Crux waved it off, "I'll be fine. I'll just get some of the furs I have as blankets and I'll be fine." Then an idea hit him. "How about you move into my place? I can go get another lounge in the village tomorrow."

Mike blinked. "I would like to move in with you." Mike nodded, the alcohol still working in his head. He blinked again, a little confused. If he was going to live there, he would have to know where it was. "Lead the way."

"Sure!" His four hooves swaggered a bit as he walked through the tiny town to the outskirts and into the woods. From the woods he continued on until he was to the basin of the small hill he'd been living in for ages. "My home is yours." He said once he was in front of the small cave that was his home.

Mike smiled, having memorized the way there the best he could. He took in the area around the small cave, following Crux in. "I like it." he said, nodding.

"It's easier to find your way in the daylight." The room was scantly furnished with only the chaise lounge and a dresser. Everything was colored with earth tones and browns. He let go of Mike's hand and took a fur off the bed to make a bed on the floor. "You go ahead and go to sleep. We'll see how you feel in the morning."

Mike nodded. "Goodnight, Crux." he hugged Crux, and climbed up into the bed. "I'll see you in the morning"

"Goodnight Michael." Crux hugged him back before settling in on the fur and laying his head down. "See you in the morning."

Mike smiled. Crux knew his full name. He curled up and went to sleep. That night, he had a dream about staying there forever, falling in love with Crux, and just overall being happy. He woke up a little while after the sun came up, stretching, feeling a lot more refreshed than he had last night.

Crux snored softly as, like his ancestors before him, he was not a morning person. If his dreams were to be enacted, then the likes of which would be inappropriate for minors. His back was a bit stiff but the alcohol had helped dull the pain and so he slumbered on as normal, unaware of Mike, occasionally mumbling a word or two.

Mike smirked. He quietly walked over to Crux and knelt next to him. "Good morning, Sleeping Beauty, it's time to wake up." he said softly, poking Crux gently in the side. Crux was cute when he slept, even if his words didn't make any sense.

Crux felt the poke in his side and moaned, rolling as best he could to his other side. "Five more minutes." He muttered, fighting the source of his waking.

Mike poked a few more times. "But I want to see your pretty face awake now." he bent over and kissed Crux on the nose. "Come on, it's time to wake up." his voice was still soft, almost playful.

Crux cracked open his left bloodshot eye. "But I dun't wanna! I normally get up at one." He mumbled and looked over at the sundial just outside the cave. "And it is only seven o'clock." The kiss on the nose was nice, but it was odd waking up at this time. It felt unnatural.

Mike gave a small sigh and went to walk outside. "If that's the way you want to be." he called. Mike, once he was awake, couldn't go back to sleep. He had always woken up early, besides, he was hungry. He walked slowly to the door, wincing slightly when the full amount of the morning sun hit his face. It was a nice morning.

Crux rolled his eyes and got up. "Bah! I hate mornings!" His stinging eyes glared at the bright light as he clambered up clumsy-like. "I'm up." He barked as he followed Mike out into the harsh light of day.
