"I did handle it, and now I am free to do as I wish." Which was true, but he had been waiting for Lharika to contact him as she'd promised but she hadn't. He had stayed put, thinking she needed a little time to herself before Fianna had been telling him sitting was doing no good. "Which means, Songbird, you can come stay for a while. Or I can come stay with you for a while. Spend some quality time and what not together." Get her to eat maybe because he knew she was not supposed to be this thin.
Seeing Lateef touching the many volumes, she joined him and browsed the spines of a few things. "I wouldn't be so worry, but you know that girl. She always had to be different." Looking to cheer herself up some despite all her worry. "Well, that at least means that it's not an impossible occurances...maybe she's just having episodes so close together that he thinks they're continuous." A blink at Lateef however before a shake of her head, "We all know that Piper isn't going to get pregnant again, so that's not the solution. I'm sure there's a plant or something to help calm such things." Despite her love of plants, she didn't personally know...she'd never looked for something as thus.
"No, no one has to watch you closely to notice. You sling magic with flare, the rest of us gently push magic from ourselves." Grinning lightly before he got up close to her, stopping their walking. "That's the Andalian air doing you some good. This place is strong in the ways of magic." Watching him somewhat, giving a light smirk. "The atmosphere driven by song to do my bidding. Yes I suppose that that's interesting...but all the freak rainstorms haven't been my doing lately. They've been Nillrik's."

"Me sling magic with flare? I never knew." After all this time, him with flare? Now that was new. Grinning he gave her a small nuzzle as his fingers continued to play with her own as they were kept far from them. "Yeah I had a feeling it was that but...I dunno it seems like I have to focus a little harder when I feel these in creases, they don't happen often but I can tell the sudden shift when it does." But there was no need to worry about something like that, he had it under control so he was fine by the way things were. "Well it is interesting, especially when I can see you play..." Another nuzzle before he chuckled. "Really? Well I was wondering when he would start calling on the weather, even though he does not mean too. Still those storms have ruined my days when I want to go fishing in my boat you know."

She glanced back at him, frowning and then turned her attention back to the window. It wasn't that she didn't want to see him...but things were still so up in the air right now. She was afraid to leave her father, afraid to leave her grandmother and yet she was angry and hurt, too. "Now's not really a good time. The family needs to be together."
"Maybe it's something she's eating? We always did tell her all that cinnamon was going to bite her in the a** someday." Shaking his head and flipping through one of Kieran's many journals as he scanned for some kind of information on it. "If there is one, Zahara would know and Kieran gleaned tons of information from her on his trips back there." Then he stopped. "Has she told Zahara?"

”People usually don’t see such things in themselves. Takes others to point them out.” Shrugging lightly. “Magic is a tricky thing.” Turning a look to him again and his nuzzling affectionate self that he seemed to be today. “Then get a canopy for your deck so you can fish as much as you want. I’m certainly not going to curb his urge to mess with the weather, long as there’s no harm in it.”
And she was not going to take the bait that he had set out. Not at all. He understood this was hard for her and her family, he understood that she needed time but shutting herself away from everyone wasn’t good either. “Aren’t I part of the family?” Which he did have his due right to ask by this point. Her not saying that it would be good for him to stay did hurt some.
Fianna couldn’t help the chuckle that left her at the notion of cinnamon being the culprit in this situation. “If that was the case, us wood elves would be in the state constantly. We do enjoy cinnamon.” Crossing her arms lightly with a sigh, it was worrisome a tad. “I don’t think anyone would have to tell her, the whole affair is pretty much hard to miss. I do know Malik never liked testing potion combinations on Piper though. Maybe that’s why Zahara hasn’t done much?”

Why was he making this hard on her? She didn't want to hurt him and that's all she would do if he stayed around. She wasn't herself right now. They might not be engaged but they both knew he'd carved out a place in her family just as she'd done with his. "You know you are but I can't be who you need me to be right now, Glynnic. I don't want to lose you and I will if you stay."
"But it might be mixing with something in the Underdark and causing her hormones to act up. Mixing things has never completely been best." Shaking his head and flipping through another book. "Maybe, but this can't really be best for any of them." His voice trailed off as he searched through and then tapped a spot on the page. "There's a surface remedy but I'm not sure how that would translate into Underdark. Can you send a note to Zahara?"

