ScarfaceSpartan To me The Beatles are not the greatest band ever but a great band. My favorite song would be Help, just so catchy. I agree, except on the favourite song part. Mine would have to be "While my Guitar Gently Weeps"

Pryal87 I love the Beatles but without john lennon they most likely would be pop crap You're saying While my guitar gently weeps, Elenor Rigby, Blackbird, Fool on the hill and Savoy truffle are pop crap?

Harvested Sorrow Ultima Squall someone told me that they were a boy band... poor b*****d, I hope those teeth don't cost him much, and I hope the chain wound heals well, too. boy band- band of boys who don't make their own music, only sing. Well, The Beatles pre-Rubber Soul could be considered a boy band, as they were essentially a pop unit then treading paths that had already been tread over before. However, they changed that with Rubber Soul and the albums after it. They were a skiffle band, until they tried to be themselves, rather than everyone else.

Hey! I'm new to the guild and I love The Beatles. They are in the top 5 of my fav. Classic Rock bands.
Has anyone been to Beatle Mania? If so, how was it? I almost got a chance to go, but didn't get to.... sad

I think Ringo is the best. You only say that cause your a drummer yourself... rolleyes

The Beatles are a great band and all, but I just cant seem to love them as much as everyone else does. I like about 5 or 6 of their songs A WHOLE LOT, but thats about it.... neutral

The main thing to put into context is their influence on music. I love them myself, but that's what they're most important for.

The Beatles were the best and they still ARE the best. They will ALWAYS be the best! Forever and ever! I love every single one of their albums. Every single track is my favourite. But I do have more particular favourites like, Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby, Help, Come Together, She Loves You, damn just too many to start naming. heart
