Devlin waited for the rabbits to calm down, before he moved to pet a few, murmering how cute they were, and what good little rabbits. He just stood up, when he noticed a dark haired human girl looking at him. She nodded towards where the other goyle had gone, meaningfully.
Devlin scowled at her, and shook his head, only to recieve another nod in the same direction, and this time, a bunny was thrust at him. He rolled his eyes, and made a face at her, only to get the face returned to him. He took the bunny, and muttered to himself, heading off after Desmond, looking around for him. After a little while of looking, he managed to spot the other, noting how the red skinned goyle stuck out like a sore thumb.

Desmond's ear gave a light twitch and he looked up at the other gargoyle. "Yes? Is there anything you need from me?" He leaned back against a tree, his voice didn't sound as cold as before, neither as vibrant as it had sounded days ago.

Devlin looked down at the other, eyes roaming over him slowly ".....Someone stole your laugh." He said, bluntly, before he moved to crouch in front of Desmond, still watching him while he started to pet the little bunny. He inched a little closer "....Hopefully I haven't made you so unhappy."

Desmond just gave a light smile. "I suppose...." He shurgged his shoulders. "I can't be a bounding ball of energy all the time, I eventually worn down..." He looked up at the other once again. "I am allowed to be so."

He nodded a bit, watching him "Sure, 'course you are. Beings should be allowed to be who they are." He said, a little pointedly. He then held out the rabbit to Desmond, as if the offer would bandage everything. He didn't particularly care of most gargoyles didn't like him, but he didn't want to be teh cause of misery.

Taking the rabbit gently, he petted it gently as he smile a little more. After a moment, he held the rabbit back to Devlin. "Thank you."

He moved to sit next to Desmond "....So. What's buggin' you, huh? Not just me, I hope." He took the rabbit back, and rested it on his lap, where it curled up to sleep. He looked at Desmond a little, eyeing him.

Looking at Devlin for a moment, he sighed slightly. "I suppose I am just pondering my life." He looked up, seeing patches of the sky here and there behind branches, leaves and clouds. "Some days I feel like maybe I should just grow up and become as serious and boring as the rest of the adults. They don't seem to be sad as often as I am...angry, yes...but not sad, but at the same time, they don't seemed all that happy with being mature. I like being happy..."

"....If you are happy, to hell with the rest." He said, with a hard grunt. "Ya can't live for others and be happy. But if you're sad more..." He looked thoughtful, trying to think of a way to put it. He frowned hard, finding that works had failed him once again.

The other gargoyle just gave a light now and rested his head against the tree, closing his eyes. "I suppose so, but, life has its complications, either way, you lose something."

"Then why worry about it." He said, simply, before he looked at the other "You not sleep well, huh? You're tired?" He rested his hands on his knees, sitting indian style, his legs crossed, bunny on his lap, sleeping peacefully.

"It easier to think with one's eyes close to the world. It lets you concentrate better." He chuckled softly. "I sleep well enough, my dreaming is rarely very trouble." His blue eyes reopen as he looked back at the other, his own form rested recline against a tree, his legs stretched out, crossed at the ankles.

Devlin nodded, slowly, looking thoughtful. That, and he had run out of things to say. He had never spent this much time actually talking to someone, and he was begining to find it awkward.
