Hatmon’s claws scuffed softly against the grass as she entered the reception area. Originally, she had not planned to attend, but a feminine manakete had curiosity that had to be entertained. And naturally, she came together with him as if it was habit they always be together despite there being nothing more than friendship between them. The fox-like girl was a few steps behind Kris when they arrived, as if to keep and eye on him, which wouldn’t be odd, because she had acted as a bodyguard for the man numerous times since they had met.
Upon arrival they both received champagne, which Hatmon accepted with great glee; her being a huge fan of the liquid. The glass proved to be a bit awkward for the girl’s claws to hold though, and she drank it in haste so that she could sooner be ride of the slippery glass. “I had almost forgotten the taste of champagne,” Hatmon admitted to Kris as a waiter took her glass away.
“Is that so?” Kris asked as his glass was taken away as well once he finished it off.
“A good number of years ago, the latest probably being that time I snuck out while you slept.” Her tail flicked lazily from side to side as she examined her amber colored claws.
“We did have wine not long ago though.”
“Yes, you got drunk and transformed into me and almost did things I wouldn’t be proud of with my body.”
“Speaking of such, why is it you never get drun—“
Hatmon cut him off with a motion of claw before responding. “If I can help it, such will never happen.”

Tibarn smiled and kissed her again gently, then turned to bow as the music ended with a soft flourish. The hawk king wasn't as light on his feet as the nimble swordsmistress, but he could keep up with her well enough, and he grinned as the band struck up a spicier tune, flaring his wings and taking her hands in his for a faster dance, while others at last began to join them and the dance floor slowly filled.
Wait, are we supposed to switch partners throughout, or is that just everyone else? Damnit, how the hell does this work? The muscular laguz inclined his head a bit, turning his eyes to the sky as he tried his hardest to recall, then smiled and shook his head. Who cared, really? He was happy to keep dancing with his new wife as long as he was able.
As the music went on, Ganon stretched and carefully put his guitar down. The next few sets didn't call for stringed instruments, so he slipped out and around the bandstand, mingling among the varied guests, waving to those he knew. He spotted Blossom off to the side and waved, just beginning to walk toward her when he spotted someone walk in at the edge of the reception area.
He stopped in his tracks, eye fixed firmly on Hatmon. The reptile, whose attraction to humans was minimal, was a bit stunned by her beauty-- or rather, by the realization that he found her truly beautiful. It was in the grace with which she moved and the way her hair fell about her shoulders, the...
The, the ears, and the tail. He swallowed hard, turning a bit to face her. His own tail slid around his waist for a moment, then uncurled as he finally let free the breath he'd been holding since he laid eye on her.
Composure. He quickly tore his gaze away from her and stood up a bit straighter, rising head and shoulders above every other guest present. He made sure the scarf wrapped around his torso-- a lovely blue, today-- hadn't creased up and rolled in on itself, and flicked out his tongue once before he gradually made his way toward the new arrivals, smiling.
"Welcome to the party," he said as he got close, managing to lilt in a supple baritone. "I don't believe we've met," he added, addressing Hatmon primarily. "I'm Ganon." His tail shot out behind him and stopped, then carefully wrapped around a champagne flute and lifted it off a waiter's tray. He carried it around to his claw, then raised it up before flicking his tongue into the glass and taking a sip, keeping his eye on the lovely chimera's.

Hatmon looked around calmly, taking note of the… distasteful number of humans present. She had expected as much, but still was not pleased by the results. Kris, on the other hand, cared not for what race the guests were, and would be more than happy to mingle with anyone. As mingling allowed him to analyze more… targets he could possibly transform into later on.
Kris was the first to notice Ganon’s approach, and in order to gain bring Hatmon to attention, he lightly squeezed her tail. Her response was a hiss of displeasure accompanied by a slap of the tail, as she proceeded to twist it away from his grasp. The squeeze had done just as Kris intended though, and Hatmon became award of Ganon before he was in speaking range. Not that he was hard to not notice, him being much taller than any creature she had ever laid eyes on. It wasn’t only his size, but his appearance that intrigued her. In her lifetime, the chimera had encountered many different races, but never before had she encountered one like Ganon.
“A pleasure,” came her short reply to his first statement. While being one of many words, there were times she said little, especially around those she had just met. Ganon’s introduction made Kris smirk, as if he had keyed into the mood and discovered himself unnecessary. He was feeling curious, and took this as the perfect change of escape, and thus did just that. Hatmon did not mind though, as long as he didn’t get out of her sight or cause too much trouble.
“I’d believe I would remember some as charming as you, had we met before,” Hatmon said, deciding it polite to throw in a well placed compliment during introductions. Had Ganon been human, he wouldn’t have received anything of the sort. As customary, she offered her name up once Ganon had done so. “I am called Hatmon.” The introduction was accompanied by a short bow of the head, which caused some of her dark black hair to fall into her face, which she brushed back to the side with her golden claws almost seductively.

