Fred smiled. "I would like that. Do you like berries? I can go and collect some of those if you want to do the hunting?" he offered not wanting her to do all the work for the two of them. It did not hurt him to get off his lazy butt once and a while and please or help someone else out.

Sara nodded her head. "Sure thing! I would love that very much." She smiled cheerfully before darting into the bushes and off to find some food for the both of them.

Fred smiles as he watches her race off before he heads towards the bushes. He finds some blueberries and strawberries which he picks at a slow pace so as not to destroy the berries before piling them all on a big leaf and dragging them into the beautiful clearing where he would wait for Sara to finish her hunting.

Sara sniffed the ground for a while before catching scent of a rabbit. She immediately leaped onto it and killed it in an instant. She wiped a paw over her forehead before picking up the scent of a pheasant. "Never hurt to have leftovers." She then ducked down in the bush before pouncing the bird. After hunting for a bit she went back to the area with the rabbit and pheasant over her back. "Here we go."

Fred smiles at her. "You seem to be an excellent hunter." Fred remarked as he noted not one animal but two. "You will make someone a great mate one day." He said this without thinking and wondered what her responce would be to his awkward words.

Sara cocked her head to the side. "Really? Normally other foxes criticized me in my family for being too hard working and said that the male should be the one to take care of the female." She paused a second before dropping the food. "Although I can't seem to do that since I'm used to helping myself and not anyone else." She gasped a bit at the last comment and blushed. "Well I um...erm...." She looked down a bit and off to the distance. "I don't know...I'm too plain colored and not as attractive and I am pretty independent sometimes."

Fred smiled. "But I do not think you are plain colored. And if you are, that just means I am too. So who cares if you are plain colored. You look fine to me. And I do not understand why the males have to be the busy ones. I have nothing wrong with a strong and independent woman. Besides, I like being lazy and I don't see the problem with it most of the time." he laughed, trying to lighten the mood.

Sara smiled a bit. "Really? Well that's nice. Although I really don't mind now since I if you work hard good things will result eventually in the end. It all just depends on how much you want it and are willing to fight for it." She paused for a moment. "However, that is each foxes choice to decide that." Sara shrugged. "Well I like your colors. At least you have another neat design. I'm just blue with a green muzzle and paws."

Fred laughed. "Design? I am not sure I would call this a design. More just blotches of color thrown everywhere. And they are really dark and clashing. You colors work well for you though and makes you very pretty." Fred blushed as he said this, not having meant to say it out loud in front of her.

Sara shook her head. "Well you have stripes on your eyes and your tail is two different colors." She sighed for a second and shook her head. Eventually she caught the second part and she saw him blush. "Thank you and you don't have to worry about saying that stuff in front of me. It actually makes me feel quite good."

Fred smiled at her. "That makes me happy. I like to see you happy and it is nice to watch you smile like that. I hope to see you smile more often now. If you do not mind seeing me again?" Fred asked and wondered if he was asking her on a date? He flushed but didn't care if he could see the pretty fox again.

Sara chuckled a bit. "That's good then." She smiled a bit. "Sure...I actually wouldn't mind and it would be nice since I'm lonely most of the time by myself." Sara lightly pawed at him playfully.

Fred smiled at her. "I do not mind and had a lot of fun until you got hurt. I have no problem hanging out with you again." Fred said. "Just show me what way to go as I do not know where you live. For once I do not mind being active for once."

Sara cocked her head to the side. "I got hurt? Oh that was nothing. I've had rougher things then that." She smiled a bit before lightly giggling. "Alright...this way it is." She then got up before heading back down the mountain. "It's a lot easier to go down then up. That's for sure."

Fred smiled. "You sure are a tough female." he said as he watched her and followed her. "What would you like to do next? Would you like me to get us some lunch or dinner?" For once Fred was offering to work and he thought about that fact with a smile. He couldn't help it around her, he just wanted to please her.
