"It is not too terrible; it is only a rare thing that we celebrate this way." Filix grinned. "You look very handsome, as the Phantom. If that was true... then my costume must reflect my Kithain more than myself. The costume I picked still waits for me in my chambers, and you're correct. It shows a hidden side..."

Filix drifted off then, not allowing herself to tell Aesculus what costume that was. She hadn't told a single soul, besides Eirnae, about the hidden side of herself. "That's an interesting theory though. I like it, it seems to speak a bit of truth."

Another thought occurred to Filix, and she asked, "Am I bothering you, I'm sure there are many you'd like to seek out?"

"But they also had crowns!" Winny replied, but to her disappointment, she found no crown around handy for the boy. "But... you got to pretend."

She giggled, and finally picked up the cup, mimicking what Feles did. Winny drained half the cup, then put it back down on the table. "I like to pretend the floor is lava, but there is nothing to climb."

Slowly exhaling in a relieved mannor, Rosa nodded. "Then I thank you for your compliment." She said, bordering in a sweet tone while glancing at her sister again. "This evening has been eventful, even in its young hours.. already a transformation. Makes you wonder what secrets are yet to be told, hmm?" She asked in a riddlers voice, grinning to herself visably beneath the half mask while letting herself fall into the mysteriousness of the evening... briefly. "Even if these confounding masks are.. eh.. I mean....my.. what an interesting mask you wear." She commented while clearing her throat awkwardly - though an awkwardness quickly consumed in an air of pride.

"Are you enjoying your night, sir?" She eventually posed for the sake of meaningless conversation.

"You're welcome." Alces said once again as he gave her another smile as she commented on his mask. He wasn't quite sure if that was an insult, or a compliment, or just a statement, but either way, he continued to smile. "Yes, it has. I believe I saw the familiar glow while waiting out in the hall for my Kithain. Speaking of which, I don't think she's going to end up coming...she hates dresses. Or at least that's the excuse she gave me. Is your Kithain here? And yes, I am. I hope you are enjoying yours as well?" He asked.

Aranea glided quietly inside the Great Hall, keeping to the corners and the shadows. By now, the laudanum she had made should have found its way into their drink, and she spied several of the Sun Court with glass in hand. The mask she wore fitted close to her face, and she had managed to make the kimono comfortable over the top of her wings. The long, heavy cloth seemed odd to her, but she bore the discomfort as they were here for a purpose. Her eyes narrowed into slits at the sight of the 'good and noble' Fey of the Sun Court. She spied Lupinus, and Feles who seemed to be talking to the offspring of a Kithain - possibly the child that Nox had mentioned, she wasnt sure. She crossed her two hands that she was able to show across her front, and waited, and watched.

Ursa pulled on the cloth, she was in need of a drink. It was a tiresome ordeal of transforming, and maybe a drink would get rid of her light head. She stood, pushing out the chair with the back of her legs, and pushing it quickly back in afterwards, she strode over to the table where the drinks and food were located.

Picking up the ladel she poured some into her golden goblet and whisked around, leaning softly against the table. Eyes afixed onward, her hand moving in a clockwise motion to 'swirl' the drink...

Majestrix Nox followed in on Sayuri's heels garbed head to toe in brown and gold feathers. Her head was covered by a bird-like helm, and all in all the costume made for a grand nightingale. Perhaps the bird choice was a jab at the sun court, but with the drugged drinks at work, she wasn't too worried.

Her head darted, birdlike, to gaze around the room. A smile curved on her lips as she spotted members of her court present, and curved wider at seeing Feles playing with the 'target'. This was going splendidly. She drifted amid the veils of fabric, making her way past the gatherings, and circling ever nearer to Feles and his prey.

Rosa stared into her half empty cup blankly for a few seconds before looking at Alces again, "Hmm? Oh.. her.." She sighed heavily and resisted the urge to say something infavourable, wondering breifly why everyone else seemed to have these marvelous happy-go-lucky relationships with their human Kithain. "She isnt coming. I havent told her about the evening and I believe that is better for all our sakes.." She looked around the room blankly again, "I hear many women from the gaian realm have the same inhabitions as your kithains. To wearing dresses that is. Another shame, though I suppose it is beyond helping by now." She thought for a moment, beforelooking back at him and 'gracing' him with another one of her smiles, "Yes, I .. it is more interesting then I thought it would be. Ah.. interesting is a good descriptive word." She said happily in praise to her own 'vocabulary genius.'

Lupinus noticed Aranea and Nox entering the hall, and watched Nox move closer to Feles and the girl. All was going well, none seemed to notice anything amiss- he shouldn't stand around, though. To blend in properly, he was going to have to talk to these fey... perhaps even dance, he thought with a scowl. Dancing, bah. He was graceful enough, but he preferred to focus his energies on more productive things than dancing. Well, perhaps one of the Sun fey would let something important slip if he engaged them in conversation, especially if their wits were already muddled by the potion. It would pass the time until they were to act, at least.

