When I worked by the beach I got pretty tan. My hair lightened up, too. I love natural highlights in my hair!

I know what you mean. An old friend from high school had blonde hair form being at the beach all the time. (his natural color was a medium brown, but all that surfing helped with the blonding process)

I'm a brunette all the way, and way too cheap to pay for highlights. Instead, I rely on chlorine and sun to lighten my hair to more golden hues. Besides, I like the sun! I'm a California girl through and through! whee

I like being in the mountains when it's snowy outside, too, though. That's one thing about Southern California, we get all the best weather experiences! I'm only an hour or two from either the beach or the mountains!

Yeah, you can pretty much do anything in California. Though northern California is a little disappointing. All they have are DEP stations for military peoples and chicks with goatees!

Yeah. I lived in northern California for a while and...wait! What??? Girls with goatees????
PostPosted: Sat Apr 04, 2009 11:32 pm

LOL! There was a chick in Sacramento with a goatee. We tried to have my buddy Jorge hook up with her, not knowing about it. When we found out, we told Jorge she was perfect for him! rofl rofl rofl rofl

That's terrible! Yet so very funny! What did he say to that?

(As a side note, it's funny seeing my topless avi attached to all my old posts!)

At first, he didn't want a her as his girl. By the time he finally did, a few minutes later we found out the horrible truth. We told him "hey, she's perfect for you!" rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl He got sooo angry after that! blaugh

Guys are so mean to each other! I mean, they are mean to their friends. Girls would (usually) only do that to girls they don't like.

First off, I meant to say in the quote that it wasn't that funny for my friend. Goes to show how far gone I am.

We do that to our friends cause we expect them to be able to take it like a man. It's one of those stupid guy things. At least for me, I wouldn't do that to girls because girls generally think differently than guys, and I don't want them to think poorly of me. At the very least, I think there are things you can only say to guys, and things you can only say to girls, and that mixing that up could be disasterous.

It's easier for girls. We already understand what is okay to say to other girls, and guys are usually willing to tolerate whatever we say to them as long as we turn on the charm a little.

EXACTLY! We never know for sure what to say to girls. But if we say the wrong thing to a girl, usually its "oh, f***, we're screwed!"

I can say that most of us are more simple minded, so it's a lot easier to understand us!

And THAT is why I like hanging around guys more than around girls! They are easier to read and easier to understand. Their needs are simpler, too. Give a guy plenty of genuine respect and a good amount of quality attention (plus a good dinner), and they are happy! Then you cuddle up and play video games all night, and everyone is happy! Guys are awesome!
