Hitsuga's brow knits a bit at the explanation and, at length, he nods.
He admittedly doesn't know her father all that well aside from the brief run-ins they've had a couple of times, wherein he found himself too rattled to attempt to talk to him. But if that's how he's always been, then there's really no call for apology on anyone's behalf.
At any length, he goes on, bending to pick up the leeks that still laid splayed on the floor in a green fan, as he'd said, it was a silly reason to be startled and bruise up perfectly good fruits. He gives a sheepish sort of smile to punctuate it as he draws back to his full height.

Well, perhaps...
Melody thinks a bit. Perhaps, they could all go out for sno-cones together someday! And Melody can show Hitsuga even more about Gaia, and once she figures out her portable amp, she'll be happy to show Hitsuga her guitar-playing skills!
She doesn't know what sort of music they have back where he comes from, but she really really likes Gaian music, and she really really hopes Hitsuga will like it too!

Hitsuga would be happy to meet up with Lady Melody again someday. And to properly meet her father, for that matter. 4laugh
He's afraid he's not been well-acquainted with Gaia's fare of music, aside from the loud booming noise that was filtering out of the ceiling of the clothing shop he visited shortly after arriving. Therefore he is open to anything Melody would care to share.

Then it's settled! They'll have a nice outing with nice music and nice food, and they'll have lots of fun. It can be Hitsuga's official welcome to Gaia!
And Melody will introduce him to her husband too (She's absolutely positive that they'll get along FAMOUSLY, even if she has no real basis for believing so)!

What Hitsuga thinks privately, behind the guarded wall of his mind, is that it sounds like it may be a little much. Well...all right, a LOT much. The only person he's really comfortable spending extended periods around is his younger sister, Eikou and she is worlds away for now...he can easily foresee himself becoming a trembling, wheezing spectacle and ruining the day for everyone else should something go wrong.
.....but Melody looks so happy with her idea at the moment, he cannot SAY that, and he knows it.

Hitsuga would be, likewise, honored to meet Lady Melody's husband. And he is sure that such a day would be very memorable.
