Kane had fallen silent, listening only as his mind raced a mile a minute. After a moment, he decided he wanted a better vantage point. He dropped naturally to all fours, bounding lightly from rock to rock before perching at the top of a small pile right on the edge of the waterfall.
His wings, previously folded over his shoulders, unfurled and spread, aiding his balance in his precarious stance. The way he crouched, as well as the spread of his wings, made him look much like the depictions of architectural gargoyle statues on towers and castles sometimes seen in books. Not that he'd ever read any of those books.
His slitted eyes scanned the far-off horizon, then dropped down to the great waters where the sunlight glittered on the waves. "No, it's still the isle," he agreed in a quiet, even tone. "That's for sure. It may have changed a bit, but it's still the isle I've lived on all my life. And yet, we've learned something else. We're no longer in the air where we've always been. That's what we missed while asleep, or drugged, whatever you wanna' call it. The whole damned isle's crashed out of the sky...and somehow, we all slept through it."
He muttered the next part half to himself. "Hell of a cure for insomnia...just wish it was more voluntary..."

spookyx7 Cinna woke up to the rocking next to Phim. "What?" What happened? She looked up at Seraphim who looked rather angry. Was something trying to hurt the cave? She waited to see what he wanted done before she moved.Ivy woke up and yawned, what a pleasant sleep. She had woken up in her greenhouse, not an unusual thing for her. Somehow things were different. The trees were whispering...the Isle had moved? This was cause for some answers and off to the HQ she went. He shook his head, feeling the subtle shift in her weight. "We're going tot he HQ today. This might have had something to do with the wind recently." Seraphim refused to believe that anyone in their right mind would mess with something that belonged to him, much less while he was still in it. "Your candy supplies are low aren't they?" Try to wipe out the entire trip in one round.
The angel looked around, noting the level of destruction in the cave. It took him a moment to realize the spring that Leitha slept in was nearly gone. "Cinna, I believe we have a squished child here. Lets dig her out." He stated, getting up to unwedge the naiad from the pool she was in.
Leitha sat there, looking positively angry. She didn't like being stuck in there. Let alone be stuck in there while she was sleeping. During the process of being dug out, the child noticed there as a hole leading to the outside. Probably from some of the rocks that had fallen into the spring. It took her a moment to realize that there was a small brown funny thing that was very out of place. Being a water creature, she hadn't a clue as to what it was.
Upon being freed, Leitha looked up at Cinna, holding the thing. "Cinna, what's this?"

Seiana_ZI Esmée grabbed Bneut's hand and used it to yank herself to her feet. Then, she let her hand explore the nearby table until her hand reached some glasses. Happily, she placed them over her eyes, giving herself the gift of okay sight.
Briefly forgetting Bneut couldn't hear him even if he wasn't deaf, Fernand said, "Mr. Bneut, I do believe I am growing to like you. I would love some fresh fish. Please, lead the way."
With a giggle, Esmée said, "Fernand dear, he can't hear you." After patting her penguin on the head, she turned to Bneut. "Fernand's quite happy with this idea of getting more fish. I think he's probably hungry from taking such a nice nap." He chuckled, having no idea that Fernand had spoken to him. "I'm glad he likes me." He mused, having to wonder for the moment if he would be able to hear a familiar if he had one. The thought slipped from his mind quickly as he took Esmee's hand once more, escorting her and Fernand out of the house.
"Where would you like to fish Fernand?" The flower demonic offered, figuring that his appetite would be important at the moment.

