I can be killed, I just won't die of something simple like drowning. To be slain, I must be stabbed in the heart with a blade of pure twilight.
You beat me by forcing my hand. I'm halfway immortal, not invincible. Most don't know Void's weaknesses, but you knew enough to defeat me by the terms of honor. I consider myself beaten when I am revealed as the cub I really am, beneath all this magic.

Such a being could be a doorway for a salamander to enter the world, and nobody wants that.
