Yugure was running and was getting a good lead on her. He chuckled at her words before calling back, "I think it's you who needs to run. You'll need all the help you can get!" He grinned mischievously and darted off to the side. He began weaving between the trees hoping to shake her off.

"Keep talking big guy! Maybe all the hot air in your head will leak out then!" Giggiling Starla let the teasing tone lace her words as she chased after him. She had no clue whether she'd be able to catch him on her own or not but she would try her hardest that was for sure. Darting between the trees Starla was cautious of her footing, she didn't want another fallen tree incident. Still her speed hardly wavered and she could see the tip of his tail flicking just ahead of her, not out of view yet but almost.

Yugure looked back when he reached a little clearing by a stream. He could barely see Starla as she ran to catch him. He darted into the water and crouched down in a playful position. He'd splash her when she got close.

Growling slightly Starla increased her speed as soon as she caught a glimpse of the stream ahead. If Yugure had gone through it, which if he was smart he would have, she would lose his scent. He would probably disappear and she would never see him again. A pain triggered inside her chest but Starla ignored it as she ran. The edge of the stream had several grasses around it, perfect for hiding prey seeing as it was right on the water it disguised their smell so the hunting helix couldn't find them. But it was only an obstacle to Starla who was much more concerned with getting through them and over the water.

Yugure was slowly growing impatient as it took Starla awhile to get to him. What was taking her so long?! He should be right in sight once she walked past the grass. "Oh Starla! Better hurry before I leave you in the dust!" He taunted still ready to splash her.

Smirking at the yell Starla answered back in the only way she could, sarcasm laced with intellect."You're pride is getting to what little smarts you have. There's no dust here in the East they only thing that can be left in is mud which you'll be eating once I finish you off!" Finally bursting through the ill placed grass Starla missed the mass of blue beta male at first. But a couple minute seconds later she caught sight of him in his playful position and became confused but excited. "You know you're supposed to try to run away in this game Yugure, not stay still and get caught!"

Yugure rolled his eyes. "It's called an expression." He shouted back grinning as she came into view, "Oh I know that. But I thought of something fun to do." He waited until she got closer to him and then swept one of his front paws in the water splashing water up at her.

Getting splashed with water Starla shook herself and dove at the male landing with a splash right beside him spraying water all over. "Two can play that game Yugure!" Darting away from him so as not to get splashed again she laughed lightly smiling. Her eyes danced in playfulness as she gazed at him daring him to try to get her wetter then she already was. He wasn't going to win if she had anything to say about it!

Yugure began darting away when he saw her getting ready to dive at him. He still got splashed and turned making sure his tail and front paws were dragging in the water. Water rose up and flew towards Starla. "Oh yes. Two can play this game." He said with a grin. He noted the distance between them and began running away. After he was a ways away he turned and began running towards her. He'd tackle her into the water.

Getting dosed it water Starla shook herself to keep her fur from weighing her down. Little droplets flew around her and her fur stuck up in tiny spikes around her. Once she was back to focusing on Yugure she noticed him running away and started running slightly at him to try to catch him. She wasn't at all expecting him to turn around and run back and she slowed, wide-eyed. "Yugure if you keep running you're going to..." She didn't even bother finishing her sentence she just took slow steps backward as she waited for the collision.

Yugure grinned mischievously as he leaped towards her. "That's the idea!" He said tackling her and knocking her to the water. He bounced up and grabbed her dragging her up. Didn't want her to drown. "Look at you. All nice and wet." His tail was wagging quickly as he grinned at her.

Yipping slightly as he tackled her Starla struggled slightly as he lifted her out of the currant. Looking at him she huffed out a bit of a laugh at his bounciness, it was cute. Hearing his teasing voice she blushed slightly, what was this guy doing to her?! "Well I do believe I have you to thank for that." Strutting up to Yugure she gave him a blinding smile as she walked right past him and wacked him with her wet tail. Smirking she turned to look at him, challenge written in her eyes.
((Think we should force them to fall in love and get to the puppymaking now? We do have 4 pages of rp already XD))

Yugure's grin grew at her blush. "Yes you should." He said freezing up at her blinding smile. It lit up her entire face and made her look so beautiful. Wait! What was he thinking things like that for?! His eyes grew wide when she slapped him with her wet tail. "Is that your thanks?! I think we need to work on your manners then." He said turning to look at her. The challenge was clearly accepted and could be seen in his eyes.

"Yes that's my thanks. I'm very generous in my thank yous." Smirking she noted that the challenge was accepted. There was no way he could win! "Manners? Says the female who knocked me into the water not more then a few moments ago." Whipping her tail into the water she directed the splash over to Yugure hoping he'd get even wetter then he already wash.
