((I'm such a dummy ;_; ))
"Here we go Makie" Oliver said with a smile as she placed her hands around his arm, he slowly trugded towards the door to the dance and pulled the handle, he gulped down a little and silently, he was kind of nervous. This was his first dance, and not until last night when Ai told him what a dance was, he was kind of nervous ever since. Thats why he took so much care into making his costume with a little help from Ai here and there, but he mainly made this for the Holloween dance not for trick-or-treating.
When he got inside, he took a few steps inside not let going Makies presence, he looked around in awe. They really did well in decorating the dance floor and such, and there was signs to the gardens, haunted house, and the roof. He saw a DJ and the food area, and some other random stuff. A huge cat-like smile crawled onto his face as he looked back at Makie, his attention now back to her.
"What do you want to do?" he asked in a rather loud voice. Not even knowing that Ai and Misty were spying on them. He doesn't really notice the small details around him.
***
A few minutes before Oliver made his entrance Ai heard the voice of Misty. She said something about Makie and Oliver heading towards the door, with a huge surprised look and frightened one also, she ran over towards where Misty was hiding. But, where Misty was hiding was bit too far and Ai wouldn't make it, so Ai did what she could only do. She swiftly opened her angelic wings and flew in high speed over to where Misty was, hopefully no one saw her angelic wings.
SHe made it in time, by the time she got back to Misty's side Oliver and Makie were inside plus Ai was out of breath as she folded her angelic wings away, hopefully for the rest of the night. She looked at Misty with a reassuring smile and a small 'heh.'

"Y-Yup.." Makie said, half scared. She went to a couple of dances before. When she was in Junior High. She didn't like them though, they didn't go over so great and she was always in the corner. So, at the moment, this felt like a real dance. It seemed as though every dance that Makie went to, and spent in the corner, was all just practice. Besides, High school dances are way different then any Junior High dance or any Elementary dance.
Of course she was scared, but like every one else she was excited. Makie was scared because, well, one she was with some one she liked, what if she messed up? Another reason is... She never danced with some one before. The brunette did gymnastic routines by herself, she even did some dances in her free time alone. However, she never learned to dance. Makie has only watched boys and girls danced. They always seemed so happy when they with another.
The small girl was excited for many reasons though. Maybe tonight she might be able to dance with some one and have a good time. She was also excited because she had gotten ready and was dressed up in her own costume. The brunette even feathered the ends of her hair just for this too. Her hair was a little wavy too, you could she definatly wanted everything perfect for this moment.
The moment Makie entered the room, she was nearly blown away by the booming music. She could see the speakers shaking from the terribly loud volume it was on. The next thing she noticed was the Halloween decorations, followed by the ammount of people in their costumes and finally the DJ. Makie would have covered her sensitive ears, but instead she grinned and went on.
Her attention was immidiatly turned to Oliver when he spoke. Such a pure child like voice with a very faint french accent. Whenever Makie saw him infront of crowds or the fangirls reading out something he'd speak in a french accent. Which led Makie to believe that French may just be the language of romance. The only problem was she never understood any word of french that came ot of his mouth.
"Uh..." Makie said, unsure of what she should do. It might seem obvious to go dance, but others just look for their friends or buy food right away. A sudden song change caught her attention. A foreign voice came over the speakers, causing her chocolate eyes to widen.
'Maia Hii, Maia Hu, Maia Ha, Maia Haha.'
There was a fast tempo beat in the backround of the song. It made Makie want to dance which just decided her choice. Even though she wasn't sure what the song was actually saying, she enjoyed foreign songs. She turned back to Oliver, letting a little of her personality show. "Let's dance!" The words came from her mouth as she let her hand, take his into hers. She led him through the crowd, a smile shining through her dance. Normally it would be Oliver who would be leading her, but this time it was Makie.
Soon, she came to a spot, near the front, but a little in the middle of the large room. There was a small circle between groups of people who were dancing together singing out the lyrics. The brunette let go of Oliver's hand and turned around to face him.
"Alright, time to dance!" She announced happily, as she began to get in her dancing groove.
***
Not removing her deep blue eyes from her little friend, Misty watched as she tried to pick up what they were saying. It was then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw Sakura flying with her wings. IT was hard to tell what the dark haired girl thought of this act. Sure, it was smart thinking to use them to get over here, but she could have exposed herself! A soft sigh came from her lips as Misty turned her attention back to Makie and Oliver.
"Nice." A tone of mixed emotions could be heard from that word. Soon, a song change followed by Makie's personality change made her chuckle slightly. The dark haired girl was always supporting her smaller friend. In a short time, she also learned that the brunette could be a happy and hyper instead of a shy girl. Misty also knew how Makie loved to dnce no matter how stupid she looked. The small teenager also never showed any boy her hyper side, it was almost impossible. She must have been caught up in the mood.
The good thing now, was that the punch bowl was close to where the little couple went off to. Mist smirked as she poured herself a bit of bunch. It was kind of hard to tell what color it was though, because the lights above kept changing. Taking a sip, she leaned back against the table, her long midnight blue hair rest on the table. Tonight, and for tonight only, her hair was down which reached all the way down to her knees. Sure that was rude to leave loose hair on the table, but it was only her and Sakura there at the moment.
"This should be good." Misty said simply with interest after a sip of the punch.

