At least you saw it intime to join it. I didn't find out about it until it was over.... But we have a member, a mod no less, here in the guild who attended it and had Danny actually ANSWER one of her questions. A round of applause for Ami-Kae!

Hahaha!! *bows*
I thought it was a proper question. And I still intend to make a shirt that says "SCHOOL BAND: ENDORSED BY DANNY ELFMAN. :thumbs up:" heart

I asked if he was ever in school band, and he said, no, he didn't get into music until after he graduated.
I was unsure, because I'd heard something (I TOTALLY forget where), I think it was some Boingo interview, where Danny was talking about Sluggo being the best saxophone player at the high school. So.. yeah, slight confusion.
So you're a band geek, too? Almost all of this guild's members are band geeks, then. xd

Well, I'm cretainy a dork. But I wouldnn't call myself a band-geek considering I quit all three I was in. I just can't deal with the directors. Their tempors give off the vibe....there's always all this tension. I ca'nt stand tension....

The worst one was when I spent a LONG time trying to figuree out what a tinzar was. In "Private Life" I always thought he said "I've got the tinzar//hidden in the closet" Not knowing for months knowing that he said "The skeleTONS are hidden in the closet"

I thought that for like a week, and then I realized what it really was. Obviouslty that makes me a better fan! domokun
Just kidding.
As for My favorites I have to say that they are as follows: Little Girls Only a Lad Grey Matter Gratitude No One Lives Forever And of course any Mystic Knights stuff I can get my hands on! I adore the Forbidden Zone soundtrack.

Yeah, Danny speaks another language. I always have a lyric page on hand when I listen to a song the first time. By reading and listening together, I know what he's saying, and I remember it. It's easier to hear what he's saying if you know what he's saying. Otherwise.. Well, I believed in the "If we get the room," lyric, too. whee
