"Never saw much of the point in codenames myself," Sierra admitted honestly. The idea puzzled her. What good was it? Made you look like a moron. Her own name was good enough for her. At least her first name.

She leaned back, arm resting on the window as the caravan set out. She could have driven a jeep; she was certainly old enough. However, clearly they'd had enough drivers in the group this time, so she could always volunteer in the future if necessary. Or just take the opportunity to drive herself alone if the situation presented itself. Wouldn't bother her any.

She wasn't used to so much...'group' ethics and whatnot. Especially at home. At home, you either took care of yourself or you went without. The only ones who were allowed to be unable to look after themselves were babies and if you wanted to be a baby, you were treated as such. Babies had no place...no rights...no use.

Sierra was no baby.

Her icy blue eyes remained locked on the Charizard overhead until the city fell into view. So, that's where they were headed, eh? This should prove to be a very 'interesting' day, that was for sure.

She waited until Nikki parked the Jeep, then moved Celeste back to her shoulder before hopping out. As TRP relayed further instructions, Sierra idlly turned the special Pokedex over and over in her hands. She hoped against all hope that she wouldn't need that button. However, if things became dangerous, the embarrassment of asking for a little help outweighed the shame of injury and total defeat, didn't it?

...didn't it?

As if SEA had mentioned something humorous, 1337 couldn't help but let out a hearty laugh. However, once the moment had passed through his mind, he finally gave an answer.

"1337. If ya don't like saying numbers, then it can be read as 'LEET,' and that works as well..."

At this point their superior had announced it was time to drive to their new destination. With a big grin, 1337 started the car. Oh yes, this would be fun.

All during the first 4/5 of the drive, 1337 drove like a maniac. He'd stomp on the gas with a lead foot, he'd turn the car at high speeds without stepping on the brakes but a touch, and he swerved from side to side, making certain to not crash into any of the other vehicles. It was only in the last stretch that he cackled out and let out a "Oh, I TOTALLY got ya'll!" For that last stretch of the drive, the computer hacker drove like a safe driver. Perhaps he scarred a couple of the passengers for life, but it was all in the sake of his own personal amusement.

Once he had parked the car, he stretched his arms out, rolling his left shoulder, then his right one. "S'pose it's time t'get to work." He once again, only partially listened to the directions, but he could eventually look the information over again if he wanted to. Technology was such a wonderful thing.

SEA was still turning the codename '1337' over in her head when the man hit the gas and shot the vehicle they were in through the desert. SEA didn't even bother screaming and just hung on for dear life. Looking at the man, it was easy to tell he was enjoying their fright. When they finally arrived at their destination SEA exited the jeep on wobbly legs, yet she felt somewhat exhilarated all the same. Must be the adrenaline rush. She'd have to try that herself sometime. Though of course she probably end up running into something.

It took a moment for her to gather her land legs but when she did she attended to what TRP was saying. SEA wasn't really expecting to have to use the call help button. Really. It shouldn't be as hard as all that? she thought to herself, the excitement clouding her better judgement. She obviously hadn't learned her lesson from the previous attacks on her person while trying to capture pokemon. SEA wondered idly if Othello was awake yet and if he was up to and willing to help her out a bit.

User ImageNadali was distracted with the view, so much that she lost track of the conversation completely. Instead, she just nodded her thanks and said her name before opening the door and hopping out in town. She listened carefully to what TRP said, as well as checked her pokedex to find the button in question, before nodding at the last question.

It helped a little to know where it was, but Nadali hoped that she would only need to call the boss when she finally caught a pokemon. And so, as soon as she seemed to get the clear, she grabbed her pokeball from her hip and pressed the button.

In a flash of red light, a dark pichu appeared in front of her, letting out a yawn before looking around at the others. Nadali had introduced her pichu to the rocket facilities the first few nights of her trainee stay, but of course the creature wasn't all familiar with the lands. Than again, neither was Nadali, so it wasn't expected that they would both be comfortable right away.

"Alright Senka," She said after the creature seemed comfortable, "We are looking for ghost pokemon around here, it's our mission, so lets see if we can do it quickly, alright?"

She watched as her pichu seemed to nod before rushing up her pant leg and settled on her shoulder. Than, she looked back to where TRP was and waited for the signal that they could finally split up and head out.

Tatsuya didn't even have time to give 1337 and the rest of his car-mates his code name, 'Clyde' before the car rocketed off across the desert. 1337's insane driving tossed Clyde around in the back seat as he clung on for dear life.
When the car finally stopped, he dizzily exited the vehicle, mentally making a note to NEVER get in the same car as that guy ever again. After collecting himself, he released Pandora from her pokeball to brief her on the mission.
"Alright then Pandora, our mission here is to look for Ghost-type pokemon. Can you handle that?" Clyde addressed his pokemon.

