"Markus," he replied, nodding to him. He stepped past him into the danger room. He didn't have his weapons with him this time; this sim was designed to be run without the aid of your own weapons.
The scenario was escaping from a holding facility.
"Computer, run simulation Morgan 3," he called out, standing in the center of the Danger Room. The setting immediately changed from the sterile, metal interior of the Danger Room to the dingy, low lit confines of a holding cell.
"Simulation, begin"
His first task was getting out of the cell without alerting the guards. He checked the lock on the cell door, and made sure that the guards were out of earshot. Placing his hand against the padlock, he formed a small forcefield inside the mechanism, crushing the small parts inside. The door swung open slightly, and Morgan stepped out, keeping to the shadows. He quickly pulled himself into the corner of the room, propped between two walls and a catwalk. A guard walked by, and noticing Morgan's cell open, reached for his radio.
Those few seconds were all Morgan needed. He launched small forcefield at the device in the man's hand, knocking it to the floor. Releasing the pressure witch kept him up in the shadows, he dropped down slightly, and pushed off from the wall, tackling the surprised grunt. In less than a second, the man's neck was twisted at an unnatural angle, a look of surprise on his face. Morgan stood up, and dusted off his hands. One down... he thought, taking whatever items would be useful from the guard's body.
Such was the fate of most of the other guards. All of them without a sound. He was just about to escape the facility, when he heard a gun c**k behind him. "Freeze!!" commanded a voice behind him. Hand raised slightly, Morgan turned around to see a single guard aiming his gun at him. Morgan just smiled maliciously. "I must commend you. You're the first one to actually get a good look at me. Frankly, I'm impressed," he mused, slowly stepping towards the guard. "I said freeze!!" the man replied, panic setting in.
"Unfortunately, you won't be able to tell anyone about this. You see, I don't intend to let you live," Morgan said, cocking his head to the side, and smiling in a way that would make the devil himself run in fear. BLAM!! The gun went off, but the bullet hit nothing. It dropped to the ground a good six inches in front of Morgan, flattened as though it had been fired into a wall. BLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAM!! CLICK! CLICK! Five more shots rang out, each hitting stopping at the same distance, until the gun clicked empty. The man backed away, recoiling in terror.
Morgan lunged. The man screamed. And then there was silence. Walking slowly, Morgan stepped through the front gates of the facility, and the whole scene melted away, revealing the cold, steel interior of the Danger Room. "Simulation, complete."

Kris stands on the roof, his breath coming in drags, sweat dripping off his body. As his breath steadies, he looks at the sword he formed. "......" Closing his eyes, his grip tightens, gel pooling from his hand. He felt ready to form it again, one of the first three things his power had ever formed. Gel nearly explodes from his skin as it forms at blinding speed, faster then he could ever do conciously. The sudden force kicks up the rocks from the roof, causing him to close his eyes, but keep his arm out. As the dust settles, he looks at the weapon he had formed, a sword.
The blade is six and a half feet long, one and three fourths feet wide, and four inches thick. The blade is eight inches in from the each side, making it more of a slab than a sword. The blade thins slightly in both with and thickness as it reaches the tip, becoming one and a half feet long with a ninety-degree point. The non-blade part is pure black, while the blade is a deep shade of grey, and holds it by the one and half foot feet long and 3-inch wide handle, wrapped in a deep grey cloth with the two ends hanging on either side of the handle. The blade is connected to the handle thought extensions from the grip into a |_| shape, seen as a half-circle on the sides along the non-blade part, allowing the blade to be exposed for the full length, with the base of the blade resting in the valley of the u, it is then held with two large pins from the bottom, on either side of the handle. At the end of the handle, opposite the blade, there is a small, but incredibly dense, heavy block of gel, acting as a counter weight to the blade.
Lifting the sword up, he swings it around with almost the same ease as he swung the small sword. "....." Holding the sword out infront of him with his left hand, the tip stabbing into the sky, he tests the weight. It's gotten lighter then before. It felt like it was made of wood last time, now it feels like it's made of foam. He had no idea why the three weapons are so light, but they are. Closing his eyes, the sword receeds back into his skin as he turns, heading for the door, forming a gel 'pick' to remove the key so he may enter. On the stairs he pauses, staring at his left hand. "....."

"y-yes i'm new here, um... and i'm not quite sure were i got to give my transfer pappers" she held the pappers she's swiped from her old school, just befor comeing her, out in front of her. "d-do you know?" she tillted her head to one side her bluey white hair drooped over her sholder. goose bumps ran down her white skined arm, not uncommon for a person who was ALWAT hovering above freezing evan in this lovly weather.

Jamie walked into the kitchen, a cheery smile on his face. He'd been trying to bond with the people in the institute for a long time, and in many ways had reacted in an opposite way than Morgan had opted for when they were hit by adversity. He had gone into a brief reclusion when Penny had dissapeared, taking it as hard as if he'd lost his own sister, but soon realized that he had faith that Penny would be back, and that he had no reason to dwell on it.
He had matured some over the last year, and was almost at the age of seventeen, and immersed himself in both basketball and psychology. Psych was a logical choice what with the way his powers were developing, and with his added height and muscle, basketball was progressing well.
"Rachael, Teagen!" He grabbed a banana and pealed it, wolfing it down. "How goes it, on this most beautiful of mornings?" He paused for a minute, then burst out laughing. "Okay, sorry. I was trying a really cheery demeanor. So I can't pull it off, big deal." He gave them a slight smile, and got down a bowl for cereal.

