Saleis winced at the noise as well. In a deseprate a attempt to hide it, she lift her maw and howled loudly, but more like a song then anything.

Kaylan finished inspecting the damage done to his leg and walked into the kitchen and there he saw a boy eating a piece of meat (alonzo) "do you happen to have a some kind of a bandage or something I could use for my leg?" he asked the boy, gesturing to his still bleeding leg.

It was the sweet sound of the violin that lured Dor to wander near the house by the coast. It reminded him of how his mother used to play when he was a little child. When he reaches the turnoff on the road to the house, the music stops. Dor takes a careful look at the eerie yet inviting home. There was nothing too peculiar about besides the increasing sense of comfort it held to Dor. He was tired from another day's wandering. But he did spot a pair of werewolves howling in front of the house. Werewolves were not involved in the Immortal Wars, but they still make Dor uneasy. Never the less, he ventured down to the large house and stopped before the porch, glancing at the werewolves tensely.

Saleis looked towards the man that approached the house. She tilted her head to the side, and was about to growl for him to go off, but she remembered the words that were repeated to her when she came here. 'If you're here, that means you belong.' Apprantly he belonged. She ignored the strange and jumped up onto the porch, grabbing another slab of meat, and started to rip it apart, less careful, unlike last time. She took a side glance at the stranger, before looking at Stephen, and speaking in the Were Language, "Why'd you kill that Wolf?"

Dor took a step back when one of the werewolves jumped onto the porch and began messily consuming a hunk of raw meat. He was prepared to defend himself, but lowered his guard when the half beast did not attack. So some are friendly after all. "Um," he started hesitantly, "Do you live here?"

Stephen grabbed half of the meat from Saleis' hands, and devoured it, then sighed, "It seemed like a good idea at the time, I'm not very good at the forethought thing like this," he waved a hand at himself. he looked at Saleis, and smiled, showing his teeth, "After all that food, I need some exercise, care to join me?"
((Getting better, BTW, i edited my profile to be more in line to how the character is going, i hope this is all right))

Salies looked towards the Elf, and stood on her hind legs, much taller then the one-form. She willed to human and stared at the Elf, tilting her head to the side as she studied him. "Yes, I suppose I do," she smiled, "I'm going to go out to the woods. Just go in and to the dining room. You should find someone to help you." She said, turning to go to wolf form again, but stopped, "And before I leave, I'm Salies. This is Stephen." She gestered towards the other were, before changing back into a were and jumping down from the porch. "Come on!" She said to Stephen in the were language, before turning and bounding away with amazing speeds, into the shadows of the forest.

Stephen laughed as he vaulted over the railing onto the ground, though to anyone who wasn't a were it sounded like a snarl. He ran as fast as he could towards the forest, hoping that she might wait for him, seeing as she was much faster.

"Awh, damn! I'm sorry!" Alonso said, hopping up. He rushed into the kitchen and dug through drawers until he found bandages and some hydrogen peroxide. "My sister, Raymei, would be helping you, but it seems that she's wandered off. Probably to help someone else. Amelia would be helping, but she's exhausted. Too much in one day, I guess." Alonso looked at Kaylan. "I'm Alonso, by the way. I bet you know my name, but I like to introduce myself to people. It's polite." Alonso walked back to the kitchen. "Anything in particular you want? We've got just about everything."
"Kinda," Raymei said, walking around the music room, touching instruments as she passed. "I was terrified of Amelia when I first met her. She is a witch, after all. Even if she is a nice witch." Raymei turned around to face Roran. "But I'm gonna be a witch too, even if I never get as powerful as Amelia. I'll always be afraid of others, but that's just because I grew up terrified of people. But now me and Alonso have a home, and this is where we're gonna stay. There are so many people in situations like ours. They deserve a home too. And that's why I agreed to help Amelia run this place. She needs the help, anyway." Raymei giggled. "Even if she is a super powerful witch, she can barely cook! So that's my main jon. And Alonso is our muscle. Since he doesn't have any special pow-" Raymei stopped short. "Since he isn't as different as me, he gets firewood and fixes stuff for us. Amelia said she could fix things with her magic, but Alonso said she needed to save her energy for protecting and maintaining this place. He fixes the little stuff. Plus he's good to have around in emergencies. He's always so relaxed..." Raymei sighed loudly and plopped down on a piano bench. "I'm always freaking out. I need to grow up." Raymei looked back over at Roran. "Oh! You weren't talking about you, were you? Like, you in particular. 'Cause you're a vampire and all. No, actually. I'm cool with vampires. You still scare me, but it's not like you're the devil incarnate. Vampires, like everyone else, can be good people. I like to think everyone is a nice person. Then they don't seem as scary."

"You are a brave one little Raymei, and strong. Don't you forget that," Roran walked back to where he found the violin and set it down. He looked back at Raymei. "But never stop being a little afraid. It's what keeps you aware. Keeps you watching, observing, learning. Surviving. If my parents hadn't been so confident in the Council, if they hadn't been so careless, I wouldn't have been shot in the leg today. I wouldn't have found my way here. I wouldn't have played this violin," Roran said softly, "But then again, maybe I would have wound up here, if it truly is what you and you're mistress say it is. Anyway my point is this; become fearless and you lose everything. You stop looking out for what you don't see. Never give in to your fear, but always keep a little bit around to keep you vigilant. Then you won't be like my parents: dead." With that Roran walked out of the music room, closing the door behind him. He needed more blood. And maybe a spot of wine as well.

Kaylan took the bandages and peroxide from Alonzo and said, "thanks, my name's Kaylan." he poured a little bit of the peroxide on his injured leg, then put a bandage on it. "thanks, but now I'm curious, what did the witch that got the wolves off of me mean by 'if your here that means you belong'?"

Saleis slowed the instant she reached the trees. She sat down, and waited for Stephen. She wagged her tail slightly watching him approach. Happiness filled her as she finally found another that wasn't a loner, and she wanted to howl now that she knew she had a home. She stood as Stephen entered the woods, and smiled slightly. She wanted to know about this being. "What do you like about being a were?" She asked. "I like being able to change from one form to another. You get to know two worlds. And I like the power." She giggled.

Stephen frowned, "I haven't thought about it much before, and then only as a human because I'm normally too occupied with things like running away when I change. When I do, though, it scares me, to be honest," he had never told anyone this before, and wondered why he was doing so now, "To know I have so much power, and to barely be able to control it, the only thing worse than that would be not having a thinking mind in the first place," he looked up and smiled, tail wagging slowly, "Though, it is good to know that I am somewhere where people won't try to kill me because of what I am."

Raymei sighed as she watched Roran leave. She turned to the piano. She couldn't really play well, but she could play a little. She decided to try something new: she channeled some of her magic into her fingers. Then she began to play. It wasn't much better than usual, but it was smoother sounding than usual. Raymei smiled and continued playing.
"The witch is Amelia," Alonso said to Kaylan. "And she meant exactly what she said. This is a magic house. Only people with magic in their hearts can see it. And this place seems to attract outcasts. Only people who need help end up here." Alonso laughed a bit. "We're all orphans or rejects here. This is like a place where all the misfits can come to live with each other. Since we've got nowhere else to go..." Alonso sighed and went to start clearing the table.
