It was warmer outside today than I expected when I took Amber outside. I noticed my arms getting red after only maybe 20 mins, so although I was enjoying the warmth, I moved to the shade. It was too cool this evening though when we tried to go out again.
I did start taking insulin shots this week for gestational diabetes. And it looks like maybe my morning dose will have to be adjusted a little because my sugar was too high after breakfast still, and I had a low blood sugar episode before lunch. It's a pain seeing something (like English muffins) in the kitchen and wishing so bad to snack on them, but that's double the carbs I'm allowed for a snack. And I can't have breakfast cereal or juice. Sometimes I don't FEEL like half a plate of fresh vegetables. I really hope this doesn't continue after pregnancy, and even more importantly, that I don't develop it sometime down the road now, but there's a 50-60% chance that I will.

I found out today my c-section date will be moved to a week earlier than before. That's good news because my mom and dad and best friend in town were all going to be out of state when it was going to happen, but now they'll be here! It's now going to be on or before June 12th, which is only 5 weeks away! I'll be 38 weeks by then.
I've had my insulin dosages upped twice now, and we'll see how they do now!
Anything else interesting going on with my fellow purkles lately?
EDIT- Ooooh! They upped the first post bonus from 50g to 75g!

I'm allergic to Tuesdays..
but mostly I could think of nothing to say, me being so boring and all, and it was making me sad to see no movement in the guild. I miss me some Purkles.

Bippy (Jade still calls Amber Bippy!) how's Lumpy and the Girkl (Does Girkl rhyme with Purkle?)
Plum, so do you have Wednesdays/Thursdays off? Thursdays are Jason's Fridays every other week, so when he announces it's his Friday, Jade sometimes argues.