Galesen made a noise of agreement as he kept Isle close, his fingers still playing with her own as they were lowered back down. "Yeah it is, some times it can be so tricky but it is worth it." Yeah he was being affectionate, he couldn't help it, even without her for a week it seemed too long. But Galesen wasn't going to try and force her to do anything, she was looking out for her father and she needed to focus on that. "Well then if that's the way it is then alright, but if he brings a hailstorm around then it's gonna be different." A small chuckle as he was just kidding to that as he stood there with her. "So how is he doing with the weather? Has he tried to make more strong storms or just been poking around?"

“I’m not asking you to be anyone, Lharika.” This was difficult, that was true to say the least. But difficult was something that he was used to by this point, came with running a country and the like. “Why do you think you’ll lose me? I’m not going to change the way I feel about you just because all of this makes you different. No matter how long.”
“True, after all…that’s what you get when you put a surface elf in the Depths.” Tilting her head some before giving him a nod. “Sure, I’ll send to her whatever it is you need me to send. If you’re not too busy that is.”
“No it won’t, you’ll maybe just get bonked in the head. Besides, he doesn’t have the power to do such things yet. Rain is easy. Part of our name and such.” Shaking her head. “He’s not trying to influence the weather so much as he just wants to enjoy his music. When enjoy our music, and things happen.”

Galesen looked at Isle for a moment, she seemed so unresponsive to his humor, maybe he was being too forceful? Well he didn't need to worry so much, she was stressed out after all so he understood. "Yeah, but the day he learns how to create a hailstorm I can bet that there will be a black cloud following me around." Galesen chuckled to that before he slowly pulled away and sighed as he looked at the trees, autumn was so far his favorite season. After thinking for a moment he turned back to Isle and took her hand then began to walk again. "How is he doing with his music anyway? It's been awhile since I've seen you guys play together."

How to explain this any differently? She moved away from him, leaving the window seat entirely to pace the library. "Because I know you. You like contact and you like me to spend time with you and I can't do that. I can't promise I won't turn my cheek when you go to kiss me or move away from you when you try to touch me or wave you away when you want to talk to me. That hurts you, Glynnic. You can't even stand when I'm mad at you and refuse to talk to you."
He was already jotting down the note that described what he'd found and was asking for an Underdark component since he had a feeling there was one...somewhere. There had to be something that was going to stop this consistent spike in fertility...and obviously pregnancy wasn't the answer. Sealing the letter, he handed it to Fianna. "Take care of that for me. Meanwhile, I'll keep looking and let you know what I come up with." Turning to face Caprice. "Have you ever heard of anything like that, a'mael?"

"Well that's because you're being spiteful on me on purpose, that's why I can't stand it. This is different Lharika and I understand that. I understand that you're scared and how these things generally happen, and how there's little to do that can stop any of it. And I get how that doesn't make you feel fluffy and what not. I do get it. That doesn't meant I'm going to go crawl under a rock and wait. No. I'm going to stay right here, by your side...and wait. However long I have to, if only to make sure you're okay, and you're taking care of yourself, and if you do figure you want a shoulder to cry on, mine's here." Sighing lightly and pinching the bridge of his nose as he watched her. "Everything has to start and end, that's the nature of things."
"I remember when I was growing up, I have a sea elven friend who was in the Brigade. She had a terrible episode but it only lasted three months, she had a bit of crazy epidodes after that for the rest of the year, but nothing more solid than that."
Taking the note, she tucked it away into her tunic for the time being. "Thank you Lateef, you're about the only one who knows how to go through all these texts without getting lost besides Kieran." Which brought on a heavy sigh at the name. "Maybe I can go see if I can get Kieran to eat so you two can spend some more time alone."
"Perhaps. He only bugs you because you're around so much and you give him a reaction everytime. If you didn't, then he wouldn't bother you without fail every time you are around." Continuing to walk along the path, watching the wind play with the leaves some. "Natural as any of us other Rainsongs. I never expected anything different from him. He just wants to play around more than compose right now. Boys will be boys."