She smiled happily, running up and hugging Kai around the waist... reaching her arms up slightly. "Naaah... I wasn't waitin' around long.. And besides, dancing to what you know is very much fun..." Keila nodded and smiled happily, staring up at him while swaying her head back and forth. "So... how are you? And what do you think we shall do next?" She jumped up slightly as the music changed again. "I've heard this song on a radio....." Craning her neck wwaaay up to stare into his eyes, she smiled. "So.. can you teach me to dance?"

Lily smiled "To our new start." She raised her glass and lightly tapped it agianst Darius's glass before putting the glass to her lips and slowly drinking about half the glass. She licked her lips and laughed "This is really good.....Hey Would you like to go to the Haunted House??" Lily was wired and alive and ready for some excitment.

Darius drank the glass quickly and quietly. He then placed the empty glass on the counter and smiled.
"The haunted house huh?" he looked at the haunted house entrance, it didn't look so bad, there were fake cobwebs and a few rubber bats, "It doesn't look so scary. Lets go!"
He knew that he probably wouldn't be scared, but he held Lily closely, she needed someone to watch over her, he wasn't worried...

Lily smiled. "Yes!" She quickly chugged the rest of her drink, grabbed Darius's hand and sauntered across the dance floor straight to the enterance marked with a big orange and black sign that said 'Haunated House' "You ready?" She asked as they stood at the entry way.

Tiffany noticed that everyone had dispersed, all except Joy. She noticed that between the three of her friends, there was deep tension between all of them, especially Joy. She couldnt help but wonder if they were keeping a secret from her. Tiff wanted to ask Joy what was bothering her, but she decided not too, just in case if it was something personal.
Of course Tiff herself was holding a secret that her friends didnt know about as well, not even Kiyowa knew about what Tiff was doing.
Hhhmm, I can definately feel deep tension in this dance hall...how interesting...
With a sigh Tiff looked at her hands then back at Joy. She smiled, hoping that it would ease the tension away. However, the smile wasnt enough to ease away her own tension.
"Wow, is it hot in here or is it just me!!" Tiff jumped out of her seat and started to fan herself. The strange thing about this was that Tiff was barely wearing anything on in the first place...so why would she feel so hot all of a sudden? Feeling like she needed some fresh air, Tiff politely bowed to Joy and hugged her.
"Sorry, but I need some air...maybe we can talk later...please forgive me.." With one final bow Tiff ran off to the nearest door and walked out of the dance hall. She felt bad for leaving her friend so quickly, but she needed to clear her mind.
"The rooftop should be the safest place...I cant let anyone see...but still...is this the right thing for me to do?...and Joy and the crew...Is it right for me to abandon them...Forgive me, I have no choice."
Without a thoughts hesistation, Tiff hurried to the rooftop, making sure no one would see her...

