I'm saving up to have a nice fund amount set aside to get some of the pride members (like the sultana, and maybe a kajira and such) to contest off, and we'll probably pick a few from people's concept entries as well come the May custom madness.

Personality: Sjokolade, Kola, is very rebellious. She hates being a slave but she feels that she will be able to get herself out after she becomes more trusted. After a few whacks she is willing to follow through male’s orders. She especially will not obey/ listen to her brother's Banu, she cannot stand his high birth and rank and the females he surrounds himself with. She secretly wishes that a male would make her his Beybanu, but with her rebellious history it seems that none will have her. Back-story: (Please don't write a book XD) Kola was one of the daughters that the sultan had. When she was an adol she figured out her fate and ran away. As punishment for her desertion, she was forced to become a Kajira and do whatever anyone asked. She has tried 1 time after that to get away, but she was caught and beaten again. She's grown used to her situation, and is slowly becoming more willing to perform duties. She has yet to befriend anyone who would deal with her attitude. Appearance: Sjokolade

im just curious if any cubs could leave the pride, namely girls. i figure the boys could leave when they get old enough

Female cubs cannot leave the pride. If a male does not want to keep them, he can trade/sell them or give them away at birth.
Males are welcomed to leave if they wish, though any acts of betrayal against the pride (Notifying the prides of kidnapped females, stealing females and fleeing, etc.) will be met by tracking the offending male down and making an example of him.
Roxy and I will be discussing what leaving males may take with them (Females/Cubs).

Roxy males wouldnt get to keep any females, if they leave in peace they would leave their females to other males (friends family etc) if they left non-peacefully the other males would attack and claim the females for their own (divvy up the spoils of war) and any unwilling females (or females still loyal to the rogue male) would become kajira (or in extreme cases killed)

We're still open to any suggestions on a cert background.
The pride migrated from the desert into the forest (light forest) if that helps any, and their bordered by the lake.

I understand that the cubs are not to leave, but since Kola keeps running away, (I came up with this at 2 am) What if when she ran away, she was pregnant, and she kept like 1-2 females cubs from those hunting her but like the rest got caught? Like she hid the two and then was taken back to the pride with the other bubs that she couldn't hide?

It IS possible Carmel, but if she was running away that much, I have to say the males wouldn't hesitate to kill her before she could set too bad an example for the other females. Plus her Pad would probably search very carefully since females are like currency, and if you lost 2 $100 dollar bills you wouldn't just be happy to take your $300 and say forget the other two. XD

Lady Mercy Don't have a character yet who'd fit, but interested for sure =) Same my males are all fluffballs. But when I commish one of the cubs from my first litter I'd definatly put him in here <3