"Look, I made the news too," She chuckled ever so slightly, "Why do these people act like they are sad about the losses of this scum. They were bottom feeders, killers, and theives."
She amused herself and watched the news that night in a lightly furnished studio apartment. It would do. She didn't plan on staying in Bayville long. She doubted King Pin would keep her in one place to get caught. A different agent probably would be coming into play.
After pulling her alarm clock out of her bag, she set it for two hours later. She had a mission to complete, but she needed to rest... to get the voice out of her head. When her body was tired, that conscience had more of a push on her. And she couldn't screw up her mission.
*TWO HOURS LATER*
She changed into her standard hunting clothes. Everything was black and sleek and covered most of her skin. She wanted no distinguishing marks to be seen, and boy did she have them. Jade never remember really getting any of her markings... but she never really remembered much from before the past year. She had some kind of accident.
After pulling her hair into a long, black ponytail, she started placing weapons in strategic places on her person. Throwing a black trench over it all, she left her apartment and headed out. As she exited the building she could hear somebody on the roof somewhere and moved with as much stealth as mutantly possible to move through the shadows and out of sight.
Next target, Paul Leto... a man who made the mistake of working for King Pin and stealing a whole boat load of money from the man. Not a good thing to do.

Being stuck in some kind of prison really wasn't Penance's idea of fun. She had been in the same cage for what seemed like a blur of a year or so. Maybe it was more and maybe it was less. It really was like the worst kind of nightmare the way time moved in and out. The problem she was having was there there was no escape and there was nobody coming for her.
The only person she had contact with these days was Jade... the insane Jade. The one person in who she would rather never have to see again. Before that she remembered seeing this King Pin and many of his henchmen... but that was over a year ago.
Penance had already gone through all of the emotions. For a long while she had hope that Jacen would find her... the X-Men, Regina... anybody. For awhile after that hope faded, she felt betrayed by the people she stuck her neck out there for many times over... those she fought for until her almost death on many occassions. That moved on to self pity. After the self pity it moved into nothing. She accepted the fact that she got herself into a situation that nobody, not Xavier, could locate her... and now... Just waiting for a moment, just a moment that didn't come.
Waited for that one chance she could escape, the moment that seemed to ellude her. So she sat on the hope of seeing Jacen again, of hoping he was okay... hoping he was as happy as they had been. Hoping that Regina was okay, that Regina could forgive her for her leaving the Institute. Those hopes kept her waiting for the moment she could escape. Jade was just too good... and never gave her that chance.

"Eh, everyone gets in a bit of trouble now and then. Don't worry, I'm sure she's fine." Teagan said waving her hand dismissively in the air. She knew about trouble, she'd gotten into it quite a few times before she found herself in America.
"Jamie, a man of more then one word!" Teagan laughed as she greeted him. She chugged down the rest of her soda, pushing the empty cup around on the counter.
"Ah, don't worry about being fake cheery. It's better than just down right dark." She said, shrugging before looking out the window. "It's a beautiful morning? Well, I can certainly say I had failed to notice." She chuckled, swinging her feet back and forth a bit.
"Well, if you say so. It's a lovely morning! And it goes...well." She said, finally tossing her cup into the sink.

"Hello Jamie!" She said cheerfully and gave him a hug. "You looked like you needed one..." She nodded. "True, it looked nice out, I was thinking about going to the mall, I need some new pants..." She looked over at Teagen. "I know, but her kind of trouble is always bad kinds of trouble...."

"Scott Summers. He's over the school now. I havn't seen him for a while. So I wouldn't know where to find him. Just make your self comfortable and explore and get used to the institute if you wish." A smile drew upon his face. "He'll eventually show up sooner or later. Oh by the way the kitchen is just right through that door if your a little hungry" He pointed toward the door that layed just behind him.

Scott swept out of his office, having gotten word that their was a new student on the grounds. He sighed as he went, reflecting on his newfound responsibilities. He was glad to have a greater positition of power, but he had never thought it would involve Charles stepping down as the headmaster. Scott shook the thoughts out of his head and swept down the stairs, finding his way to the kitchen. He nodded to the students there, and offered a brief hello to the people he had worked with in his days as an X-Men member.
"Hello James, Teagen, Rachael" He said, in his own uptight manner. He looked over at the girl who was standing off to the side, looking slightly uncomfortable. "Hello." He said, with as warmth as he could manage. "Welcome to Xavier's Institute for Higher Learning. You must be Karly. I'm Scott Summers, is there anything I can do to help you?"

Markus came into the kitchen and quietly went about his business. He wasn't coldly antisocial just quiet and un-obtrucive. Grabbing his bottle of water out of the fridge he looked at the calendar on the side and noted that he had to take his mounthly injection. He decided to see how long he could go without it. He wanted to wean himself off the molecular rejuvenators they had him taking.
