Ellandra blinked at the suggestion - and would have balked had he not seemed sincerely worried for her, rather than trying to - well, no need to bring that thought up, especially when it wasn't the case. She opened her mouth, then closed it again, unsure of how to respond - but she did relax a little when the fortune-teller surprisingly mirrored her usual nervous habit. She hadn't guessed him to be the type to chew his lip!

"I - I w-wouldn't want you to - to be uncomfortable," she said hesitantly, and paused for a very long moment while she thought over the decision she was about to make. If she did this - if she did, no matter what happened, she would be taking a very, very big risk. But, perhaps, no bigger a risk than the one she would be taking should she try to find her way home in the night. While she thought, her fingers found the pendant of the necklace she had been given earlier, and she fidgeted with it. The small stone was oddly comforting to feel in her hands.

Well, then. Perhaps it would bring good luck after all. "Would - would you m-mind very much b-being m-made to s-sleep on y-your t-tent floor?" She asked, not daring to meet his eyes. "B-because I - I think I w-would. . . f-feel safer in - in a s-strange place if - if I w-wasn't c-completely a-alone. . ."

Her lips quirked then, into a slightly odd smile.

"And - I d-doubt Ziazan would be - be willingly parted from you, even for - for a night; n-nor would it make a - a very good protector, being m-meant for other - other p-purposes."

Ellandra shook her head a little, allowing a true smile to steal its way across her face. "N-no thank you . . . I ate before I l-left my apartment earlier," she confessed. "I d-do hope your things haven't - haven't gotten out of o-order." It would be a problem if Ziazan had managed to entangle itself in a bunch of scarves again. If it did that regularly, it might very well wind up in a colorful knot someday - one that it wouldn't find very comfortable!
