Bear Grills says you can go 3 weeks without food, but only 3 days without water.
Also, before I moved away for college, I had 3 jobs at the same time, so I don't want to hear you whipper snappers talking about money. lol

Yeah. I'm sure 98% of the people who watch Man vs. Wild just watch it to see what crazy stuff he'll do. Drink your own urine?! Hooray!

Bear jumps into worst case scenarios to show you what to do if you have to swim across an arctic river or drink your own urine etc.
Les is more down to earth and just does the surviving.
Plus, Les is all by himself, and Bear has his crew. He's cheated and had the crew help before with doing things, and even said so on camera which they aired.
Imo Les is the better survivor cause he's filming and surviving all by himself.

What if you construct a small village by yourself? And populate it with your children, form your own set of laws and religious sect, and then the camera crew comes back two years later and they're all like "WTF, was there a tribe here?"
Then the original guy is all "Oh hey guys. Well, do I pass?"

The difference between Les and Bear is Les just tries to survive in the same spot for a week if I'm not mistaken, while Bear tries to survive while trying to make his way back to civilizaton.

Les moves around too. And Bear doesn't always just look for civilization, sometimes he has to reach a rendezvous point where he gets rescued. Same with Les.
