Kira walked into the diner, observing everything there was. All the people, all the objects... "Interesting..." She muttered.
Kira then walked up to Akane. "Hey there."

Without further word, Akane finds a table and sits down, writing down his order and leaving it on the edge of the table for the waitress to pick up.

Kira bounced behind Akane and sat down in her seat across from him. She also wrote down what she wanted, something that may freak out the waitor or waitress. However, Kira did not care. She was odd, she was evil... what more was there to care about yet?

"Uhm... what do you want to know?" Kira said, folding her hands.

"Where are you from? What can you do? Are you married? Do you have a boyfriend? Stuff like that."
Akane's eyes showed interest an intent.

"Where am I from?" She repeated. "Well... I'm from... ah... I'm from New Orleans. As for what I can do... I can do a number of things; it's not something I can tell, however, I can show you, but that's for another time." She smiled and her fangs lowered. "I am not married; I've never cared to stay with anyone that long, and I do not have a boyfriend; if I did he'd be too much of a hassle with me being here. He'd probably be off somewhere else if I did. Plus, if I found out that he had ever cheated on me, his blood would be smeared on the walls and his body would be separated all around New Orleans." She smiled demonically at the thought and then asked, "Why do you ask so suddenly?"

Akane sat back in his seat as the food came. As the waitress put the food and drinks on the table, Akane simply shrugged.
"Curious I guess. Can you blame a person, espically a guy, for asking? Even if we do not feel anything for a girl, we still ask and like to know if she is dating someone or married. That way, if we do develop feelings for her, we already know that it's okay to make safe advances on her."
Akane took a sip of his drink.
"Not saying that I will develop feelings for you. Then again, the unexpected does tend to occur."

Kira chuckled, but it had an evil edge to it. "Alright then. You are right, you know." She smiled at him and took a swig of her gold liquid that swirled with crimson. "The unexpected does tend to occur... otherwise, I wouldn't be here, would I?"

Akane shrugged.
"Most likely I suppose. I don't know your life history so I cannot say for sure. I'll just take your word on it. I've always trusted a girl with a thrust for blood. Oddly enough, that has not backfired yet."

Akane smiled.
"Every dog has his day. Today was mine."
Akane chuckled a little before he began to eat and drink, ignoring all others in the room save for Kira. When around her, he felt a strange pull, not of emotion, but of something else. What was this? Fate perhaps, or something more.....?

Kira's eyes suddenly locked on Akane. They began to fade from red to an eery, cold, icey blue. She was reading him, something she had rarely done except for emergency occasions. This was one.
Something odd swirled around Akane, something she had noticed earlier and something that she knew long before she came here; but she could not remember. "What are you?" She asked coldly, bluntly, almost with no feeling at all.

Akane could feel the tension in the air as Kira's eyes locked onto him and she seemed to search him.
"I am simpily a gifted human being. Nothing more, nothing less. At least, that I know of. What brings about that question?"