Seiana_ZI "Wait, back up. What?" Hula Bob's dilemma escaped him for the moment. There was another problem with the statements that had so casually been offered. New beaches? An ocean? Where did those come from!? "Didn't we used to be hanging out in the sky somewhere? Where did this ocean come from? I could see a new beach, maybe, but there's an ocean?!"
Now Zuri wanted some answers. How long had he and Kiki, and her whole family, for that matter, been asleep if there were suddenly more beaches and an ocean? That couldn't have possibly happened overnight. All of his logic couldn't explain any of this.
"Did Jazz happen to know why there's new beaches and an ocean?" asked Zuri, a little calmer this time. Shouting wouldn't help. "Things like that just can't show up out of nowhere overnight." Or perhaps they could. Zuri Seabrook had never been in a situation quite like this one before. Waikiki KiKi shook her head as she didn't know the answer to any of Zuri's questions. They were all good ones to ask, but being a new teen and still rather young she didn't know the answers. "Let's ask Jazz."
She walked over to the elder who was still looking up at the bar. "Jazz do you know what happened?"Jazz looked down at the teen and shook her head. "I really don't. Once I got up I went for a flight around the island and noticed the new beaches and the ocean. I came back here to see Hula Bob so there might be more changes then even I noticed." Jazz explained. She was also hoping that her family was safe wherever they were.

"So we fell from glory."
Texas glanced over to Magnus, before moving a little closer to Kane. He seemed to have a better vantage point than they did. "That's a way of putting it." And a way of thinking about it. The idea that they had quite literally fallen from glory implied that being in the sky was glory, and that something decided that the glory was undeserved.
"So this all happened while we were asleep. We fell from the sky, and the Isle morphed into... whatever it is now."
"Seems so. Might explain the winds." Magnus could think of nothing more contructive to say.
"We slept through Telrunya somehow going through the sky and then crashing into the ocean." Unbelievable. What could have possibly caused such a deep sleep? In fact... "Something with the power to put everyone out like that is absolutely terrifying. No doubt there was a large impact, considering we couldn't even see this sea before we fell."
Who could have possibly done this? He was favored by the Guardians, right? No doubt he would've gotten some kind of warning, right? ...The Guardians would do that for their redeemers, right? Uncomfortable, Texas shifted his weight from one foot to the other and fingered the acorn in his hand.
Magnus, who had gone further ahead, turned back to Texas and noticed that his hand squeezing and fiddling with the acorn. He quirked a brow. "Well, it probably explains the acorn. It was probably loose from a tree or something, and the impact made it go flying."
Texas wasn't paying much attention. "Huh?" He asked, voice a little shakier than it was before. His eyes lifted from the ground back to Magnus, and his expression looked nothing short of sick. The demonic felt like his whole world was falling apart, and it took him a few seconds to realize what Magnus was pointing out. "Oh."
He turned the acorn over in his hand and looked closely at it. Focusing on the acorn would distract him from the world spinning around him. "But from what tree? I don't really see much in the way of acorns around here, period, especially near the beach."
Magnus knit his brows in a rare show of concern upon seeing Texas' expression, but since Texas didn't comment on it, neither did Magnus. "New tree, then? Wouldn't be too unusual, since we've already been rewarded with a new, smelly volcano and a new river. Not to mention this bloody ocean."
"I guess..." What new tree, though? He didn't think he saw an acorn tree when he had tripped over the acorn...
-----------
The naiad trotted after Kiki, taking his time after the run from earlier had left him a panting mess. The air was far too heavy in comparison to what even he was used to. When settling next to his friend, he listened carefully to what Jazz was saying, and soon found that even she had no idea what happened.
Zuri knit his brows. "So we fell asleep, woke up, and found our isle in an ocean." That was the most ridiculous thing he had ever heard, and living with Criofan and Magnus made his days pretty ridiculous as it was. "I wonder what happened. Think anyone has a clue?"
The first idea that came to his head was to ask Texas. No doubt he would know! He knew everything!--in Zuri's eyes, anyway. Alas, Zuri had no idea where his older brother/father figure even was.
-----------
"I would like to fish at the Tuatha'Ri Lake, Mr. Bneut. There are always most pleasant fish there, as it is the biggest body of water on the isle." Fernand vaguely nodded, as well as a penguin could, before beginning to waddle in the direction of the lake.
"He says he wants to go to the lake," offered Esmée, before starting to follow Fernand, still with her hand in Bneut's. "He says the fish there are the most pleasant because it is the biggest lake we have."
Acting as a messenger could get a little tedious at times, but she had grown used to it. "Looks like a nice day to go to the lake and fish. The winds are gone, the sun is shining." It didn't seem quite as bright as usual, but that was probably just her vision.
"The air is quite enjoyable today, Esmée. Tell me, when did Telrunya Isle get such a delightful amount of water in it's air?"
Now that was a strange observation. While she kept walking, she turned to her penguin and asked, "Excuse me?"
"It was merely an observation, Esmée."

