Character:: Dolly Cathers Location:: Nyx heeadquarters, Conference Room
Dolly smiled coyly at Clark, as if she knew a secret about him and wasn't planning on telling anytime soon. She took a liking for this character- there weren't many people in Serial that owned their gangs. Dolly, of course, being one of them. But she rode her horses and Clark had his little crime gang. He was interesting enough and Dolly knew much about everyone- though she did keep it to herself.
Dolly turned back to Eve and glanced at the empty seat at the head of the room. She raised her eyebrows and winked suggestively at Eve. "What's holding ol' Strake up Eve? He is making the whole crowd wait for him."
She shifted her amber colored eyes to her red painted fake nails that seemed to glow with intensity. She clicked them together just to feel the plastic scratch against each other. Dolly crossed her left leg over the right, their bareness rubbing against each other. She dangled her red boot loosely over the other- she had purposely bought a style that did not clasp tightly against her skin. Dolly wasn't fond of meetings too much, she hated the feeling of being confined in a dark room. But thank goodness they did not have meetings like these too often...but not that Dolly came to these meetings too often anyways. Most of the time, she skipped the dates. Though Strake never really scolded at her for it- probably because she had Eve backing her up. And everyone knew how much Strake adored his girl. Dolly smiled absentmindedly, still fidgeting with her nails.

Character:: The Commander (NPC) Location:: Organization headquarters, Conference Room
The Commander nodded. "I will send a squadron to the towns near the Nyx territory to ensure their safety. I will have three group of men sent along with you General Dayne. Set up the trap outside of the Nyx territory- so they won't be able to barricade themselves when we attack. Have middle men alert the Nyx about the supplies- so it would not be so suspicious. Cover our tracks so the Nyx can not trace the supplies back to the Organization."
"General Crow, you and your men shall assist General Dayne. Captain Cadel? You will have your men assist General Dayne as well. Work together men! We can take the Nyx down permanently!" the Commander bellowed, grinning broadly. Which was quite...odd, since the Commander did not exactly know how to grin well- his grin end up being creepy.

Character:: Cadel Carthak Location:: Organization HQ, Conference Room
---
Cadel lowered his eyes and ignored Crow's attempts to get his attention. Besides the fact that he felt Crow was trying to provoke him, those gleaming red eyes were rather difficult to look into. Uneasiness pricked through his body whenever he was forced to stare at the general's face.
He watched with idle eyes when Dayne almost got into an argument with Crow over the flaws in his plan. It's not as if Cadel hadn't spotted them, but Crow just seemed to like picking a bone with everybody. The dark-haired man was used to it by now, but usually it was rather difficult to rouse Dayne's attention at all, so Crow had accomplished something there.
Either way, this was the best they had, unless they felt like hitting the Nyx head-on in some kind of suicide mission. The organization wasn't quite desperate enough for that one. At the moment, they were on stable footing, and hopefully this would just be the next step in flushing out those criminals, and not the other way around.
"Very well Commander. Should we begin plotting locations for such an ambush? If so, I believe an area bordering the rivers would be a good place." He successfully brushed aside the strangeness of the older man's smile and returned it with one of his own. It was almost his trademark in the military by now.

Character:: Felicity Garth Location:: Organization HQ, Shooting Range
---
Felicity, or 'Felix' as they called her now, wandered through the half deserted hallways of the headquarters to find the shooting range she'd been spending her free time at for the last month or so. She knew nobody else would be there, after all, the people that mattered were all attending that big strategy conference. If she was going, and she probably would, this could be the biggest slice of action she'd seen in... ever. It's true, she hadn't been in any major conflicts since she'd been accepted in. Weather or not that was a bad thing eluded her, but as long as she survived with something good in her track record, it would work out fine. Not to mention the fact it would warrant her to a couple extra drinks at the bar.
She pushed the heavy door open and breathed in. The strangely comforting scent of gunpowder was sprinkled lightly around the room. The girl drew the dual pistols she kept with her out slowly and filled them with blanks. She was pleased to see that there really wasn't anybody else here and slipped on her headphones and goggles. Rolling the baggy sleeves up to her elbows, she took a shot.

