Kia was shocked. She knew her injuries so well, yet seemed to be trying to shrug it off as though it was nothing. "If you need, we can walk over to the phone booth. I can call the hospital and get some medical attention over here." Kia's concern was showing in his eyes as he looked at her, in his arms. He wondered if this is what she felt when he was in her arms earlier that same day. Then he couldn't help himself, as he started to laugh. He had taken her good arm across his shoulder, holding it there with his hand, and then placed his other arm around her waist. He hoisted her up onto her feet, in a stead motion. She could now place almost all of her weight on him, or walk on her own with his assistance if she preferred to.

Kalia flushed slightly, "I just need to head home..." she said, "I'll be fine by tomorrow afternoon..." she said wincing as even the slightest movement jostled her shoulder, "I'll just go home and take some painkillers... and head to bed..." she said. "It's at the edge of town..." she said, "Right off Broad Street..."

After his short laughing fit, Kia started to head in the directions she gave. "Sorry sorry. Just kind of funny how you helped me earlier today in this same manner, and here I am returning it so soon." He just shook his head at the idea. "Are you sure you will be alright? A dislocated shoulder can be fairly bad, and broken bones don't heal overnight you know." Kia still wasn't getting it. He still wasn't registering that she was more than human. He was actually forgetting about the events of but a few moments ago. By tomorrow, he would probably consider it just another one of his odd dreams, not realizing that it really happened.

Kalia walked in silence letting him support most of her weight until they reached her house the huge building seeming even more desolate at night, "Thank you... I'll see you tomorrow..." she said as she opened the door she paused in the door way her arm hanging limp at her side, "And don't forget what you saw to night..." she said before closing it gently and doing just as she had planned, taking some pain killers and going to bed.

After guiding her the rest of the way in silence, Kia was about to help her into her house, when she seemed to disengage herself from his hold. She walked into her house on her own, and then closed the door. Kia presumed she would be alright, but wondered if he would see her in classes the next day. If this was all a dream, he might never see this girl again. After standing at her door for a few moments, waiting for nothing, Kia finally decided she would be fine, turned around, and ran the rest of the way to his own house. He did feel the strange sensation of being watched again on his way home. He felt the eyes on the back of his neck all the way to his house, and he didn't feel safe until he had the door closed and locked. It was very late by the time he got home, and he still hadn't done any homework. However, after the days events, Kia didn't much care, and he probably could get excused from it anyway from the events earlier in the day. Seeing the lights where out in the house, Kia snuck into the bedroom, to see Yojan sound asleep already. Grabbing some cloths, Kia creeped into the bathroom, got changed, and went to bed. He couldn't sleep all that night however, as the events from the park rolled in his mind, and he felt like eyes where looking at him threw the window. It wasn't till he pulled the blinds down did he finally get some rest, and even then only a tentative sleep.

Kalia got up and groaned her shoulder still ached and her pain killers had worn off. She grabbed some more and dragged on a sweater swearing at the top of her voice, which made her feel a little better. She set her arm in the hoodie pocket ever so carefully. She also tucked some more painkillers into her jeans pocket and grabbed her sling bag hanging it over her good shoulder. She locked up the house and headed to school cursing mentally all the steps that have lead to her current condition.

Kia's alarm clock buzzed for attention early in the morning, as it did every morning that there were classes. Kia however, didn't move. It wasn't untill Yojan switched off the alarm and started to shake Kia did he even start to move. "Kia! You need to get up." Yojan's young and high pitched voice squeaked as he shoved Kia. "Come on. Your going to be late." Kia raised an eyelid, revealing a bloodshot eye. Then it closed, not even registering Yojan. "Oh, don't you be doing that to me. You have to get moving. Your alarm has already gone off five times! Your going to be late!" At the mention of the time, Kia shot up. "What? what time is it?" He started to fall back into bed, still tired, but forced himself to move. "I'm going to be late." Yojan scampered off someplace else at this time, for he had to go to school now as well. His backpack on his shoulder, Yojan gave a final wave good-bye. Kia, seeing the time, gave up. He was going to get up early to do some homework and take a shower, now he was rushing to get changed and run out the door. Almost forgetting his own back pack, then he realized that he had left it at the school, so it was already there. Where it was though, he didn't know. Seen as he passed out in gym class, according to others, he would start his search there. Running out the door, Kia ran to the school building. He was really running, and was out pacing a few slow moving cars while he was at it. It didn't take him long to reach the building, and he headed right to the gym locker room.