Two blue eyes emerged from the lake. Something strange was going on and the naiad wanted to know why. Casually scanning the beach, Calder noticed a lot of debris; the bar that he watched pae frequent was now partially in the water. Pae looking confused were skittering around as if trying to figure out what happened. "So no one else knows either then?" he mused to himself.
The naiad remembered having dinner with his mother then resting on a particularly soft growing of sponge for a nap. When he awoke there was a heaviness that he had never known, the force of gravity closer to the earth. Not seeing Belisma around to ask her about it, Calder had decided to cautiously go topside. Living with a shut-in for a mom, he had little...well, no social skills & was very awkward around strangers. Watching from a distance was good.
Casting his eyes in the other direction he noticed that the forest had gotten much taller, as if whatever had happened had pushed the ground up to ledges instead of the gently sloping hills from before. The river still led out toward nowhere but now it had a steep reinforcing wall of earth on each side. "A Naiad could get claustrophobic in a ravine like that," he told himself in his naturally deep and throaty voice. Sometimes his voice scared him if he didn't speak for a few days, a booming sound coming from within him.
Flipping his tail, Calder stared as far down the ravine as he could see. The debate was simply to go or not to go. Curiosity versus caution. At the moment curiosity was putting up a strong argument, but being a pae of little experience with the world caution had the upperhand. The debate raged on.

Jazz thought about it for a moment. "Guardian Iris would. She leaves notes mostly. Maybe there is one somewhere?" Jazz gave her idea. She felt bad because she was an elder and should know things, but she didn't. Then again she was just the elder for entertainment and this was not entertaining.
Hula Bob nodded. "That does make sense. Maybe you two should head there with Jazz and we'll work on the bar." Hula Bob for once didn't sound like his normal happy go luck surfer...instead like a normal person. It wasn't right and all of his family could feel it. Hula Bob seeing their stares shook his head and added a "Shaw."
Waikiki KiKi nodded. "Do you want do Zuri?" She asked the other teen with a nod. Jazz looked ready to. There wasn't much more then could do to help her Great grandpa at the moment.

Something seemed a little off about the way Hula Bob was acting, but it didn't really surprise Zuri. After all, his bar had just gotten flooded by whatever had caused them to be surrounded by an ocean "That's a good idea." Zuri would much rather ask his older brother, but Guardian Iris was a Guardian. She had to have some idea why the island had relocated. After all, she was supposed to be protecting them.
He nodded in turn to Waikiki Kiki. "Alright. Let's head over there." After taking a moment to look behind him and then look in front of him to make sure everything else mostly appeared to be in place, he began to walk in the direction of the Pae'il Headquarters.
After all, unlike the other two, he was incapable of flying there.