Character:: The Commander (NPC) Location:: Organization headquarters, Conference Room
The Commander shook his head at Cadel’s suggestion. “No, the river will not too. That is too conspicuous. We shall have the ambush in the forest. Traps will be laid in these sections!” He directed the red laser at the three different locations on the map, forming a triangle. “So no one will be able to escape! General Dayne, I will also send three separate squadrons of men helping you. Captain Cassandra? Have the Junior and Common members on standby for the ambush! I want this mission to be a one hit K.O shot! There cannot be any mistakes or failures! Understand?”
Just then, a subordinate burst into the room and darted to the Commander’s side whispering into his ear. The Commander widened his eyes and clenched his fist.
“I want every one of you to get ready and set off for this mission immediately! This meeting is dismissed!” the Commander ordered, standing up and pushing his chair back. He stalked out of the office with the subordinate at his heels, but motion Dayne and Crow to follow him.

Character:: Christopher "Crow" Scar Location:: Organization headquarters, Conference Room
Crow stood up and flashed Cadel a cocky grin. "Seems like the Commander shot down your idea Captain Cadel. Well, better luck next time, huh?" He turned, black hair streaming down his back, and exited the room. Crow, contrary to how others felt about him, adored his personality. He wished there was someone out there like him. Wait...who was he kidding? He wouldn't care for another person like him, humanity was a joke. Morals were a joke. Living your life being a sarcastic, sadistic a*****e was far better off than these idiots in the room. At least you can't be blindsided because you'll know not to trust anyone.
(Note: Kelethor won't be posting until tomorrow maybe. And I am not sure when Currupted Dart will be back on. So for now, Nyx characters will have to remain in the conference room until the talk is over)

LCσATIσN:: Nyx, Conference room CαRαCTΣR:: Eve Remone Strazzon
✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ Eve's lips pulled back tightly revealing straight white teeth; it was true that her husband kept them waiting, but he enjoyed it in his own way. Eve had no odea what was keeping him but it must have been pretty important to leave during the night. The woman's chest gave a pang of sadness that Strike would have to sneak away without so much as leaving a note.
The woman would never show her soft side to this crowd, it was not in her nature and would no doubt bring humilation upon her. Eve only trusted Dolly with such thinling, but even then it set the woman uneasey
"I don't know what he's up to. Didn't say a word to me this morning; just up and left." At least half of it was true, "I'm sure he's doing somethign beneficial."

✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ The male took his seat and shot a glare towards Crow, this man pissed Dayne off to no ends. As Commander's voice boomed his disaproval at the last comment, Dayne turned to his boss and nodded his head at his orders.
Dayne rose to leave but when Commander motioned for him and Crow to follow, the male felt unease creep into him. Had he done something wrong? That was an understatement and Dayne had a haunting feeling that he knew what this was about.
Grinning rather widely Dayne made a non-to-gentlemanly hand motion at Crow before exiting the room before him; thankfully Commander was ahead of them both.

Character: Akana Massri LocationNyx HQ, Conference room
Akana nodded, accepting the answer although she was curious as to what exactly was keeping him. None of my business, she thought, chiding herself. Still, there was the ever-present part of her that was always inspecting the her surroundings. Akana used to have a childlike wonder for the world around her, but now that innocence was tainted. Still, she loved discovering new things about the people around her, although it served a more selfish purpose.
Sighing softly to herself, Akana flicked a few strands of dark hair impatiently out of her face. She was getting fidgety and didn't really mind showing it. Akana liked to be moving, or actively involved in something. Waiting wasn't something that came easily for her unless it served a pressing purpose.

