Honnie!Bunnie Oh this is my favorite with the baby blanket a very close second. This afghan is my school colors. These were my high school colors too. And University of Michigan (which is huge around here!) But mostly I did it cuz it was the colors of the yarn I had been given by my Papa. It was my Mama's stash of yarn that she worked from before she got too sick to crochet anymore (she passed away a couple years ago) jellysundae eek i LOVE the wedding present throw! that's just lovely!! are patterns like that really complicated and hard to do? sweatdrop THANK YOU SO MUCH! heart Actually not that complicated to do, and it looks like it should have been. The hardest part was doing the fringe. THAT took me all day to finish sweatdrop

it's all so pretty!
i haven't done anymore practicing yet sweatdrop
my Nan was giving me advice on starting of a blanket, telling me in needed to make as short a chain as possible to begin with and things like that. i suppose i should start on somethiing simple until i know what i'm doing rolleyes i can't imagine the mess i shall get in anyway! but i really want to make REALLY pretty things!
first i need to be able to translate the patterns though, the bits that Jaz posted on the Bella website looked like a foreign language to me rofl
maybe i'll do some more and see if i can start off a blanket this weekend, instead of trying to run before i can walk.. rolleyes

It's basically Ebay, but EVERYTHING is handmade.
If nothing else, maybe it will give ideas.. I like just looking at everything!

If nothing else, maybe it will give ideas.. I like just looking at everything!
So many pretty things... like all Jaz's items! oooh! very cool! I took a gander thru some of the crochet items. I can't believe someone's trying to sell a monstrosity of a crochet afghan for $250! Doesn't look like anyone's buying tho lol. Maybe I'll try a couple things after the holidays. who knows!

ohh. .I didn't know this was here.
I crochet. . not very well . .bit I enjoy it.
All winter I make throws to keep around the cold cold house. biggrin
and I have more scarves than I know what to do with right now . .that selling site is pretty neat. . I may have to investigate that.
If I ever finish anything that is 1/ decent this winter I'll have to take some pics and post them here.

I want to pick up tatting again. I learned from my mom when I was a teen, and I made several bookmarks and one coaster-sized flower, but now I've forgotten how to do it and I've lost the shuttles...

Currently I'm trying to learn to knit but it is harder than I thought so I might give it up until after the holidays and just work on my crochet gifts.