Jazz began to walk with the two teens. "We'll be back soon." She told Hula Bob and his family. Jazz was hoping that maybe her family had made it to the HQ as well. This way she could make sure they were safe at the same time.
Jazz noticed a new lighthouse as they were walking. There seemed to be others around it as well. "It that it?"
Waikiki KiKi nodded as she followed the elder. "I wonder if other things have changed? No longer being in the sky is just odd, right?" She asked.
****
Jet had woken up in his hut with Zoe down the hall. He found her and asked what had changed. His daughter didn't know what he was talking about. The two then headed to his mother's and brother's. There they found Rain and found out that their mom had left earlier and Rain wasn't sure where she was. The three then headed for the HQ as well.
****
Apollo stood next to his father outside his lighthouse. "Why is there another one? Should I go see?"
"I think we should." Eclipse said. The two then headed over there slowly as Eclipse hated to take the light away from others. Luckily he had his son's light with him.
****
Coral was swimming with Memphis when she noticed something. The two ended up in the Waplei Cove. "What is this?" The water seemed to go on forever.
Memphis shrugged. She was only a child and didn't know things away. Still, she liked the big water. She could swim and swim forever.
****
Pinkie Lee was now in Ithyl Forest but it didn't phase her. The girl had no memory so she didn't know anything was different. The fae just continued to walk headed to the new beach.
Yes, the beach. the angel flamingo said.
Yeah, I like it too. the demon flamingo said.

"Why is the Headquarters a lighthouse?" asked Zuri, more than a little confused. Houses could change their shapes now? He understood that the Headquarters was quite massive and seemed to have infinite rooms, but he had no idea that it could do something like that.
The naiad kept walking towards the building, wiping sweat from his brow. The surface was rather hard to stand in the first place, but the heavy, salty air was making it even less tolerable than usual for the man who was used to the fresh water high up in the sky. All this walking was quickly taking a toil on him.
"Hopefully there's some water near the Headquarters," muttered Zuri, as they drew closer to the building. As soon as they got there, the naiad began to look for anyone who may've found some answers, or that note from Guardian Iris they may have gotten.
-----------
Criofan, at some point, had gotten stuck with Okeanos. He wasn't too pleased, especially since the naiad child was incredibly moody and required lots and lots of water. Otherwise, he threw a temper tantrum. Criofan was hardly a morning person, but he was quickly awoken at his house next to the bath tub by Okeanos whining and screaming that he needed to go to the lake RIGHT NOW.
Needless to say, Criofan dragged himself to the beach with the whiny Okeanos in tow. As soon as he got there, he plopped back down on the sands and fell asleep, completely ignoring the fact that the air was heavy and salty, and perhaps the lake was too big. He was simply exhausted--still!--after being woken up in the morning three days after he had fallen asleep.
Figures.
Okeanos seemed to be a little ignorant to the happenings too, but of course, he had only recently become truly aware of much of everything. Instead of caring at all, he poked at the rune that had burned into his hand before opting to create waves again, happy that people were attempting to dump more water in his direction. What nice people!

Seiana_ZI "Noel!" As soon as she heard her name called by that familiar voice, she looked up to the sky and started waving frantically until Noel joined her near the water. It was then when Aysu settled herself in the water, moving her arms to keep herself afloat.
Her cave was gone? What happened? Aysu looked horrified. "What happened to your home? Where's Cinna? Is she alright?" Of course, this wasn't the time to bombard Noel with questions. Unable to do much more, Aysu swam up to Noel and hugged her legs, unable to leave the water.
"Shh, shh, it'll be alright..." Aysu tried to be soothing from her position below Noel. "We'll figure out what happened and get you a place to stay while we find you a new cave, or something. And we'll locate Cinna, too," offered Aysu, assuming Cinna was gone because she wasn't with Noel. "I don't know! I woke up and it looks like the rocks slid and covered the entrance!" She couldn't believe it could happen like that, but it had to have. "How?" How did she not wake up and how did she end up outside?
"Cinna?" Cinna was gone with that mate of hers. "SHe with her mate, I think." She hoped she was anyway...she had to be. She felt better now that Aysu was holding her. She then drifted down into the water to be closer to Aysu, "I just had to find you." She said with the tears lightening up a bit.Dementia Requiem Asumi He shook his head, feeling the subtle shift in her weight.