Ganon smiled, eye darting to Kris just for a moment as the chameleon took his leave of the pair. The enormous reptile's smile became a smirk as he turned it back to the lovely vision in front of him, and he extended a claw to take her hand, flicking out his tongue. "Mmhmm... I don't think I could forget so lovely a lady, myself. I'm sure I would have written a song about you if I had ever seen you before." His tongue flickered out again playfully as he took in her scent.
"Would you care to dance? I promise not to step on your paws." Dancing with Ganon was usually awkward, even for a woman who considered herself tall, but it was certainly a different sort of experience. He never tried to crouch or any such silly thing, so one was usually looking at his chest as she danced with him, but when he could hold both your hands and wrap his tail around your waist... It was certainly different.

A small ghost of a smile placed itself on her lips, as to signal that she very much liked the compliment. It was always good to hear good things about one’s self. After the transformation to chimera, Hatmon could say she appreciated them a lot more now than she had when she had been but a human hundreds of years ago. Compliments after all, were much nicer than the insults that had been thrown at her by her mother and elder sister after they betrayed her in such a disgusting manner.
Dancing was something Hatmon hadn’t done since the years before her almost wedding. It wasn’t that her paws made it especially difficult, but rather, she had just simply not desired to… until now. Refusal would be out of place anyway, and would ruin the lovely mood the two had created. “If that is the case, it would be rude not to accept. Let us dance,” she said softly, as if almost ready to sing the words, while she placed her clawed hand within his own.

Amelia reclined against her chair, closing her eyes for a moment. The breeze was cool, easily lightening the typically-pressing heat of early summer with the aid of all the trees overhead. She opened her eyes as the branches rattled, watching Tibarn and Ayra as they continued to sweep across the dancefloor, Ayra still a vision to behold in her wedding dress and Tibarn as flashy as he always was (though considerably more formally dressed -- Amelia suspected Janaff had done something to that hair of his to make it lay in... a more controlled manner, it was as thick and windswept as ever).
She looked up as she heard a waiter murmur something. She looked to the man who was taking the champagne from him, eyes going from the white clothing -- a suit this time instead of the familiar robes -- to a head of orange hair. Amelia took in a small breath and rose to her feet, clasping her right hand around her left, letting her palm press against the stone in the ring on her third finger before heading towards him. "Rhys...!" Amelia smiled warmly and put a hand against his shoulder. "You made it!"
Blossom had lagged behind on her path to the wedding reception, and when she finally arrived, Tibarn and Ayra were already dancing. She turned down the champagne by way of taking the glass, then subtly handing the flute to the nearest person who wanted more alcohol. She didn't like the taste of that champagne stuff, and it was too bubbly and fizzed in her nose. Blossom noticed Ganon speaking to a woman that was definitely more fox-like than human. He seemed to like her, and judging by their body language, they were going to... dance, or partake in a fencing match, maybe.
No, dance. Definitely dance. People didn't fence at a wedding. Stupid.
Blossom reclined against a tree and clasped her hands in front of her, just watching the dancers and otherwise letting herself take in all the happiness in peace and quiet.

Ganon smiled, closing his claw around Hatmon's dainty paw, and guided her to the dance floor, where he took both her hands and slid his tail slowly around her back, resting just above the base of hers. "Shall we?" He grinned and took the lead, guiding her slowly at first through a slightly complicated, but wonderfully fun (and twirly) dance.
As he felt her getting the hang of it, he started working up toward the tempo of the music, laughing as he spun her away on his tail, then reeled her back in only to uncurl it again and catch her paws. A small circle formed around them-- not onlookers, just people making sure they wouldn't accidentally get run over by a dancing reptile. "Very good!" he laughed, pulling her close for a moment before starting the dance all over again.

