I've no nifty old worlde naval items to give out like you do, but I could definetely scrounge up a donation letter to give you should the occasion ever arise
I'm in no danger of being hacked again because I cycle my passwords weekly now

As much as a donation letter is rather tempting, I think that a 16oo's Spanish Silver 'Piece Of Eight' is a little more everlasting. But alas, who else besides myself would be able to ge their hands on anything like that?!
However, I would be content with a donation letter.
As for the shortlist, I've not opened it for nominations yet. I'll do that now.

The scarf I'm wearing around my head is from the Feb letters. this scarf or a lappy. I like the scarf. You would think by now that such wardrobe changes coming from me are to be expected

I don't know the specifics myself. But everymonth, an active guild member is selected by the vote of other members and given something by the Captain

- Wow, It's been along time since last I was on Gaia. eek -
The Captain's contest seems to never end does it? Can you imagine how much he must spend on the crew of this guild?
I mean technically, if he's out buying one present each month that normally ranges around $10.00, and then he keeps this contest going for an entire year?
$10.00
x 12 months
$120.00 Total.
That's One Hundred and Twenty Dollars that he spends out of his own pocket on people he doesn't even now. Not to mention, he gave Mr. Cubby a 17th Century Silver Dubloon! Do you realize how much those are worth? I think that I heard somewhere on National Geographic that they rnaged from $250 to anywhere in the $5,000 range, depending on whether or not it's still in good shape. Now that's one dedicated Captain that must really love his Crew.
He's been running this Guild for a very long time. INfact, I think it's the oldest, most long running Pirate Guild on Gaia. Impressive 4laugh
I think we should do something for him... the only question is what? And how would we keep it from him?

Well, Miss Seizezo, I appreciate the sentiment, but I must say that I don't expect that anyone in any guild would do anything special for me... I would be utterly shocked and almost to the point of stroke if someone did.
I've been as generous and giving as I could ever be since I originally started on the, since deleted account, of 'Kurisutofa' back in 2002. Having been in need of a Title & New Reputation, I changed my account in Dec 2003, and have continued my campaign in performing nothing but charitable acts for any and all Gaian's up until this very day...
I have yet to receive any retrobution. Little thanks has been noted, but other than that... Not a single damn thing. But it's alright I guess. As long as I know that I'm doing someone a favor adn a good deed, I'm all squared away and fine with it. But it would be nice... Oh well.