Upon being freed, Leitha looked up at Cinna, holding the thing. "Cinna, what's this?"
Cinna nodded, "Ok, and yeah I need more candy." She always needed more candy. It helped keep her in a happier-more-like-herself-mood. "Oh my gosh!" She said as she rushed to help Phim get the girl out.
She was relieved when the naiad child climbed out ok. Cinna looked at the little thing, "An acorn?" How did an acorn get into the cave? How peculiar.((I didn't want o quote the whole Takeko post lol)) Aspen nodded, "This is so strange." He hadn't a clue what had transpired. How had all the occurred and why had they slept through it.
Takeko took off and Aspen looked up at her. "Where..." He decided to let her go and in stead checked in on Melek. What if he woke alone?((Ivy's at the HQ if Aleara wants to chat. lol)) Ivy heard the voice and followed it. "Hello?" She answered. "I'm here." Ivy saw the girl looked very upset and the elder wanted to help her clam down. "Are you ok?"

Aysu worried about Cinna and this mysterious mate. Who was this person Cinna was following around? When Noel commented that Cinna was with her mate, Aysu couldn't help her frown. Aysu wished she actually knew this man. Sure, she wasn't Cinna's mother, but she still felt like a mother to the young woman.
But, nevertheless, it was good to see Noel. She hugged her a little tighter, and then reached up to wipe the tears from Noel's eyes. "Yes, it's good to see you. The air seems a little heavy and I usually don't fall asleep so low in the sea... This is all rather strange." Aysu sighed lightly, kissing Noel's stomach lightly, the nearest thing she could reach.

"Then we'll head to the headquarters first." He finalized his statement, helping both of the females up. Seraphim looked at the acorn curiously, then up at the hole it had likely come through. "Perhaps it fell through the rather large hole that's now in the wall." The angelic suggested.
She held the acorn for a moment before twisting some hair around it. It would be secure there. "How does it look?" Leitha asked in a flat tone that she had picked up from her 'father'. With a small laugh, she climbed out of the spring and grabbed her necklace so she could walk on land.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He was getting better at reading Esmee's lips from the side, as she wasn't looking directly at him when she spoke. "It is a nice day." Bneut agreed, happily swinging their hands as they walked. "What is he saying?" He asked, looking between the two of them.
Esmée turned her attention to Bneut. "He's saying that the air feels like it's got more water in it. I guess it's more hydrating for him... he is a penguin, after all." A penguin that could survive in the heat of the summer for some reason, but not without a bit of complaints. Perhaps that was just because Fernand was a familiar, though; that made him a special kind of penguin.
She turned her attention back to Fernand. "I don't know. Maybe it's just today. The sun doesn't seem quite so bright, either, but maybe that's just because my vision's getting worse."
"Esmée, that is most peculiar! The sun looks like it is very bright today. Perhaps it is just your rather poor eyesight." The sun did not seem less bright, or further away. Did it? The penguin started to squint at the sky, before flinching because it still wasn't too smart to look at the sun.
"Of course, looking straight at the sun shall damage my eyes as well, Esmée."
The angelic Pae'il snickered, before turning to Bneut. "Does the air seem damper? I didn't notice." Fernand's senses tended to be a little more alert than her own, especially since she had gotten more adept at her rubbery form. The better she got at that, the less she felt in her regular form, it seemed...
"Maybe it rained..."
"No," responded the still blinded Fernand. "This is not the feeling of rain."
Alaera was rather glad to hear another voice but when it's owner rounded the corner she wasn't so sure anymore. She'd encounter another elder before in the past though the memory was now faint. The creature that was looking at her with such concern was very different from any pae she'd ever set eyes on and with all the other changes that had happened...well her reaction probably wasn't one of her best.
She instinctively backed away, her thoughts flying. Could it be...she looked down at herself hurriedly checking herself out. No...she was still the same...maybe...the demon blurted out her thoughts.
"What happened to you? Were you inside the building when it changed?? Is that why you look so different? And why I look normal still? What's happened?Why is there suddenly an impassable cliff blocking me from getting home?"