Rhys had attended the wedding quietly (unlike some less scrupulous people with shoes to the head) and had afterward come to the reception (like some less scrupulous people with shoes to the head). Even in a suit, Rhys just liked white--white top hat, white suit with overcoat, white pants, even white shoes! The only hint of anything black on his persona was a pair of sunglasses tucked away into a side pocket. He wondered if the top hat was a bit silly... it just didn't suit him, wearing a hat for this long.
Other than that, he had on his left hand the silver engagement ring Amelia had given him, the blue-green gem absorbing the sunlight and looking a bit brighter despite all the years of wear.
"Hmm? Of course I made it! I was just being quiet for once," Rhys said, grinning as Amelia came over. Yes, Rhys hadn't had anything important to add to the wedding--this day wasn't any Host Club Party, after all. "You did the Host Club proud--you made a heartwarming speech for Tibarn and Ayra."

Amelia smiled and leaned against Rhys' chest, one hand moving over his left, the other staying in front of her. "Thank you. It was... kind of impromptu, I didn't expect Janaff to have stage fright and be put up into the spotlight like that. I'm sure Ayra was so busy with planning that she didn't think to tell me more than "You do things the Best Man can't" when she explained the duties of a Maid of Honor." Amelia looked down at her own ring, then back up to Rhys. "It's good to see you made it," she told him, lowering the volume of her voice just a tad.

Rhys snorted and laughed at the "Do things the Best Man can't" bit. It wasn't that he was seeing something behind it that could be used as a joke--it was just the WAY Amelia said it that made it funny, plus the circumstances behind it.
He calmed down and smiled as Amelia lowered her voice to add, "It's good to see you made it".
"I wouldn't have missed this," he said, his left arm wrapping around her waist. It was nice to wrap an arm around a girl in a dress--there was just something sensuous about it that you couldn't get from any other kind of clothing (excluding the "lack thereof" kind of clothing, of course). "This day's too special to be missed."
In the back of his head, he made a mental note to thank Jin for this. Much like Rei was the "Shadow King" of the Host Club, Jin was the "Shadow King" of Eyris' small medical crew, able to keep things running smoothly from the background. With the black mask around his face all the time, it suited him, too. Rhys couldn't stay long afterward--the other surviving members needed a rest, too--but Jin had bought him plenty of time to see the wedding and stick around for the reception.

Amelia smiled softly and put her fingers over his left hand again, dappling over the ring on his finger before lacing her own digits between his. She closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying the feel of his arm around her, then opened them again and looked around. Everyone was enjoying themselves, whether or not they were dancing. Special day, indeed, Amelia thought. She tilted her head back to get a glimpse of Rhys' face, mostly getting a good view of his surprisingly strong chin.
"Do you want to dance?" she asked, voice still quiet. "Or are you fine just... standing here?"

Rhys looked down into her bright green eyes. His mouth went a little dry at the realization of how close their faces were. The afternoon sun gave her blonde hair a brighter glow to it, making her more enticing...
Um, hello? She said "DANCE", not "Stare at her." Move!, said a small voice towards the back of his head.
"A dance with you would be nice," he said with a smile. As the music picked up in tempo, the couple walked down to the dance floor hand-in-hand, then picked up the tune, assuming nearly the same position they'd been in about a moment ago.

Amelia smiled warmly, nodding just once. He was stronger than people gave him credit for, really; maybe it wasn't in his physical strength, being a man of the cloth as he was, but she had witnessed his strength of will firsthand at Easter. To be able to push through two separate waves of Fenrir and heal serious wounds with a Physic staff at least three times said something for a person's fortitude. He might be sickly, but he's not a wimp, Amelia thought as they paused on the dancefloor to situate themselves before beginning their own dance.
Amelia was inwardly thankful for the opportunities to dance; by now, she'd managed to absorb enough to not require complete leading. She was able to keep up easily with Rhys' steps, though she didn't make much of an effort to lead herself. That would come with more practice. His arm on her waist, her arm around his neck, her left hand clasped in his right -- they floated on the dancefloor, as mindful as anyone else to give Ganon and his vixen dance partner a wide berth.

Durbans watched the couples dance, and he was glad he did not have a partner. He was a Warrior! Of course if St. Elimine were here, she would just laugh at him and drag him out onto the floor. For a kind woman, she was suprisingly...forceful. "Ah the good old days," He muttered as he Picked up a glass of water. He perferred not to drink. He looked down to his shoes, and noticed his midriff showing. "Confound It and all the..." The rest was not loud enough to hear. but one could assume he was cursing under his breath as he placed the water glass back down and tried a feeble attempt to fix his cloths, without ripping them off. After appropriating his clothing, He noticed the Paladin, off to the side. Her look...There was a sadness to her. Apparently a wedding gave her a bad memories, or at least something of the sort. Going out on a limb, he walked over to her. Imitating, the polite bow he had seen someone do earlier. "Miss, would you care for a dance?"
