I know about growing up dirt poor... Da is a farmer, and I have seven siblings plus the 4 mom and da took in to raise when the older kids left.

we were poor, but we never knew it. Mom and Da always made sure we had what we needed. Plus, I could listen to anything out in the barn as long as it didn't disturb the animals...

Eponishta we were poor, but we never knew it. Mom and Da always made sure we had what we needed. Plus, I could listen to anything out in the barn as long as it didn't disturb the animals...
But I never cared really. I still don't. I see a lot of people that were poor too like my ex and now they just want a bunch of stuff. For me it taught me that I don't need a bunch of stuff and to be happy just to have a few nice things and my family.
It also taught me how to work hard for the things I want. Which I have. I don't have a lot of awesome things but what I do have I worked my a** off to save up while paying bills and get.
