Elliot gripped her hand tightly but with a little gentleness in it. His bangs was covering his right eye making his accursed left eye visible. "At least let me come with you." He said sincerely. He did not answered Mashiro's question.

Mashiro winced as he squeezed her hand. "Yagara-san..." she said. She shook her head violently. "It's dangerous! Just go home!" she cried, irritated that he would not listen.

"No." He said, his eye was staring at her sincerely. "Let me come with you" he added... "If you go ahead, I'll follow you. I need some explanation." He released Mashiro's wrist. "I'm sorry..." he apologized, covering his left eye.

Mashiro's expression softened. She shook her head again. "I can't let you come with me. There are creatures that would kill you without a second thought, I don't know if I'd be able to protect you. Please just go home!" she emphasized the last words. She like Elliot, he was someone she knew might become her friend, and she didn't want him in danger. So, her voice came across as angry.

"I've been long dead since that masked creature attacked me, cursing my left eye, please let me come with you..." he begged, lowering his hand his voice was quivering. "Then don't protect me, don't think about me, imagine I'm not there. Let me come." he demanded.

Mashiro said nothing for a long while, her gaze was directed at the ground. It took her a bit to find her voice. "You're not dead." she said firmly. "Not." she paused. "Cursed, possibly." she stared hard at him, brown eyes serious and slightly upset. "Why do you insist on coming?! Why can't you just go home?!" she cried.

"I need an explanation!" his voiced raised, he did not mean to scare her. "I'll be fine, trust me." he said, he ran ahead. He can feel the hollow's coming.

Sasuke had been sitting in his office when he heard the announcement made by Tomino Yukari. "WHAT!?!? Ugh, dammit all. I've been caught up so much in my work I hadn't noticed whats been going on. Those damn hollows are at it again. Now Aizen has apparently turned Mayuri. I wonder what happened to Urahara?" Sasuke pounded his fist on the dest cracking it some. "Kenshin get ready, we are heading to Karakura town. NOW" He threw his haori own and grabbed his zanpakuto, leaving in an instan using shunpo.

Kenshin was in the middle of filing so reports. He quickly stood up trying to ready himself."Yes sir, just give me a minute. Why the rush? I'm pretty sure every other captain can handle this situation." Kenshin was turned away from Sasuke at the time. "I bet by the time we get there there will be nothing left for us. By the way, why do you get so upset anytime something with hollows is mentioned?" Kenshin turned around only to notice that his Captain was obviosly long gone. "OH NO!!! Crap. OK I got his spiritual pressure. Man he really can move." Kenshin flashed stepped away in pursuit of Sasuke.

Yukari was in her office and screaed. "Damn it all!" She frowned. "This is getting out of hand. Kuroi got hurt. And Aizen is moving quickly and were seeing defects too often." She closed her eyes and calmed down. "I'll wait for my orders." She ahd been holding in all her frustration. And now she wasn't.

Sasuke went as fast as he can. As he was going he heard a loud yell. "What was that? Hell with the things going on I guess I should check and see if someone needs help here. Kenshin, we are going to check something out first follow me." With that he changed directions, heading towards the yell.

Kenshin had just caught up with Sasuke just in time to hear his orders. "Yes taichou sir. I believe it came from one of the divisions main buildings in that direction." He pointed towards an area directing Sasuke to run.

Yukari sighed softly. "Maybe shouting was a bad idea....." She muttered and leaned agaisnt the wall. She rubbed the sides of her head. She was frustrated and tired. She took a few deep breaths.

As they flash stepped they came to the fifth division. "There that must be where it came from. Maybe we should ask Yukari taichou if she heard anything.
