((sorry about the absence.... "Pippin" opened last night and all before it were dress rehearsals. I've gotten back each night at 11, dead tired... But tomorrow is the last show... I'll be on more now)) The cat seemed ok. He hoped it was ok because if it decided to suddenly not like him now then he was in some deeeep sludge. Mainly because the cat was nestled in his arms in a hallway full of women and men offering him to sell him their bodies for a night. He shudders, feeling unclean suddenly. This whole world was unclean... It had been this way for a decade so why did it suddenly bother him.
He is able to spare a hand to turn the doorknob and slip inside. He gazes at Dyymion briefly then shivers. Hewalks over, setting the calmed cat down in the young man's lap. He smiles, "Bad with strangers, you lied... she's very sweet... shy, but sweet." He shivers again, glancing to the window. He says softly, "Hey... I don't think we can leave tonight.... I'm sorry... The blizzard is getting worse as we speak, I can feel the inbalance in my bones... We just... can't leave.. but its ok, I'll pay your boss more money, we'll sneak out sometime tomorrow in the daytime..." ((oh, by the way, daytime isn't "daytime" as we perceive it, for them its like a perpetual twilight in which the sky is a hazy yellow and nearly dark, the sun isn't visible except as a glow beyond the haze))

".....oh," He couldn't hide the disappointment in his voice. "Ok." Endymion nodded and pushed farther back on the bed, Serene curled up but his chest Purring happily to be near him. The youth stroked the cat's glossy black fur. he felt a yawn coming and tried to stifle it, he had been working for most of the night. He blinked, "So, what do we do until then?" Endymion lay on the bed, curling slightly around the warm furry body of the cat, looking at bit warily at Apollo, He'd been living in Pandora's Box for many years, and the one thing that he learned well is to never let your guard down, even if you know them. He was concerned because Serene didn't seem at all a bit agitated by Apollo's presence, "Serene must like you, she usually growls and hisses at strangers." Endymion pulled up his legs a bit, trying to fend off the sleep which threatened to take him. "Where are you going to go after you get me out?" When the God looked at him. He continued. "...can you take me with you? I don't'.....really have anyplace to go."

Apollo glances back to Dymion, gazing at him for a moment before shruggin his shoulders. He really didn't know any of those answers. It was surprising how timelessness totally took away any sense of fitting in with the worries and cares of the mortals. He had nothing he absolutely needed to do ever, save for making the sun rise and fall. Atleast he still had that job. But he didn't have to eat, didnt technically have to sleep, although he was very tired... he technically could live outside for all he cared, the cold couldn't kill him. He could feel it, but he couldn't die. Maybe that was his downfall. He sighs lightly. He sits down in a chair across from the bed, watching the mortal for a moment. He hadn't spent more than a night with a mortal in so long. He finally says slowly, "I guess you sticking around with me works out for both of us because I have no clue where I'm going either... You'd be amazed at how little motivation immortals have..." He turns his gaze to the window, watching the flurrying snow coming down too hard to see anythign past it. He missed being able to see the moon. He missed having a purpose. It had been this way the whole time he was on earth. Atleast on Olympus he had some purpose... Maybe getting this mortal back on a level where he could function in society would give him some purpose. He smiles lightly, almost sadly before turning his gaze back. "You probably need some sleep, I'll take the couch. I'm sorry about not getting us out tonight... Do you want something to eat or drink? They send so much up to my room that I never eat, you know..." He stands up, moving to the small refridgerator in the kitchenette, glancign back to Endymion.

Endymion barly heard Apollo's last comment. He was asleep in moments. Serene looked up at Apollo from where she lay, tail twiching as she watched him.

Apollo blinks for a moment, then a slow smile spread over his lips. He walks back from the kitchenette, keeping his eyes on Endymion. It was a shame. The young man was very handsome to say the least... But his clothes, the way they hid only the bare minimum and still cothed him in nothing but black... and that skinny frame... Apollo stands beside his bed, watching him sleep. The youth was a product of the time period. Beauty was massacred to some twisted new image of the exotic. Apollo sighs evenly, silent. The young man was all the image of this, but on his own. If only he weren't wearing those ridiculous clothes and.... He blinks, stepping back, his breath catchign in his chest. He turns, feeling his face reddening. Don't think about him like that! his mind was growling you said you'd take care of him, hypocrite! Don't let your stupid desires mess everything up again. He finally turns back to Dymion, grabbing and nearby blanket made of fleece and stuffed with downe feathers. He slid it over the young man's curled up frame, carefully minding the cat that was staring at him almost agitated. He watches the sleeping man for a moment more before creeping silently to the couch and grabbing a nearby woven blanket. He whispers, "good night" before sliding into the grasp of the cushions and snuggling his face as deep as he could into the pillow. He reaches one hand over, pulling down the blinds for the window to shut out the moonlight. Why did this boy make him think of Diana so much?

