Fine, fine! You caught me! I don't actually write. I bite. There's a humorous story behind my introduction to what I thought was the Biter's Forum. I found I had made a grievous error, and now... I've been sucked into a lie that I can't keep up anymore. crying

I'm writing a screenplay with a friend from work. The planning stage is finally out of the way, and we are slowly ( ninja ) slowly typing it out.
We're up to 30 pages now.

In the mean time, I'm supposedly working on my first novel (I lost the notebook I had all the planning work in, and with it, all my motivation for writing it sweatdrop ).
I found my notebook. surprised

Ugh.

I hate typing stories, since this is a family computer, and all of them can read it if they wish.

And I hate writing them, as my handwriting sucks a**.

So I'm in a pickle. I've got stories just DYING to come out onto paper - but I can't figure out how to do it!!

*cries with frustration*

I'd recommend getting some encryption so you can keep your stories on your hard drive without your family snooping. That, or keep a floppy disk with you, and only save the stories on floppy.

It's not so much where to save them...

The computer is in an obvious place in our house - and they insist on reading what I'm doing at every moment of the day.

eek Spiffy. I would be royally perturbed if someone did that to me.

I'm writing a novel where this girl fakes her death, runs away to arazona, and then is confronted several years later by her schizo ex. Does this sound good to anyone else?

I am royally perturbed. Which is why I no longer sleep, and use more of nighttime for the puperness. Doesn't help me with writing though...

Right now the only thing I'm working on is a Harry Potter romance for my cousin Kait. It's got a few Original Characters and that kindsa thing. It doesn't have a huge plot, mostly romance so yeah...

I've been working on a whole bunch of different stuff, but I've been working on one major thing for the last 5 years. It's an original fantasy/sci-fi thing-a-ma-bob.
Basically there are 5 teenagers who are pulled onto a world called Devion that's in a whole other universe. They encounter a supernatural being named Kepar and end up finding that they are all descendants of 6 great leaders that used to rule over this system thousands of years ago. Their power was eventually overthrown and they had to excape to Earth. Now the 5 teens must find the 6th descendant and resotre the balance of power to its proper place.
That, in a very, very, very small nutshell is the idea of my sory. The outline itself is 17 pages long. This post is a record for me. Usually whenever I try ot explain my story it takes about 20 minutes to a half hour to get it all out. This is breakthrough!! biggrin
I do enjoy it more when I get to really prattle on and on about it, though... wink

I'm writing a story called Quintet of Destruction... it's the first in a series of what will be five stories ^_^. I posted the first chapter on this guild already, so if you can, please read and comment.

I get most of my inspiration for the story from random music, anime, and roleplaying. It's actually sorta easy for me >.>;

I can't work on projects for too long, or I go insane, therefore, I have about ten going at the same time.

There's the Fushigi Yuugi fanfic that I co-author, which is up to chapter 23 on fanfiction.net and still in progress...there's the other Fushigi Yuugi fanfic I'm writing myself, which I just finished Chapter 18 on, but I'm not going to post it until it's completed. There's the trilogy of Pirates of the Caribbean fanfics, the X-men fic I'm just playing around with, and the Harry Potter fic I gave up on because I hated the third movie so much that it sucked out my love of the fanfic.

I'm crazy. Something's wrong with me. Oh well, life goes on.

People are going to scream, "DIE!" but I am writing 3 self-inserts. One of them is Final Fantasy 7, which I'm having trouble with and it will be LONG. The second is Neon Genesis Evangelion, which I'm doing rather well with, but it will be LONG. The third is an original that I try to see what it would be like if the Allies had lost World War II. That one will also be ridiculously long.
