Glitch jumped out of the car, rematerialising in a heap on the floor. Jumping in was easy enough but she still hadnt gotten the hang of ending up back on her feet, afterwards.
She jumped up and dusted some driveway gravel off of her.
"Hey dont call me kiddo, or pipsqueak or any of those types of names. I can hold my own you know, just cause im short doesnt mean im any less of an adult"
She didnt like being treated like a kid, she'd be 16 in a few months and that was adult as far as she was concerned

"Whoa Kiddo, take a chill pill. I didnt mean to offend you. You're just short thats all. I have no idea how old you are. I'd guess 'bout twelve?"
He smirked at her knowing her was winding her up. he wasnt doing it to be mean, it was just his way of horsing around to make friends.
"How about we go inside and find some food. Maybe find where that other girl went and see if she wants to come for food too. Afterall it seems like we're the only students around this place"

Glitch growled under her breath as Chaos continued to call her Kiddo.
"Im not TWELVE. Im almost 16 I'll have you know!"
She snapped at him, but quickly calmed down when he started talking about food. She was pretty hungry.
"Yeah we should go find Kora and see if she wants food as well. Come on I know where her room is"
Taking the lead now she headed off inside, forgetting to shut the car door that she had possessed a moment before.

Kora sighed. Her iPod was on the song 'B.Y.O.B.' for the third time. She loved the song, and often lip singed along with it; she rarely does this around other people, for it makes her seem foolish to do so. Some flashed of light had some through he window from the front, but her music was up so loud that she couldn't tell if it was a car alarm going off or if someone was just screwing around with their powers, or something along those lines.
Kora's stomach growled. Although she didn't hear it, she felt it. She hadn't eaten the entire time she had been here, and only had eaten at her house before she jumped into the car. Kora sighed as she stopped her iPod, conveniently at the ending of the song, and placed it onto the charger she had set up for it. Getting off of her bed, she stretched her stiffened body.

Glitch had reached Koras room and banged on the door. Not giving the teen chance to answer she yelled through the wood.
"Hey. Kora? You in there? We're going for food and was wondering if you wanted to come?"

 Yuki walks up to the school, her wings folded neatly on her back, a letter in her hand.
She looked at it, "I hope I can fit in here." She continued into the building, and looked for someone to tell her where her dorm room was.

A voice sounded from outside her room. It was a female's voice asking if Kora would like to join them in finding some food. Ah. Glitch. "Ummm..." she said, thinking for a moment. "I guess. Be out in a second."
Kora had nothing to prepare, but she insisted on waiting a moment for conversation and the socializing. She took a last glance on the little locket that lay neatly on her dresser before she went to the door and opened it. Glitch stood there, her vivid red hair visible from a mile away. Kora wondered where Chaos was. "Alright, lets go..." she said as enthusiastically as possible. Kora stepped out of her dorm and stood by Glitch, waiting for her to lead.

Skye had been walking out of the canteen after having eaten. She felt much more human after having some food in her stomach and she felt much more upbeat too. She saw a girl standing in the hallway looking a little lost. Brilliant wings of white folded on her back. To be able to fly must be a wonderful gift to have. Skye mused as she walked towards the girl.
"Hello there. Im Miss Tryston, are you perhaps a new student."
Skye hadn't seen the girl at the assembly earlier.

Chaos had followed Glitch to the dorms and watched her bang on a door, a few moments later Kora appeared. She didnt see him at first and he realised it was because he had unwittingly been standing in the shadow
of a grandfather clock that ws placed out in the hallway. He'd accidentally merged with the shadow. He had discovered that happened more often when he was feeling relaxed and happy.
He faded back out into the hallway so people could actually see him.
"Sorry. I'm here, just being a dofus as per usual. So we getting food now?"
He sounded hopeful, for ever since having mentioned food he had gotten increasingly more hungry. Chaos by Nature

"Oh hello, yea I'm new, and looking for someone to tell me where my dorm room is. I'm Yuki" Yuki said, hearing Miss Tryson ask her if she was new.
"Do you happen to know where my room is, do you?"

Skye thought for a moment. She'd been up to the dorms and everyone had a name and number on their rooms door. So it shouldnt be difficult to find Yukis.
"I'm sure it'll be no trouble to find. The school has a room reserved for each pupil so your name will be on your door. I'll show you the way if you want, I was heading that way anyway"
This wasnt actually true, but Skye had nothing else better to do. not for the next 2 days until the contest for team leader finished. That reminded her she better tell Yuki.
"You missed the induction assembly. Basically it said normal classes would start in 2 days time, before that theres going to be a contest to select the team leader for the team we're all going to be placed in. You dont have to participate if you dont want to but I think the headmaster would like everyone to enter. im not sure what the contest entails but it starts at 3pm in 2 days time outside in the basketball courts"
It was probably a lot for the new girl to take in at one time.
"Im sure the other students will keep you up to date as well"

When Kora had asked where Chaos was, Glitch had turned round to look, but he wasnt where she expected him to be. Then all of a sudden he just appeared. She jumped a mile, from the shock and then giggled at herself for being so jumpy.
"Okay, well cafeteria must be in this direction I guess" She dug around in her pocket and pulled out the crumpled mess of a map. Scanning it briefly she nodded satisfied.
"yep this way, come on guys Im starving."
She punched the air in a almost cheerleader sort of way.
"yay! Food Food I like food."

"Thank you, lets just hope I don't burn the building down," Yuki said, then covered her mouth. She didn't like to tell anybody about her ability with fire, since it seemed to scare most people away from her.

Skye looked at yuki for a moment.
"You can control fire huh?"
She looked down at her own hands, knowing what she could do and feeling that same dreadful sickening feeling when she remembered that kid she had fatally injured.
"Our powers can be quite dangerous when not properly controlled, but i'm sure the headmaster knows this. he seems to have most eventuallities catered for"

It was at that point that Dr essex walked towards them both, smiling as he overheard the conversation.
"Ah Miss Tryston, so nice to hear my name being used in a positive manner"
He smiled although the grin did not reflect in his eyes. He looked at Yuki.
"I hope you find the school to your liking. your room is equipped to help with your particular needs and wants, such as flame retardent materials for bedding and curtains. If theres anything you need or wish to ask, dont hestitate."

Yuki smiled when she heard that she had fireproof bedding and curtains.
"Thank you sir" she said to Dr Essex. She had burnt her fair share of bedding and curtains. "I just have one question. Where can I safely practice controling fire?"
