At some point I'll post my pictures from that... It was insane. We spent the day pretty much just waiting in lines. We got there by 11, got into the mall by 2, and got out of the mall around 5. most of that time was waiting in the line to get into the mall, waiting in the line for the dressing room, and waiting in the line to pay. It was insane. But fun.
I think the highlight of the day, for me, was when we were waiting in the line to pay, and somebody was giving another loli a hard time for wearing a very nice off-brand dress (i believe it was bodyline, though it might not have been), and she was seriously about to make the poor thing cry. She said something about if all the fake-lolita got out of the line, this whole thing would go much faster, and i turned around and said "Lolitest snob" to which she turned on me and said "What would you know, home-sewn loli-wannabe?" To which i said "Yes, i might be hand made and off brand, but at least i know the difference between design ease and wearing ease." (This girl had her BTSSB jsk stretched so much that there was no real shirring left, and it looked horrible.) And then i continued, "But since I can be polite and wait my turn to pay, and i have no interest in starting a fight, i'm going to go back to talking to all these nice lolita waiting in line." And i promptly started a conversation that included people who weren't even wearing lolita, but were buying their first piece that day.
The best part of it was that the lolitest snob got mad that everyone was now ignoring her and walked to the back of the line in a huff. And then one of the girls i was talking to said, rather quietly, but just loud enough that the lolitest heard her, "Did you notice her socks? Those were SO bodyline."
I bought myself a parisole and a headband. I'll have to post the tons of pictures we took that day.
