"It is a common misconception that the undead are slow and cumbersome. The G-Virus has greatly increased many of my formerly paltry human attributes. The grunny and I are one, and he is able to aide me in my reflexes."

*Lojak steps back, crossing his feet and maintaining a low center of balance as he keeps the bat poised. Four eyes watch for Icy's next move, and the grunny's seem to glow feintly.*

*The grunny immediately spots the action taken by Icy and inputs his best strategy for defense directly into Lojak's brain stem. Jumping back to avoid the debilitating slash of the katana at his feet, the bat flies up to block the path of the shurikens. Two lodge into the side of the bat, one flies just shy of his ear, and a fourth slams into his cheek.
A sharp metallic 'CLANK' rings through the air as the shuriken veers off Lojak's face and clatters against a rock in the distance.*

"Interesting tactic, asking a question before your strike. It has served to reveal a secret I'd meant to keep... and thus I shall tell you the story of my change in form. I was a G-Corp test subject, cybernetically enhanced soldiers enhanced by the G-Virus. It seems they underestimated the bond formed between grunny and cyber-grunt, and when they tried to terminate the grunny to perfect the soldier, I killed most of them and feasted on their brains."

*Rubbing the now exposed metal on the side of his cheek, Lojak flings a rock he had picked up in the course of the explanation at Icy*

"How is it that you come to change form?"

"Military man? Perhaps once, but no longer. I work for myself, and my own enjoyment.
Interesting trick with the wings, I should like to be able to fly, myself."

*Lojak shifts his stance almost imperceptibly, hips lowering slightly and legs coiling.*

"I wonder, if you could ever learn the form of the grunny," he says in jest, eyes locked on her approaching form.

*The shurikens prove too many to block. Several lodge into the side of the bat as it is swung with amazing speed, the rest tearing at Lojak's clothes and exposing another large chunk of one bionic arm.
As the katana slashes toward his stomach, his legs push into the ground and he springs backward into a tree.*

"How many of those damned metal bullets do you have, shapeshifter? We'll see just how much of a parasite you find the grunny to be when it is feasting on your face. wink "

*Using the tree as a starting block, Lojak begins to run, his powerful legs striking the ground with ferocity as he charges into Icy, swinging the bat at her right side.*

*Lojak circles Icy, talking to disguise the pain screaming from his exposed bionics.*

"That may not be your choice to make, oh feathered one. It may surprise you, but I still have a sense of fair play. Get up."

*Sparks shoot out of his left arm and Lojak stumbles, pain wracking his face.*

"Oh, it's the most fun. Fairplay ensures that the fight does not end too quickly, and that both parties get some satisfaction."

*As Lojak raises his arm to meet the charging form of Icy, a loud POP, accompanied by a shower of sparks and a puff of smoke, is heard. With an impressive show of lights, a few more fizzles, and more smoke, the arm drops, lifeless, to his side.*

"AGGGHHHH" he yells, stumbling to a knee, and leaning on his bat.

"Were the undead attracted to the abominable form of the living, this could well occasion some sort of storybook romantic gesture on the part of myself. However, we are not."

*Lojak's eyes roll back into his head as the grunny disengages from his skull and leaps toward Icy's face, Lojak's good arm dropping the bat and reaching for her throat.*

*Lojak rolls backward, remembering his own struggle when the grunny first attacked him, lifting his lifeless left arm with the right and watching it fall, unresponsive to the ground.*

"Don't be afraid, the grunny is quicker than you might think. 'tis a pity to spoil such a pretty face."
