In psychology, we talked about one thing that sets us apart from other animals, other than our intelligence, is that we have a very strong sense of identity.
Like, a dog doesn't really ever think about what it is, and if you randomly put a mirror in front of a dog, it wouldn't think, 'hey, that's me!'

Yeah, I saw something once about how there are only a few animals that recognize themselves in the mirror. Elephants, dolphins, and chimps/apes I believe are some, if not the only...

My cat can recognize himself.
He recognizes that he is better than others.
