yes appling for college is rough sweatdrop
it was really hard for me to dicide what i wanted to do.
i wanted to go to the school of visual arts in New York
or The Acadamy of Art College in San Fran
and then i was all set to go to the Art Instatute
but my art teach was like AI xp they suck.
they charge waaaay to much for what they give you and
you don't even get a degree for all you do, it's just a certificate
and blah.
then at the same time my paerents were going
thru a nasty Divorce. and the school i ended up at
was just a local state college, but it had a cool japanses
program i wanted to do so i worked out. and now i'm totaly
on a diffrent path than when i started 4 years ago but
now it's a path that can open up tons of new oppertunities for me
later on and give me a chance to expriance all kinds of things ^^
...sorry rambleing ^^;

When I started school, I had no idea what I wanted to do, so I was like, "eh, whatever, I'll live at home and go to the state school" just because I felt like I was wasting money going to another school like Boulder just to go there (any paying for dorms). I didn't think I would get back into art, and I had no interest in Japanese, but it was the summer between my freshman and sophomore year, and I said "Lets go for it!" and I started Japanese and Art the same semester, sadly my school doesn't have a major in Japanese, just a minor, but it's been fun and I like my teachers and classmates.

I do plan on going to Savannah . . . sweatdrop If we can get the money. sweatdrop whee I visited there and it was awesome. Either that or a local college or just go to the community college that's like 15 minutes away and transfer to either Savannah or Ringling's. I do mostly drawings- pencil, charcoal, color pencils and oil pastels (my two favorite mediums), tempura paint, and water colors (though I don't have a lot of experience in paints . . . ). I hate clay . . . x__X; Pottery is the devil. Though I kind of like wire and paper mache . . . to some odd extent. I don't think any colleges have Japanese programs near me. I know there is one school in New Orleans that has a Japanese program but I don't think my parents would let me go (as they are kind of racist and it's mostly afrian americans that attend eek sweatdrop crying gonk stare 3nodding ).

i work at my college's computer center and it stays open til 2am xp
i had to get up at 8 this moring crying
well atleast i'll get to sleep in tomorrow ^^
i only have my evening class at 5pm
but then i have to go back to work at 10 and work til 2am again
grrr. i can't belive they stuck me with two closeing shifts
in a row this quarter stressed

Tsuki Chan Sempai waa! sooo bored gonk i work at my college's computer center and it stays open til 2am xp i had to get up at 8 this moring crying well atleast i'll get to sleep in tomorrow ^^ i only have my evening class at 5pm but then i have to go back to work at 10 and work til 2am again grrr. i can't belive they stuck me with two closeing shifts in a row this quarter stressed That stinks, I had a decent schedual on Mondays and Wednesdays, 11-3, then I decided to monitor the computer lab from 8-10am those days. ugh, so I'm at school from 8-3 every Monday through Thursday (11-3 on friday) and I also want to try to help out with the new "Japan Club" (I have a horrible crush on the president of the club, sweatdrop ) the things I do for upper division credit and for boys.

No but we get 8 minutes between classes and we have 90 minute long classes as well.

I forget you most of you guys are still in highschool or junior high. You have this shift when you start college where suddenly you're only taking 12-18 credit hours a semester so you go from 6 classes a day to maybe 3. So for my first 2 semesters I was at school for maybe 3-4 hours a day, which was quite the change from highschool because I was like you guys in highschool where I was there everyday from 7:30 to 2 or 3. You get used to it, last semester I managed to not have any classes on tuesday or thursday, so yeah, suddenly being there from 8-3 everyday is something i'll have to get used to.

Actually in my high school we only have 4 classes a day, but they're all 90 minutes long.

My classes don't end til 5 xp and some times the teacher keeps us longer. when i was ni high school we got out at 3 too, but then when i was a senor i took classes at the community college after school so some days i wounldn't get out until 8, and for one evening class i got out at 10.