Kalia settled herself at her desk as usual and stared out the window thinking. That boy probably wouldn't remember, dismiss it as a dream and no more... his kind usually did. She thought sadly, leaning forward she propped her chin up on her good hand and watched as she did in the winters the last rays of moonlight before the sun rose.

Having entered into the boy's locker room, Kia found his bag in his locker. It had been safely locked there all night, and the first class students where already there, getting ready for morning gym. Grabbing his bag, he quickly slammed the locker closed, and ran for his first period class. He reached the door to the classroom, but the bell was already ringing. It was too late, he was late. So now, he was late, hungry, and without homework. Things where not looking up for him. He opened the door, and tried to sneak into the room quietly, which was always impossible in a classroom. "Take you seat, Kia. Your late." The professor looked above the rims of his glasses as he sat at the desk. He was already making attendance, which means Kia was already marked as late. "Sorry sir. I was held up in the locker room, left my bag there yesterday and didn't have time to pick it up till this morning." Kia smiled weakly, hoping that his excuse would work and let him slide this time. "I heard all about your incident. I'll let you by, this time. Next time be ready, or you will be marked." The teacher warned, a stern look on his face. Nodding his thanks, he took his seat, which was next to the 'new' girl. She still hadn't told him her name, and her number was still written on his hand. Other girls had now moved closer to the two, as they expected Kia to sit in the same desk, and all of them wanted to pester the new girl who 'touched' Kia yesterday. However, the new girl seemed to be in her own world, looking out the window. Kia took a peek himself, but couldn't find anything happening that would draw so much attention from someone. He then remembered some strange things from the other day, or was it just a dream? Her arm seemed fine, but she had her hand in her sweater's pocket, so he wasn't sure if she was really hurt. If she was, it would be proof that what happened last night was real, and something was trying to harm him.

Alice leaned forward from her place behind him to whisper to him, "You never called me back last night..." she said her voice slightly pouty.

Kalia noted he sat beside her again and while everyone was pulling out homework he didn't she didn't say a word to him but slid her homework over a little so he could see it, with her left hand since she was refraining from her right. So for the day she would be left handed, she had gotten injured enough over the centuries she could use both left and right equally as well, a useful skill.

Kia heard Alice from behind him. She was the head cheerleader of the cheer squad, and was after him with a crazy ambition. He didn't know what her problem was, but even though he loved to chase the girls and flirt, he didn't like her one bit. "Sorry Alice. By the time I got home, I'm sure you wouldn't of wanted me to call you. Also, I didn't have time to check the messages either." He hoped that would be enough to deter her for a few moments at least. He was really starting to regret this class. The only good part was the new girl. She had something about her... Looking at the new girl, Kia realized she was using her left hand. Was she always left handed? Which arm was it she was hurt on? Wait. Was that just a dream? Then he noticed the homework answers she was showing him. If he was quick, he could take her offer and copy them. Being of the athlete type, he wasn't going to miss an easy grade. That meant Kia started copying. She seemed to be giving them up, so he didn't feel like he was wronging her. He was, however, trying to do it in a manner that the teacher wouldn't notice him. With a couple quick looks, he had the whole thing in his head. The answers seemed right, but to make sure the teacher wouldn't notice, Kia threw in a few odd answers anyway. This way, their responses wouldn't be the same. If the girl ever looks up during this, Kia would thank her with a quick wink, with the eye not facing Alice. If she found out, this new girl would be in a rather awkward social situation.

Kalia raised her hand when the teacher asked for a volenteer to do the homework, she had done the work and it was more her fault then his that Kia had not, so she volenteered before he got volenteered. She went up to the board propping her sheet up on the chalk tray and writing left handed last night's problem and working out the solution her numbers a little older form but nothing worth mentioning.

Alice waited for a moment when the teacher was not looking and slipped forward into Kalia's seat switching their books, so she could be beside Kia.