"Yeah!! Dancing is a great idea!!!" Oliver exclaimed as he raised his arms up and swayed them around, then he grasped Makies hand and started to dance with her in the groove. Sure, if Oliver was a normal highschool guy it would of been akward to see a guy swaying his arms around in a childish way. But Oliver wasn't any just highschool guy, Oliver looks and acts like a child, but sometimes he wished he could tell Makie his past, but he'll tell her one day, just not here.
As the music's beat moved faster, he danced smoothly through the rythms like he knew the dance to the song although he doesn't. Just last night, Sakura Ai was teaching how to dance but Feena was his dancing partner, it was tough because Feena kept on snarling at Oliver's every mistake. How Ai and Feena know how to dance he doesn't know, but he kind of like the sport. Maybe he could be a professional dancer?
He suddenly got a glimpse of Misty, Makie's older friend, and Sakura Ai, his older sister, yet they had a different mother but the same father. He quickly smiled as he saw a bright smile on Ai's face and resumed his attention back towards Makie, pretending he didn't see them at all.
****
A soft sigh escaped Ai's lips, she knew that was close but she didn't know it was THAT close for her secret to revealed. Yes, she revealed to some people, but that was because she thought they had a right to know. But the true reason was because she trusted them so much, but sometimes she wondered. Why can't everyone know her secret since secrets are ment to be told? Because there is dangers out there that could harm her, and her friends don't want that.
Ai rubbed her forehead as she got a little headache, her other hand grasped for a cup of punch and she took a deep sip, she doesn't know why. But she sudden;y feels sick to her stomach, she looked over at Misty who was smiling at the couple, Oliver and Makie from afar. Ai placed a faint smile on her face as she placed her cup on the table.
"Misty, i'm going to the Haunted house for a walk" she said swiftly in a soft tone of voice, not even asking for Misty to come, just leaving many paths for Misty to choose. And before she could respond, Ai had already left.

Scytheress stepped into the dance hall, her boots tapping unheard on the hard floor as she walked. She seemed right at home in the room and her current attire. Scythe wore a long dress, or what appeared to be one at least as it split into an open skirt at her hips. There were two black bands around her neck with a pair of thin straps trailing from the lower band to the top of the bodice. The dress hugged every curve and through a jagged hole from just below her breasts to beneath her navel was seen soft pale skin. The fabric then came together for a brief length before opening to the flowing slitted skirt. The slit revealed her legs entirely but for the area covered by a pair of tight black shorts and her high boots that came up high on her shins and were laced with a deep blue satin thread that matched the color of the hem along the bottom of the dress and the long gap up the skirt. The blue was mirrored in her eyes and the lapis lazuli ear rings that studded her right ear. Jewels of the same tapered from a tiara wrap about her head, a slighly larger gem falling on her forehead. But perhaps the most change in her appearance came from her ears and tail. The normal red fur was dyed a deep blue like the other accents in her out fit to complete the blue-black ensemble. And in her simple yet elegant sorceress 'costume' she stood just to the side of the entrance now and waited.

Light footsteps followed in Scythe, as a man stepped casually into the Dance area, the shadows at his feet seeming to part as his boots stepped firmyly behind Scy. he stopped, stading next to her in a picturesque pose, his outfit to die for. Dante wore a cashmire black shirt, as soft as rose petals, and a crimson tie that seemed to slit the wrist of the darkness in the room with a flash of color. His hair was placed neatly on his head, the thick ivory locks parted and clean, and his glasses glinted in what light there was. Red pants and black boots finished his attire, but he wasnt done yet making himself a literal seductress. The top three buttons of his shirt were opened, revealing his sexy and toned upper torso, and his tie was slightly undone, giving him a rugged and sexy look as he fingered his hair from his eyes, his fingerless gloves waining with leather as he smiled, leaning over towards Scy and whispering. And this is what YOU wanted...remember that. He grinned slyl, his smile seemed brighter for some reason as his necklace bounced lightly under the tie. He slowly slid his fingertips down Scy's arm, taking her hand in his and interlacing their fingers together. Come on kid...

Scytheress took a moment to take in Dante's appearance and let out a playful purr as he spoke. He looked quite stunning with his unrefined outfit, the open-chested shirt and ruffled tie giving him more of a bad-boy quality that Scytheress liked. She smirked as he spoke and gripped his hand in return. It was...odd though, to hold his hand at all. Even just the close proximity was slightly unsettling for the girl who'd had no comforting contact since before she could remember. But hearing him use such as casual term for her as 'kid' made her more at ease so that her light smirk never faltered and she was willing to follow wherever he may lead.

