"Yes I'm ready to go, although I wish he hadn't taken the Espada's zanpaku-to, I was hoping to urgh...keep it." He said as he doubled over in pain and coughed up even more blood.

Standing in his office with his haori hanging on a hook the captain pulled the zanpakuto from its sheath. Strange markings ran up and down its blade to form some kind of words. He then began to study them, next to the theath on the table was the shred of Haori Kagaya had dropped before he had left. "Antonio Grantz" The captain said as he put the katana down on the table then took a seat waiting fr his lieutenant to enter the room. He had let his hair down and his bare feet would lay to rest on the cold wood floor. Though the captain felt stress, his office was the one place where he could loosen up and pretend everything was going to be alright.

She appeared in her Captain's office. She walked to approach him but tripped, she fell on the floor. "Ahh-!" she exclaimed. She's letting her clumsy side take place. She was in her chibi form as swirls substituted her eyes. "ow..ow...ow..." she murmured. She knew that it wasn't time for comic relief. She stood up as if nothing happened, then grinned sheepishly at Renji. "Yes Taichou?"

A rolled up hot towel came to reston the forhead of Renji, it was soothing to him and helped him keep what was left of his cool. His eyes opened slowly and he took a deep breath. "Everything's turning to s**t eh?" He said looking over to her, His eyes not all the way open. He always talked to her as if she was a friend frist and not just his lieutenant. He reached his hand into the bowl of water and pulled out another towel and tossed it to Akino and pointed to the open seat across from the desk.
With a sigh he began his short rant." I have no idea what to do, I love the gotei but I will not be the one to save it. I was never a good hero ...Kurosaki.." His eyes closed tightly holding everything back. Renji was never a real emotional man. Infact he did not show any respect for those he had known who shoed a hint of it. A gift from his former captain. "Will you stay by me when I need you Akino Chan. Even when the times becme hard? You are the one who will take my seat in the end you know." He spoke of death as if it was seen in his future.

he shunpo'd back to the gate, having escorted kagaya to squad four* I didnt like the feel of the nest. something strange...not reiatsu... but.. it made me sick to the stomach." he said to himself, walking back towards the nest*

She looked at Renji with awe. She sat down, catching the towel. "Taichou..." She said in a worried voice. "Everything became shitty...'again'" she emphasized. She placed the towel on the table, then stood up. "Don't talk as if you'll die tomorrow and I have to carry your unfinished burden."She walked to the table where a tea pot at two tea cups were placed. She was good in making tea and somehow people loved it for her tea gave them a calm feeling. She wondered if it will work with the captain. She made tea, pouring it in the tea cups. He served him tea. "I'll always be at your side, Taichou." She smield sweetly, placing the tea cup in front of him. "Why don't you calm yourself down by drinking tea, you need a rest." She said in her sweetest and soft voice.

At the end of the dark tunnel, his black tabi made contact with the white sands most common in Hueco Mundo. As the dark-haired arrancar looked up into the sky, he saw the ever-present crescent moon hanging in the black sky. And before him lay the dome of Las Noches... or at least the new Las Noches. The dome had been wiped out by that fateful battle so many years ago, in the time of their ruler, Aizen.
But now after so long the dome had been rebuilt with the help of his comrades... his family.
"Home..." He whispered to himself, as he made his way to the entry-way, taking the long-winding staircase up to his large gate.
Entering into the dome, the door closed behind with a resounding clang, the area he was now standing in being the great hall. He would start out, striding toward the end of the hall, which was connected to many different areas and facilities within the dome.
Occasionally, he would pass by some of the new recruits, arrancar that had only just removed their masks and were getting used to this new setting. They would nervously try to show their respect and he would chuckle and smile, before sending them back on their way.
Yes, this was home and in a sense, all of whom lived within the walls of Las Noches were a part of his family. This was what he was fighting for. He would make sure that his children would remain permanent additions to this world...
And would cut down any, who would wish otherwise. His grip on his scabbard tightened, his fingers unconsciously drifting closer to the hilt of his sword, at least until he forcibly restrained him.
Approaching his quarters, he stared off into the distance. Watching as some of the younger arrancar would talk amongst themselves as they walked, sometimes laughing, sometimes jeering and sometimes confusing one another with their conversations.
Closing his eyes, he inhaled deeply before exhaling and reopening them to show that the yellow appeared more pronounced and resolute.
Those soul reapers will either come to understand that we arrancar are here to stay... or it is them that shall cease to exist. Was his last thought, before retiring to his room.

he clenched his fist, slamming it with the force of a shoulder launched rocket. the wall shattered under his kidou break. he walked into the cave, one hand on his nodachi*

The two dead shinigami at the enterance of the "Maggots nest" broke like glass. Their pieces fell to the floor and seemed to just faid away, as well as the sign at the top of the cave marking "The Maggots nest". The shinigami had follen into the trap. Within the cave was a hollow by the name of Hakudo Fisher. He was the twin of grand fisher, the very hollow who had killed the shinigami ichigo's mother. Little did the lieutenant know, each step he took was one closer to death.
His hand gripped the cup of tea and lifted it to his mouth. He took a small sip of it and felt a bit more refreshed. His eyes opened to look at the zanpakuto on the table between himself and the lieutenat. "This is the zanpakuto of the espada Antonio Grantz. The first arrancer to fall at the hands of a shinigami in 200 years...As well as the first to be seen in 200 years. I'm sorrry if I speak in a depressing tone. You understand what I am going through. The end result will be with my hapyness I guess." His eyes shift to hers as he takes another long sip."Thanks for the tea."

the ominous feeling of the cave weighed down on him, he wanted to leave in the worst way, but with his training as a shinigami, he swallowed the fear. it was strangely empty as his foot steps echoed off the walls.*

Seething red eyes open as the hollow smells and feels the shinigamis presence. He had been asleep for many years and it was time for food. He crawled back into the shadow of the cave to watch out for the shinigami and his first meal.