He was dreaming of her again, the nightly visitor, With her smooth arms and soft lips. She kissed his face gently, tenderly. Endymion sighed in his sleep, reaching up to draw her closer. His hand trailed along her shoulder as he felt her kiss his face. "Who are you?" he asked, as he always did. "...beloved." She'd answer and kiss him again, driving the question from his mind and easing his worries. The dream would usally end when he woke up, but.....something different happened. He dreamt that he was sitting in his father's fields, watching the eastern sky brighten as the sun rose. when the rim of the sun appeared over the horizon, Endymion remembered the simple prayer that was said to greet the sun in the mornings. "Apollo bless our day, under your light we stand. Let your grace shine upon us and forever bless the land."
He blinked, did he say it out loud? for a moment, the youth didn't know if he was awake or not. lifting his head, his still sleep-induced mind was confused, this wasn't his room....where was he? The building sense of panic woke up. "Where?" He sat up, he could tell through the blinds that the day had stared. How long was I asleep? It couldn't have been every long.... He froze then he saw him. "Apollo....??"

Apollo heard the voice of Dymion as the young man woke up. He was standing infront of the window, his shirt long gone, his pants barely hanging at his slightly jutting narrow hips. His hair was mussed up, his face drowsy... but his hand was up against the window, touching the glass with only two soft fingertips. The sun hadn't fully risen yet, but his job was almost done. Just a few more moments and he could release the sun and let it travel its course. It had been this way since the very first time the sun rose and though he didn't drive a chariot any longer, he still manualy got up to lead the sun. It wasn't because he couldn't automatically do it. It was because it was the only responsibility left. He gives Endymion a soft smile, his eyes glowing with something unexplainable, "Thank you.... This morning... You have no idea how much simple words can start of a day.... its been nearly a century since I've felt any prayer.... Thank you..." His smiles widened a little, slightly sleepy, but very much awake. He turns his gaze back to the horizon that was invisible among the skyscrapers and condos. A new day. He sighs a small bit, runnign his other hand through his hair to smooth it a little. He says finally, "Did you sleep well?... I hope you're ready to get out of here today because I certainly am..."

Endymion felt an unexpected flush of warmth. He had been watching Apollo with fascination. He knew what he was doing and didn't want to interrupt him. The Sun-god's gentle words struck a cord in him, no-one had ever thank him for anything....much less....Endymion felt his face grow warm. oh gods, was he blushing? Tearing his eyes away, the boy slid off the bed and stood up, he straightened out his clothes and picked up the cat to hide his face. " I...I am ready, I don't want to stay here any longer then I have too...." He stopped and looked out the window. " Apollo?......no matter how many times I see it, it's still amazing."

Apollo heard the young man's comment and smiled a small bit, his eyes caught, focused at the horizon. he finally says in barely over a whisper, "I know exactly what you mean..." The sun had cleared the horizon now and the light was shining in a large bright ray through the window. It was right at teh point before it would slide up into the haze to stay hidden for the rest of the day until sunset. Altast he could still see the setting and rising clearly. He turns, surprised to see Endymion so close that he nearly stumbled. He glances to the cat, smiling a little awkwardly. Sooo... What do you say to the first mortal to ever know you are a god in the past century right after you've raised the sun.... There weren't any words coming to mind. He finally settles for a small knowing look before sweeping past to the closet. He pulls out a shirt and a pair of jeans and lays them on the bed. He looks back to his guest, "Umm... here, you can put some new clothes on and I'll get you a coat before we leave. I guess I'll leave you alone to change while I get you some food unless there is anything else you need..."

He had been watching Apollo... privately admireing the God's body. There was a part of him that wished that he could look like him. As his eyes went over the Apollo's pale skin, the slight blush earlier bruned warmer as an strange thought went through his mind. Endymion felt the cat tense up in his arms, perhaps he should say something "Anything to eat is fine." Endymion smiled warmly, putting the cat down and started to strip down to change. Activity at least brought his mind back from past. and off of Apollo for the moment. "I'm not that hungery anyways. but I'd like something to drink." He said as he sat on the bed shoving his feet into the pair of jeans.

Apollo turns back to look towards teh youth and stops, his heart pounding suddenly very rapidly. He backs up towards teh door, swallowing hard. Did the young man know he was stil in the room? A slight shiver runs through him and something starts to burn in the pit of his stomach. He had to know that the god was still here, he was still addressing him. His eyes lingered on the youth's body for a moment before ripping themselves away. He only manages to squeak out, "Ok..." before he was taking long strides to the door. Ok he thought this is stupid... I'm a god, for Olympus' sake! He's just a human... or is he? He glances back, seeing the boy moving, the pale slender back currently facing him, but even just seing his back was enough to give him a shiver, of course he's a human, 'Pollo, snap out of it... he does have the body of a god though.... even better than Adonis... jeez, snap out of it.He smiles a little bit, regaining his composure as he was often so quick to do. He says smoothly, "You'll be hungry later, I'll grab you sometihng.... I'll be back in a minute..." he quickly slips out the door, trying to calm himself down. Why was the boy's beauty just surprising him this morning?

