Though I am pro abortion, because I'm anti being a daddy but non anti sex. but thats a whole other topic. well... that's a tricky argument. if one denies the existence of an immortal soul, then what makes a person a person is a matter of consciousness, and for at least the first trimester it is safe to say that a fetus lacks consciousness entirely, which (under this definition) would mean you aren't, technically, committing murder. it hasnt even developed the necessary organs to maintain life at that point. of course, if you do make this argument, it gets very muddled and hard to define when the fetus DOES gain personhood...
