"Only in your dreams Yasuo-kun..." Ana sighed with a smile. "Do you want to eat in my office, or continue watching that girl?" She asked before turning.

"I'm up for getting out of here." he said, standing. "Besides, a few others have came in. Let them watch her." he said, dismissing the girl from his mind.

"Okay" She said simply as she headed out the cafeteria with Yasuo. Ana has always had a question that bothered her and she has been dismissing it for a while. She was just afraid to ask, not knowing how Yasuo would react. "Have you heard from your parents lately?" She finally asked.

Yasuo stopped suddenly. Of all the things, he hadn't expected that. "My mother called about four months ago." Yasuo said, knowing it was pointless to hide anything from Ana. Though they weren't best friends to be sure, Ana knew more about his life than anyone else, including his parents. "Why do you ask?" Yasuo asked her, wondering why she'd brought it up.

"I just haven't heard from them lately...I'm wondering if they're okay" She opened the door to the clinic and walked in. "The last time I heard from your mother was about a year ago, so I'm just making sure she's okay."

"She was then." Yasuo assured her. "When she can't complain for an hour to me about my father, I'll know somethings wrong. Aside from that all she told me was that my sister-in-law is pregnant again. Makes for baby number five. I don't know how my brother handles it." he said. "I assume Dad is fine as well. Ma didn't indicate otherwise." he followed her into her office. "I told them I'd visit but haven't yet." he admitted. "Would you like to join me when I do?" he asked her

"I would like that..." Ana thought as she took a bite of her salad. "Five kids...I couldn't handle that many kids at one time..." She sighed. "I don't know how they can do it! How do they keep their insanity? That's a secret I want to know..."

Yasuo smiled, content for the first time in a long time just to sit there and talk to someone. "I have a hard enough time with my class, let along having infants." he admitted.

She smiled. "I bet...oh well..." She began to think of the last time she was this comfortable with Yasuo. 'I mean, it has been a while...' She noticed that she was starting to relax and have a normal conversation with him. She could finally enjoy being around him. She giggled softly at the new perspective.

Yasuo looked at her strangely. "Is there something on my face?" he asked, reaching up and brushing at it. "I can't imagine you laughing at anything but me in this room." he teased looking around.

"And ruin the surprise!?" Yasou asked. "Never. You my dear, will have to wait until tonight to find out. You're not allergic to anything, are you?" he asked, realizing he didn't know. "I have hopes of ending our date without a trip to the emergency room." Yasuo finished what was left of his food and wiped his face. "I didn't expect you to accept." he admitted on a whim. "It's not like you to do what I want." he teased her with a smile. At least, he thought, not yet.

"How else am I going to get you to hand out those papers? Hm?" Ana asked finishing her last bite of salad. She rolled in her chair to throw away the trash, then rolled back. "And no, I'm not allergic to anything..." She sighed and laughed slightly. "I actually though for a second that you would give away the menu. Didn't expect a reaction like that! You've become more of a gentleman, how time flies by so quickly...quite sad actually, I didn't want to grow up. But then I did and here I am, in the same room with my first real friend." She paused. "Odd, how life works its mysterious ways. Don't you think?" She asked looking at the kids outside, still eating their lunches.

"Odd?" he mused. "Yes, I suppose it is." Yasuo looked at her, thinking about the ring he was so sure he'd have to use on Ana. Suppose he didn't have to? Yasuo stood at that thought and walked over to her. Running a hand down her cheek, he bent down and kissed her. A simple kiss, no more than a peck. He pulled back from her but didn't stand back up. His hand still resting against her cheek, he waited for a reaction.