The timid charmander was holding her tail in her tiny claws. She cowered a bit as his words. Ghost-types?! They were scary! Pandora's eyes began to water, she was suddenly more terrified than usual. What if they attacked her? She sniffled and ran to her trainer's left and began to cling to it.
Clyde scoffed in distaste. "Pandora! It's the middle of the day for Pete's sake, even if there are any ghosts, they won't be very powerful. We need to get to work." He shook his boot a little bit, trying to get the charmander off it. She finally let go, leaving tiny cuts in the boots. Ugh. He was definitely going to need a new pair after this adventure. He sighed, "Fine. I'll carry you. But when we do find a ghost pokemon, you're going to have to do the fighting." He proceeded to scoop up his charmander. He then looked around, deciding they would try their luck at one of the abandoned buildings once they could split up.

It seemed that many of the other Rocket Grunts were getting ready for this mission, calling out their Pokemon, mentally preparing, and stuff of the like. However, 1337 just seemed a bit disinterested for the moment. He leaned against one of the shoddy buildings and with his right hand, he merely flicked at the chain hanging from his nose out of boredom. If this place was really filled with as many ghost-types as their superior had suggested, then tracking down something for the lab would not be a very difficult task.

Once more, his left hand took to what seemed to be typing, and the agent took to calculating out a few things. His own tool for this part of the trade would be handy in locating the desired Pokemon, however, it's ability to weaken ghost types was not exactly all that good. For the highest chances of success, he'd have to partner up with somebody else. 1337 could do the tracking, and then the other grunt could take care of weakening the ghost-types.

The next thing he'd have to figure out was who would be the victim for this partnership. Logically, he'd have higher success with someone who had driven up with him in the same vehicle. Since, without a doubt, the other grunts in different jeeps probably already created their own alliances. That left him with 3 to choose from, 1 guy and 2 girls. Glancing over to the three, he mentally started doing "Eenie, Meenie, Minie, Moe!" The last person he looked at was the relatively quiet girl of the group. She had barely uttered her codename at the end of the ride. With a bit of a grin curling his lips, he approached Nadali and her strangely colored Pichu.

"Hey, I was totally thinkin' this all over, and I think it would be a really good idea if the two of us worked together on this mission. Especially since I really didn't get to learn too much about you on that car ride. Always a good idea t'get to know tha' people you'll be working with in the future, right?" Inserting his toothy grin here, he awaited a response from the girl. Hopefully things would just fall into place.

User ImageSenka perked up while Nadali was distracted yet again, her dark eyes turning as her whole body rose up. Behind her, her purple tail shifted to keep balance, though it wouldn't matter because she was good at any sort of fall. Yet, she wasn't thinking of that, instead she was watching as the male 1337 was heading their way.

It was obvious to the pokemon that the male wanted to speak with her trainer, and so she touched her tail to the back of Nadali's neck, and sent a little spark, catching her trainer's attention immediately.

"Ouch!" Nadali let out, more surprised than hurt by the common display her pokemon gave, "What is it Senka-oh..." She turned to where 1337 now stood, and tilted her head the slightest bit, "Hello..."

She listened to his reasoning, moreso because it was kinda funny how much he seemed to rush through his sentences, before pondering for a few seconds. Senka, who still was perched on her shoulder, continued to eye 1337 with a sort of frown and a glare.

"You do make a good point, my friend. And I'm sorry about the ride...I'm not from around these parts, so I had to focus on the lands since this is probably where I'll be training in future missions. But how about a former introduction, the name's Nadali, Nadali Pade."

She reached out her hand, the arm opposite of where Senka sat.

Behind his visor, the agent couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow in surprise. Normally when in such an organization, the agents introduced themselves by their agent names (to which he'd then research and figure out what their real names were). Normally it didn't work the other way around.

His left hand made a quick gesture mimicking typing again, but it stopped quite quickly. With his right hand he then grabbed onto the girl's hand rather firmly for a handshake. Nobody would ever be able to claim 1337 had a "wussy" handshake.

"Ah, Agent RECKLESS, I believe, yes? I'm 1337, though if you prefer saying it as 'LEET' rather than a string of numbers, that's fine." It was then that he finally leaned over and took a slightly closer look at the Pichu.

"Yer Pichu is rather unique, ain't it? Too dark to be a 'dark' Pokemon. Ya give it a nickname or anything?" 1337 straightened himself up again after his slight inspection of the small Pokemon and awaited a response. Despite his plans to do the tracking, he still didn't bother with releasing his own tool for the job.

Sierra stole a glance around at the other team members preparing to set out. Everyone seemed more prepared and calm than she did...then again, she didn't look nearly as nervous as she felt. Her primary concern came from worrying how her normal type Pokemon was going to fare against ghost types.

Sighing, she opened the Pokedex and fiddled with it for a second. She wasn't clueless on how to raise and battle Pokemon by a long shot...but having visual references when her mind was racing a mile a minute helped keep her somewhat on task.

