well it turned out good.. a little too much moisture though. Most recipes I see call for putting the filling in and baking them together... I think next time I do it, I'll drain the tomatoes upside down on paper towels for longer and bake them a little seperately, just to get rid of some of the water... maybe doing the stuffing seperately for a time would work better also. <3

Mine were stuffed with rice.

I don't think there's really a way to cook stuffed bell peppers properly. I've seen so many different recipes. The first time I tried stuffed bell peppers was when they were stuffed with tuna with bread crumbs on top. Then my brother's wife made them awhile back and she stuffed them with hamburger meat, and I think she might have added some chopped veggies and cheese as well. The only thing is, I never got to try them. She placed them in a plexi glass pan and I guess she didn't see that there was a crack and the heat warmed it up and shattered it. We had to throw them away cuz we didn't want to eat shards of glass and chop up our insides...

i like my bell peppers either grilled or sliced, and then put on a sandwich! xd or chopped and thrown into chille or pasta. 3nodding stuffed peppers are GREAT but stuffed noddles are better! mrgreen

My mother made them a few times in sort of a cassarole dish which I loved and then never made them again... crying

Stuffed anything is pretty much good. I think the best thing I've ever had was unagi stuffed with toasted sesame paste, kombu and some spies. I'm a Japanese/Thai food addict, not so much into Chinese.
And dude... has anyone ever had tempura cheesecake? It was seriously the most amazing dessert. I need to find a recipe; Reid and I had it at a sushi restaurant in Detroit.

Dude, I would not live in a world without cheesecake. I don't have it very often... but still... O_O Cheesecake and sushi... essentials to Livi survival :C