Makie already knew how to dance, especially to fast songs. She could dance all night without a care in the world, that's how she felt. The moment a song played she'd get into the groove. She didn't practice dancing, but her gymnastic routines were sort of like a practice for dance. So, in truth she has danced before, well with ribbons, balls and those pins you see at bowling. Maybe it was a little different though...
However, Makie didn't care, she was having a blast! Her brown hair swaying from side to side as her whole body did. Her chocolate eyes filled with bursting joy and energy. It was like all her happy feelings were bottled up until now. Either way, it felt so good to just dance. It felt good to do something without permission or some one evalutating your every move.
Some part of her told her that Makie should stop dancing. Somewhere inside her, she had a fear of something that might go wrong. Yet, that small opinion was buried deep within her, right now she was focused on Oliver and the songs.
Now, she might have noticed Misty and Sakura Ai if they weren't in back of her. Even if she twirled around to the other side she still might have been oblivious. The fact that her crush pretended he didn't see them didn't help her notice them either. Bright lights flashed from above as a smile was spread across her face. Makie's chocolate eyes, or blue, or purple, or whatever color the light might have been flashing on her eyes, was watching Oliver. Where'd he learn to dance? Wherever he was taught, he was a pretty good dancer.
A small chuckle emerged from her lips as she heard the song nearing to the end. Even though the end of the song was near, she didn't stop dancing. "This is definatly one of the best night of my life!" Her child-like voice announced to Oliver. "Thanks so much for making it possible!!"
***
Misty took another sip of her punch as she noticed something about Sakura. It looked as though she was in pain. This did worry her, but her expression didn't change. She listened to Ai, as she was said that she was going to leave. Some part of her told her that she should follw her friend, since she looked sick. Yet, she couldn't leave Makie. It was a tough decision for her, but she's made plenty of difficult choices in her life.
The dark haired girl decided to leave Makie for a bit, since she could rely on Oliver. Her trust was with him for now, but if anything wrong, her trust on him would vanish. Misty regained her unfriendly-ness shortly after the slumber party. It was mianly since she had again re-experianced Makie's 'evil' side. A fight with a best friend was definatly not the best way to stay all happy.
That didn't stop the two from remaining friends, it just made Misty more over-protective then what she already was. Taking one last sip of the punch, she navigated to the Haunted House, where Sakura was going.
***
As the music died down, a smile of relief appeared on Makie's face. Moving some of her strands of hair, she readied herself for the next song. It was another fast song that was a little more quick then the last one. That was okay with her since, again, fast songs were her specialty. Makie's chocolate brown eyes looked over at the DJ, as the DJ's song came over the speakers with a terrible pun.
"Now 'Let's Get Loud' with this song, folks!'
Which was the exact words of the song. 'Let's Get Loud' was the title, and this one really wanted to make her dance. When the lyrics began to shoot out through the room, her feet started to dance. Again, te group nearby Oliver and Makie were shouting out the lyrics again. They were kind of annoying, but the brunette was amazed at their devotion for the songs that were played. She gazed back at Oliver, opening her mouth to say something.
"Ehehehe, a super fast song! Just what the doctor called for!" Makie giggled like a little school girl. It would be a little hard to recognize her a few moments ago when she first came in. A shy, small girl, that suddenly turned into a hyper small kid that's dancing like there was no tomorrow.

Ishoa slowly placed a smile on his face, his Vampire outfit gave him a tall sort of daunting structure of evil on him. Slowly he walked through the crowded dance floor each footstep precise and skillfully threading through the large crowd. Each step he took he quickined his pace, still not bumping into anyone, his smile slowly died down into a frown. His eyes slowly slitted into a glare, he was set on one target, and that was Joy. His cape began to kick up and flap about, soon wind brushed against him violently as he began to pace into a quick sprint.
Finally he was up close twoards the place Joy was, there he grabbed straight onto Joy's head seemingly carfully. Quickly he shoved Joy past everyone and into a nearby hallway. There he pinned Joy against the wall and had his head swung down. "Joy.." Ishoa said while his cape gently swish downwards onto the ground. "I think we need to talk.." He smiled. "But i think we will need a nice and queit place for that." and pointed twoards the stairs twoards the roof.