Keeping half of his attention on the movements of the other Moon Court fey, he looked for a likely target; someone not already otherwise occupied would be best. His gaze fell on the female fey who had just undergone her transformation; she was standing by the tables with a goblet in her hand. Yes, she would do for conversation. Working his way back through the hall, he stopped in front of Ursa and gave a small bow. "How are you feeling, my lady? Not too tired to still enjoy the party, I hope?"

After taking another drink from his glass, Alces gave Rosa another smile, "I'm sure it wouldn't have been -that- bad." He commented, however he wasn't sure of that at all. Alces just figured it wouldn't hurt to think that it would have been okay for the most part. "That it is." Alces agreed, "I hadn't expected a transformation to take place, but then again I never do. Always a surprise." he raised his cup up to his mouth to take another drink and glance around at all of the other Fey and their Kithains, quite happy that so many had shown up. "Did you make that dress yourself?" He asked, "It looks wonderful on you."

"Others?" He blinked, seemingly oblivious to what she may be insinuating. Indeed, one of the only studies that Aesculus openly neglected was proper courtship; and with Syrenrei as his Kithain, is he even had an inkling, all her confusing moods and mized messages when she was in relationships likely had his notions about such things scattered.

"Not really, my lady. Even if I really cared to seek out someone in particular, how would I recognize them?" He laughed to himself and then stared down at his tuxedo. How humans delighted in wearing these tight clothes was beyond him. Even with the alterations, it was uncomfrotable, especially the white bowtie. "Is there something the matter?"

Rosa shook her head, "You dont know who I am or my Kithain is, so I am afraid you cannot truly say." She reminded him quickly, though she had spoke rather kind and was apparantly in an exceptional mood even after being 'tourmented' by her sister. "The dress? Well.. Not quite, but that is a long story." After thinking for awhile, she arched an eyebrow beneath her cover and placed a dainty hand on her hip. "You wouldent by chance happen to know who I am, would you?" She demanded to know in a true noblewoman type of...demanding voice; blind, apparantly, to all the things about her person and mannorism that so loudly gave her identity away.

"Of course you wouldn't... unless their manners and clothing were obvious. ...Although, I must admit, I've only managed to pick out two in this crowd. There must be quite a few Kithain and family here." Filix turned away from Aesculus, a little embarrassed that she'd asked that question. Feebly, she told him, "I am fine, just a little breathless. It must be this costume," as she childishly tugged on the edging of the top layer a little.

Filix glanced back, and then offered her arm to him. "Maybe a drink, my Lord? We may even be able to spot more familiar fey beneath costumes, from another angle."

Spina had slowly entered the ballroom, the sound of many small bells jingling as she entered the room. On her face there was red and black mask, it looked like something a jester would wear, small bells near the top of it hanging from the long, swirly pieces of fabric. She quickened her face while walking, gripping on the edges of the cape that covered her torn and ripped wings. She needed to find the right place to stand, where she could see everything, but away from those fools of the Sun Court.

But none of that would get in her way, the night would easily fly by with some simple acting, and a few smiles. She smirked and looked at the members of her court. They all seemed to know what they were doing, or what they were supposed to do, it was beyond perfect. It seemed her Kithain was missing out, there seemed to be more of her type here. Even if the the useless woman had found her a proper costume, she still would still not be aloud to go. Infact she would be surprised if any of the Moon Court had aloud their Kithain to come, they would have only got in the way of things.

She brushed her braids away from her face and smiled at some of the Moon Court, and for once they had looked like real smiles. Not the fake or twisted ones she was used to.

"Oh hello!" She responded quickly, loosening her grip on the goblet. "I'm very well," a grin tugged at the corner of her mouth, "of course not, I'll drink my way through this tired period." She chuckled to herself, "your costume is very interesting, must have taken a lot of preperation, no?" his reptillian theme was very original. She happened to look down at hers, wishing she'd gone for a slightly bigger dress size.

But hey, she began to think, I never expected to transform here, that can't be help, just smile and get on with it..

Aranea's eyes travelled over the assembled Fey, as she stepped from out of the shadows. She felt that enough of the drugged drink had been consumed for her to mingle; a little of course. The very presence of so many of the Sun Court was hard to bear, and her fists clenched involuntarily. A soft, but barely audible clinking followed her movements; underneath her kimono and strapped to a thigh was a belt holding some toxins; she had even managed to make a composition that gave off a blinding smoke when exposed to air. She stopped near the food tables, watching Lupinus engage a female member of the Sun Court in conversation. She drifted closer to listen, her crimson eyes peering out at them from the blankness of the geisha mask...
