*skips into the garden*
Okay, all Modists who live in the northern Illinois area? Get your asses over to the Morton Arboretum! I just got back from seeing some of changes they've made and oh my...
Seriously, I'm still drooling from the peek I got of the incredible hedge maze. Bear in mind I went through the world's longest hedge maze with a sprained ankle because I love 'em so much but this one looked so much more beautiful than the ones I tromped through in England. In one part there's a gorgeous staircase that leads up to an elevated platform that surrounds the trunk of one of the trees... heart
The maze isn't open yet but the entire place is just breathtaking. So seriously - go. Go now. They even have a little Ginko Cafe with quality coffee and pastries for god's sake.
*drools on her keyboard*
(I know this isn't chatty but it's a garden thread and the Arboretum has gardens and it's so. ********. cool.)

Nuri wait, I live right near the Mortem Arboretum....when did it get cool? They tore up most of the main stuff... maybe a year or two ago? Since then they've been rebuilding. The new parts are just now opening up. And also, it's got purty trees and gardens but then it had those before. whee

Triste Morningstar Triste grins wickedly, darts over to where Weston sleeps, and swipes the hat from right off his head. Giggling manaically, she skips off to the fountain, swinging the hat back and forth as she prances about. whee Snrrrrk! Weston blinks rapidly at the sunlight assaulting his eyes, then rapidly feels around his head for his hat. Not finding it there, he frantically looks around, crawls around the tree, then begins looking further afield.Triste! The chase is on!

We ought to sponsor our own Jeopardy contestant. It's not like we don't have smart enough people, you know?

Meghan Mitsumi We ought to sponsor our own Jeopardy contestant. It's not like we don't have smart enough people, you know? Lordy. We could just play Trivial Pursuit... Depending on the edition, I'd kick a** only because I've played it so much that I remember the answers. sweatdrop Dad and I played a lot when I was in high school.

Trivial Pursuit is my familys favorite game to play together. When/if I get married, it's going on the registry.

Islington I say we do it(play trivail pursuit that is) or if not we could play the pursuit of a random person. The hard part about playing Trivial Pursuit online is that it's too easy to cheat. xp Not that I don't trust you guys 'n' all...
