"We landed on a large plateu on the west coast of the contenint" Dimitri said. "The closest ship is located alittle to the north of here, but we'll have to go through some dense jungle to get to it, or comms got dmamaged so some crewmen are working on it, in the mean time I figured that we should try and find the other ships" He said. Him and the two crewmen with rifles moved to the forest line. Dimitri had remembered seeing pictures from the rover and had thought it looked like the jarassic periord on earth, but since there were no large scale lifeforms there couldn't be any dinosaurs.

"Brilliant." She said stepping over a fallen tree. Max was pretty sure that Captain Dimitri was not her first choice in captains, he just didn't have that captain mentality to him. "How long until we get there?" She asked wondering if she truly did need to go with them or if she should just go back to the ship. There was most likely no violent life forms here and she would be fine just walking back on her own.

"It'll be an hour or two long hike...which is why you should probally go back to the ship, but if you insist on comming then I don't want any complaints or you'll be walking back to the ship, on your own" He said. Dimitri said, still looking into the tree line. He swore he just saw something move, a large mass, his left hand went to his pistol well his right grabbed his sword handle. "I don't think we're alone" Dimitri said, quietly.
Eisen kneeled cloaked on a small cliff over looking the plateu, his rifle rested on his knee. His optics switched to thermal and he could see several insectoid looking creature just off the tree line. Normally insects wouldn't be a problem but these were abit smaller then the other lifeforms that had come from the ship.

Max thought a moment. "If we aren’t alone than I really should come with." She put a hand up to her hair and fluffed it gently. "Let's go say hello." She stepped forward leaving the men behind, and walking towards the trees. Her shoes made a clicking should on the stone under her feet. and her face held a small smile.

Kelly ran back to her quarters quicly and put on her Boots and shot jeans, grabbed her weapon and ran catching up to Dimitri and them. "Hello Captin, sorry it took me so long to catch up." She said,'bt I'm ready to comply and work diligently! 'She said saluteing him.

"Miss Dawn I strongly advise not doing that, we haven't secured the area and until we've set up I'm not allowing anyone past that treeline, Disobey this and you'll be escorted to your quarters and held there until we can get in touch with the other ships" Dimitri said.

Kelly looekd at the 'miss.dawn' in a dismay then looekd at Dimitri,"Uhm, Dimitri, you know , I dont mind hitting women...if it's any help at all, I've hit plenty." she said then stepped away,"Just letting you know. 'She said.

Kathryn hid with her camoflague as she watched the new comers of another race some out. She looekd on, unimpressed highly, but found herself very intested in the men, or what she assumed was male.

"I don't think violence will be nesscary Kelly" Dimitri said. He wasn't a violent person, and he hated unnesscary violence but if it became nesscary he was willing to get violent.

She nodded,"Oh I know, trust me Dimitri sir, violence is always a last solution. I try never to throw the first punch. I'm sujt saying if there's ever nothing else to do and you dont wish a hit a woman. I felt he nee dto tell you in advance. My main goal is to be useful to you at all costs." she said proudly and smiled at him gently.

"Alright then, Miss Dawn, let me and my crew go first, if anything in there turns out to be friendly we'll call you in, but if there hostile get back into the ship and don't open the door" He said. He walked past max into the trees He moved slowly unholistering his pistol and holding it with his left grabbing the handle of his sword with his right. "Is anyone here!?" He said. "We don't want to cause any trouble, we just want to talk" He said, keeping his voice calm. A shreik rang out and Dimitri turned, seeing some sort of insect leap out of a tree at him. The thing was almost as big as he was, it had four legs each ending in a point. It's body was shaped like an upside down pear, it had two sets on mandiables that were opened revealing what liked like some sort of teeth. Dimitri drew his sword slashing at the same time, cutting the creature in two with each peice landing at either side of him. Several more simliar shreiks echoed out. "Everyone back to the ship, NOW!" He yelled, but as he finished three lept from the trees landing behind Kelly, cutting off there escape route to the ship.

Max put a hand to her mouth and stepped forward it was so interesting. And she needed to get a closer look. She stepping into the brush her eyes sparkling with interest. "I'll meet you guys back there..." She said reaching out to touch the almost dead creature laying on the jungle floor. She tilted her head inspecting it's innards.

"You can look later, right now we need to get back to the ship!" Dimitri ordered grabbing her under her arm and pratically dragging her out of the bush. Another insect lept out of the tree, heading at Dimitri and max. A single shot cried out and wized past Dimitri going throught the airborn insect killing it instantly. Who made that shot He thought, still dragging max.
Eisen repostioned his rifle, he still had his optical camo activated but for a breif moment he had been illuminated as the red laser shot out and struk the airborn insectoid. Eisen's indicators started calculating distance and speed of the bullet telling him where to shot at will.

"There's somebody out there." Max said looking towards the direction the shot had come from as she was dragged by the arm away from the jungle and towards the ship. "I want to go see who it is... it could be the other ship." Max knew that who ever it was they were on their side, and so they were an ally. Or she would make them an ally if it came to that. "Let me go see." She asked trying to get him to let her go, he was wrinkling her dress.

"I can tell you right now that shot didn't come from one of our weapons, it was a laser, stuff like that still only exists in Sci-fi books and in the prototype labs" Dimitri said. This girl was really getting on his nerves. He was the captain, she was supposed to listen to him so she could stay alive. "Once we deal with these bugs we'll see who's out there, okay?" He said. He heard a cry of pain and looked over, one of the men he'd brought with him was down, pinned by a leg of a insect. Dimitri let go of max and took his sword in both hand and rushed forword and, cut the creature in two. "It's okay west, your going to be fine, just hang on abit longer" He said, kneeling down by the injured man. "Kelly take care of those bugs, blocking our path! Adam help west up, I'll keep you two covered" He said.
Eisen fored two more shots. How many of these bugs are there? He shot as both his shots hit. He kept aiming and firing, deciding to abandon his optical camo and focused on firing.