"Alright, you," she muttered to Celeste, the Pidgey cooing and nuzzling her cheek again. "Some of your abilities aren't going to be of any use against these ghost types. It looks like we're down to depending on Sand Attack and Gust. If we can blind one of them, we might be able to wear it down with time." She murmured strategy with the bird Pokemon...who nodded in an almost human manner. Odd. After a second, Sierra glanced sideways at the bird and sighed. "...if things get too rough, stir up some sand as a distraction and we'll make a run for it to regroup."

She ignored the reassuring coo and gentle brush of Celeste's wing against her cheek, turning her attention back to her new 'teammates.' This was only the first of many tests on the road ahead, so no use getting bogged down now.

User ImageAfter giving the group a few moments to ask any questions and prep their Pokemon TRP nodded, "Alright gang. Head out. You can go it alone or work in groups. The interior rooms of the larger buildings are going to have the most ghost Pokemon. They're tricky buggers. Like to play games.. disappear. Don't get frustrated. Just stick to it and report back when you've caught one."

(Gonna let you guys RP the exploring and the ghost-types yerselves. ~_^ Just remember what TRP said. Mostly gastlys and haunters. Let's try not to bring up anything too rare or exotic for this first mission. If you're not okay with RPing the Pokemon your Rocket is trying to catch let me know and I can control a few ghosts for you.)

Again Nikki nodded as TRP dismissed them. She kept the advice in mind, although she already knew a little bit about ghost types. Enough to know that her Pidgey was at somewhat of a disadvantage. But that didn't matter and she turned to stride away from the group and off in her own direction in the town without so much as a word.

User Image"Uh...correct...though you can call me Nadali...I'm not really in a reckless mood if you know what I'm saying..."

She didn't meed to push it off, they just asked for a code-name, and she gave the only thing that came to mind, her nick-name on the seas. She just assumed it would be used by superiors, but at the moment she would rather be called by her name than anything else. Maybe, when she was more than just a grunt, she would go by her code-name, or create a new one.

Senka watched as 1337 moved closer while Nadali was responding, and suddenly jumped on top of Nadali's head before landing on her other shoulder.

"Chu...." It was a soft warning for the male to get no closer, and as she growled it out her cheeks glowed from her move, thundershock.

"Yeah...she's unique alright..not your perky pichu. I'd recommend you stay away from her until she's used to you...but even than she's a bit shock-happy. Oh, and she likes to go by Senka...darkness...just like her fur..."

Trailing off, she turned her eyes toward TRP, listening at the last commands before turning back to where 1337 stood.

"Looks like we're good to go...I doubt any ghost would wander outside in the daylight, so I think our best bet would be in the buildings..." Trailing off again in a softer tone, she waited to see what 1337's response would be.

User Image He knew a thing or two about ghosts, and ghost pokemon were no exception. He also knew of places and things that tended to draw more potent and dangerous ghosts and it was then that he began to move away from the group. It was time to seek out a nursery of some sort, or perhaps just a childs room that is long since abandoned, it would be from there that he started his rounds. He knew he could definitely find such a room in a larger domicile and thus he scanned the city to find such a place.

His feet carried him with a great deal of haste as he made his way from the group. He wanted nothing to do with them while he made his hunt for the ghosts, it would be he who would do his best to reap the rewards of a victory here.

Icy blue eyes narrowed as the Rocket members scattered and Sierra shook her head slightly. So much for teamwork. Even in a team, you could only depend on yourself. So be it.

She held out her arm and Celeste flapped her wings, taking to the air. The little Pidgey circled into the sky, then wheeled away with a trill. Had she spotted something already? Unlikely, but Sierra took off following her, eyes scanning the ground as her partner scanned from the sky.

This is what I've been waiting for, SEA thought as TRP gave the go ahead. Without waiting for any of the others, she rushed off towards a small cluster of abandoned buildings. The place really did look like a 'ghost town.' Rubble was falling from the decaying building and the earth seemed to reclaiming its territory. "Okay Othello. Time to come out and do your job." SEA activated the pokeball and released the squirtle from inside. As she expected, he was still sleeping and curled inside his shell. "Hey! Time to wake up." She picked him up and shook the shell lightly, 19.8 pounds and all. Over the training period, SEA had managed to build up her strength from just having to drag her unruly pokemon around all the time. Now she could pick him up and carry him around without so much as breaking a sweat. Maybe she would become stronger if she had to do this when Othello became a Wartortle as well. Though, anyone else it may not seem a whole lot . . .

Othello unfurled slowly from his shell and rubbed at his eyes sleepily. "Yawn~" "Come on. We've got a mission to accomplish," SEA said, setting him on his feet. The young pokemon followed behind her obediently, not yet awake enough to argue