"That's just the way I am. When I'm angry, I don't talk to you because if I do, I'll say too many things I'll regret later." He really wasn't going anywhere, was he? And that meant he'd probably be forcing her to eat and go outside and walk around for exercise and all sorts of things. "I can't ever predict what I'm going to say or do. One minute I'm stoic and uncaring and the next I'm angry or hurt or...sad. I mostly get angry and sad."
"So this isn't a completely isolated thing. Although, sea elves naturally have higher fertility than any of us." Thinking for a moment and then walking over and gently squeezing Fianna's shoulder. "Work your magic with Kieran and let me know if you need anything. I'm working on a plot to kidnap him and get him away from all this. Something tells me Elaria is going to be around for a long while."

"That may be true Isle, but there are times where he finds me because he wants to have some fun. I don't control the boy but when he wants to see me he does if he puts himself to it." A little chuckle to that as he looked around him, he then slowly raised a hand and while pointing a fingers he took control of the breeze and played with the leaves for awhile. "Well if he can at least control the weather with the way I've seen it at he is then good with that particular talent. Though I bet once he settles down and starts composing he will be as great as you and your father. Still, has he decided on something to play with? Last time I saw him playing he switched from the flute to the clarinet, did he switch again?"

“And?” Watching her blankly for a moment. “If you’re trying to convince me to go away because you’re going to be moody, it’s not a very good excuse.” Giving a light sigh, she was so stubborn sometimes. Even when no one was forcing her to do something. “Do you think me perhaps fickle in how I feel about you then? You seem to think I’m easy to hate you or something just because you’re not exactly your Songbird self.”
Fianna nodded to him in that grateful manner as he tried to reassure her. “She’s not going anywhere until she’s sure Kieran will be fine. Which he will be, he just doesn’t know it yet. I’m sure some manly bonding time will do him good, it’s what you men do.” Thusly turning from the room and heading out, first order of business being to send the letter she had over to Malik whom could pass it onto Zahara. Then it was on to bother Kieran.
“He has that talent in the bag, it’s finding another that will give him a sense of accomplishment that doesn’t come from genetics. After all, I’m grand with anything musical but I don’t sing for a living now do I?” Silly Galesen and his humanistic thoughts at times. “He’s exploring his love of all things percussion this month.”

"Hm, maybe he can take up surfing? It's been getting good in sales for me at the shop and people have been talking about just going to win tournaments professionally, I don't think it would be such a bad thing for him to actually take something other than swimming when it comes to the water." The only reason Galesen kept Nillrik from actually trying surfing is because some times the waves could be really harsh and even hurt a person, he had a few accounts where he was swept under the surf for a little while and almost got banged up badly. Though Galesen smirked as he leaned into Isle and pressed a kiss to her head. "But I like hearing you sing, even though you don't do it too much." Though when Isle mentioned what Nillrik was playing next Galesen had to laugh a little. "Oh that must be grand, I hope you guys have soundproof the room at least."

"I just don't want to hurt you, Glynnic. It's easy to say you won't mind me being moody or angry all the time but after a week of that, I'd want to drop me. I don't even think Mama Fianna wants to be around me right now." And that hurt. Why else would she have called Glynnic. "I just..." Oh crap, here came the tears. "Can't you see I'm trying to do what's best for you? For us? I wouldn't want to be around me if I had a choice...and I don't like that because I think I'm a likable elf." Sniffling and trying to avoid the temptation of wiping her nose on her sleeve. Yes, right now she must look really attractive... "As likable as any other elf, right?"
"Among other things." He carried the volumes to the desk and sat down, tugging Caprice back into his lap with a nuzzle. "Ah A'mael, what are we going to do with that silly couple? Kieran's being ridiculous and there's only so much Fianna will take. Poor woman. I really do feel for her."