He didn't notice Apollo's discomfort. Endymion was just to used to undressing in front of others he didn't think about if he would object.
"ok"
He paused at the word, wondering at tone of voice he'd used. He then resumed to stand and pull up the pants around his slender hips. He had his back to the God, but....he could almost feel him looking at him. The feeling was a little disconcerting, but when he heard the door close, he breathed easier. Pulling on the shirt, Endymion remembered how Apollo had looked standing by the window, His face was a mask of concentration his body, still and finely sculpted,.....like the marble statue he'd seen, but living flesh and blood. The boy felt an odd flutter in stomach and he tried to push the image away. It wouldn't be seemly to have this kind of feeling towards Apollo, He is a God after all.

Apollo had returned in only a few minutes, rapping at the door lightly as a soft warning of his entrance before he opened the door. He slid inside with a brown paper bag in one hand and two cups of coffee in the other. He hands the young man the bag and one of the cups of coffee, "Hey... I hope you don't mind... I don't think they seel anything along the lines of juices or milk at a bar.... I hope coffee's ok..." He smiles a little, his icey eyes seeming a bit warmer, like the sun over snow, stll cold but warming up. He breezes past the youth to the closet, quickly getting out a trench coat that was very dark grey, almost black, and very long. He places it on the bed, "Here... You and I are about the stame size, save one or two inches.... Its going to be freezing out this morning..." He takes out the very few oufits from teh closet and packs them in his guitar case, then strap the lyre case to the guitar casefor one baggage. He lifts it and smiles, "Now getting out of here will be.... interesting... I'm going to have to... sneak you out... in song.... I can play a tune that will put them all in a trance down on the dance floor as long as you cover you ears and don't look at me, you can get out unaffected.... but... well..... you'll just have to get out as fast as possible... Or you'll get trapped subconsciously by any early arrival down there...."

"Al-alright." Endymion took a moment to eat the sandwich that was in the paper bag and to carefully gulp down the cup of hot coffee. He then pulled the coat on and stuffed Serene into one of the large pockets, she mewled and wiggled, but when he put a hand in to still her she stopped and settled down. "I'm ready."
Endymion followed Apollo to the elevator, while business slowed down in the mornings he could still hear the music coming form the lower levels. The doors opened and at a nod from Apollo, the boy put both hands over his ears as the God drifted his fingers over the lyre. Keeping his eyes to the floor. Endymion's feet took him to the front entrance, half expecting the morning bouncers to grab him as he walked out the door. Several times he had brushed against others trying to hurry, but they didn't seem to notice him, Apollo's spell was working.
He breathed a sigh of relief when they were out the door, but Apollo walked quickly, leading the youth down an ally way and then down a street to another ally. Only when he was sure that he was far enough, did Endymion stop and uncovered his ears. It was snowing a little, but he didn't care, he was free.... "At last." he murmured, tilting his head up, feeling the cold flakes melt on his face.

Apollo had a good reason for telling the boy to get out of the mess of enchanted people quickly. When he stumbled out, his clothes were ripped and torn at, his shirt halfway hanging off. But he didn't say a word to Endymion as he quickly led him away, down the street. He was panting lightly, nothing big, andhe walked briskly, very briskly. In act, he was still walking when the young man behind him stopped and said something. But he stopped soon after, turning and watching the young man, unable to do anything but stare. The snow was drifting little stars of white into his silky black tresses. He could see the winds stirring his hair a bit to tumble lightly, but still peacefuly as the snow drifted to that angellic face and soft lips. Apollo blinks for a moment, feeling his face spreading with a quick redness. He could feel the heat of the song lingereing, the spell had been strong, he didn't want the youth to get caught. Little did Endymion know that in the club they had just escaped from, the occupants were ripping each other's clothes off on the dances floor and taking each other. Apollo swallows hard. The spell was tryingto get him to do the same.... But he didnt recognize one thing, the beauty of this boy was effect of a spell... But the effect it was having on Apollo's body was. It took all his willpower not to turn around and get those stupid clothes off him and... No, Apollo convinced himself to not think on that... The last thing Endymion needed now was to get jumped by a person he trusted. Especially when Apollo valued that trust so much more than he could ever think of reasons for. He walks even brisker, whimpering, "Come on...." He digs his hands into his pocket, hopingthat his total lack of warm clothing would help to cool him down...
