maniacle_mortal Camille walked into the library. She eyeballed the two children milling about before noticing Sabin at one of the tables. She sauntered over to him, leaning over his work, eyeballing it. It was in a language she didn't recognize. Sabin raised an eyebrow at her curiously, a language he himself didn't understand "Do you have something for me?" he said monotonely with a hint of superiority. He looked to her leaning with annoyance, hoping she didn't knock anything out of place.

Kameo slipped into the library, his yellow eyes scanning the place to make sure Tristi wasn't here. Kameo walked over to Leila and Talia, pulling the book off Leila, smiling. "Did you two want to read this?" he didn't like children, but tended to be a sucker for their innocence.

"Nothing particular," Camille said to Sabin, "I'm just curious what you're reading on." she was bored, but didn't feel like making the effort to go down to the training grounds.

Sabin raised an eyebrow "If you would like to know, I am studying the Arcane and it's relevance to my own art, human anatomy and failures of the body; weaknesses and so forth, along with charismatic manipulation, a subject I am not so talented in, and war tactics, armor classes, weapons, siege engines, and a select few texts on physics . . ." he stood, the look of annoyance reforming into an expression of neutrality "do you have any interest in such subject matters?" as he stood two of the books floated up with him at eye-level. One was bound in flesh and had a green-black aura with a disconcerting face carved into the front cover, the other was merely an old-looking plain red tome. They seemed to give the vibe as if they were eyeing Camille.
((FEAR THE LONG RESPONSE OF DEATH! XD))

Camille raised an eyebrow. Living in Kameo's Castle, she'd seen plenty of strange and creepy oddities, "I didn't know a strategist was needed, now that the world is in peace?"

Sabin raised both of his eyebrows, surprised how well she manipulated the conversation to make him reveal things of himself and dodge personal questions posed to herself. He smiled curtly, actually displaying emotion "Kameo could have hired anyone he pleased to suggest tactical movement of his armies," he rolled his eyes "but he chose myself." his face became suddenly hard "What can be understood is that I am not the very best strategist, nor the least, but there is one thing that I excel quite superiorly in," he started to put away the books he had finished reading "defense." he hefted the texts fairly easily, and his progress was slow, logical, even monotonous "I cannot be beaten when I have only defense to worry about," he almost smirked "defeat is inevitable." he said matter-of-factly, without even the slightest hint of confidence, he viewed it statistically "My job is to keep this realm at peace."

"There are problems already? Kameo hasn't controlled everything for that long, has he? Which countries are causing trouble?" Camille was very surprised to know that, and she tried to keep up to date on the goings on outside the castle as much as possible.

Sabin blinked surprisedly as he stopped putting back books for a moment "Hmm? Oh no, I am merely here in case there is such an uprising, I am to defend the fortress from a rebellion; which would be foolish since Kameo controls this realm." he cleared his throat and started to put the books back again, he grunted as his old dusty bones started to creak, so he summoned a group of skeletons to put them away. He rolled his shoulder, snapping the joint back in place. He smirked again and looked to the woman casually "I could always use such an uprising . . ." he gestured to his undead revenants "I could get some more supplies." he said dryly, putting a hand to his chin, contemplating what duties he had to attend to for the day.

Maila walked into the library, having the urge to read a book. She ignored the people around her as she searched the fantasy section for a good book.

Sabin shook his head "Their bodies and souls are bound to the undead realm of Kthulu, when and if they are destroyed, they shall revive there, where they can be re-summoned whence they reform," he grinned wryly "a good defensive, which is what I require." he sighed "I could always use the extra corpses, and, if it did not anger the lord Kameo, I would have reanimated his ancestors upon arrival," his grin changed to a look of evil intent "with such dark magical power of the combined Dorfs, one lone Dorf would not be able to withstand such an onslaught." he sighed and his expression changed again back to his look of neutrality "I do despise empires where there are the living involved, I am perfectly content with my undead city upon the plane." he replied to himself plainly, uncaring as to whether the woman listened to him or not. His dreams of power were over when Kameo took over.