Cadel nodded to the Commander. Oh well. The man was right after all. The Nyx would have known that being cornered near water would be too easy. He pursed his lips at that thought, he was underestimating them. He wasn't sure about the forest, it provided too much tree cover for any Nyx members, but they had enough troops to pull it off, provided nothing would pick them off from above. He heard Crow's voice ring him out from his thoughts and was about to glare at the other man before catching himself. "At least I contributed something this time General." He said with an even tone. He only faintly heard the Commander's command and was a bit late to stand up. He wondered why the meeting ended so abruptly, had they made a movement ahead of schedule? He didn't pause to worry about it, if they had, the Commander would have scrapped the plans and composed a new one.
Cadel informed his faction, or 'pack' as he sometimes called them, of the plan. It was a short debriefing, because all he needed to do was inform them of location and formation, as well as speak a few words of encouragement. After that, he didn't really know what to do. He'd expected the meeting to take longer, so there was now an empty block of time in his [loose] schedule.

Character:: Felicity Garth Location:: Organization headquarters, Shooting Range

Slowly but surely, Felicity heard life echo through the hallways outside as people were informed of their duties. She ought to go find out what the hell she was supposed to be doing as well, but couldn't be bothered enough to put down her gun. Her aim was good today, she'd almost tattered the diagram on the other side. A few of her shots had rung wild, true, but the mistakes were few and far in-between. In combat, she'd have to be almost spotless.

Character:: Christopher "Crow" Scar Location::Organization Headquarters, Conference Room
Crow paused at the door when he heard Cadel's ending comment to him. "Touché Captain, touché," he responded with a broad gleaming grin. Then he turned and trailed the Commander. He raised his eyebrows at Dayne's gesture.
"My, my General, did I hit someone's nerves?" Crow murmured under his breath, his grin as cocky as ever.
--- Character:: The Commander (NPC) Location:: Organization headquarters, Conference hall
The Commander walked briskly ahead, though not caring to explain why he was in a rush. He tilted his head back to look at the two Generals that were behind him.
"Generals," the Commander spoke, his voice surprisingly soft and low. "I did not want to say it in front of the others but I want this mission to be completed no matter what. So, do what you must to get this done, understand? If anyone stands in the way- take them down. The Nyx stands as the most important obstacle now and they must be gotten rid off. If they don't comply with our terms, then eliminate them. Sacrifices must be made..."
The Commander trailed off but his eyes flashed quickly. Sacrifices would have to be made to ensure that this mission goes well. The Commander meant business. He was a man that believed in republicanism, everyone will have sacrifice for the common good. If sacrificing a few lives would ensure the greater good- then so be it.
"And I hope you two Generals are not having an conflict of some sort," the Commander cautioned, giving Crow a look. "Other men I can afford to lose, you two, I can not."

Character:: Dolly Cathers Location:: Nyx headquarters, Conference room
Dolly looked up and nodded. Funny that Strake would not even tell Eve his whereabouts. But Dolly never really understood that guy anyways. She stood up and crossed over to the small, barely visible window at the back of the room. The shades were drawn tight so no light could pour in. She pulled the drapes back a bit to peer out. It looked over the front of the building and Dolly could visible see her men lounging outside with their horses. "I have a man attached to the back of my horse, after this meeting I have to tend to it," Dolly mused out loud to herself, she had a knack for doing that. Dolly had been dragging the male for about half a mile from the towns. If she hadn't remembered the meeting, he probably would still be trailing the ground behind her horse.
The truth was, it was his own fault that this happened to him. If he had just kept his mouth shut like everyone else, she wouldn't have to do it. Not that actually mind...but still. It made her look bad but some people, just had to be taught a lesson.
"So hopefully, Strake won't take his time dallying and get here," Dolly remarked.

Character: Akana Massri Location:Nyx HQ, Conference room
Akana gazed towards the window Dolly had approached, a wry expression of amusement appearing when she took note of the man Dolly was speaking of. She had met so many interesting people since coming to The Nyx; oddities were simply accepted or even embraced. Very different from how her home had been, and even the streets outside the Nyx's territory had a different feeling to them.
Clark had been silent most of the time, and Akana vacillated between striking up another conversation with him or waiting for the meeting to start. Instead of playing with her hair, she pulled out one of her small knives and began twirling it slowly by the handle between her deft fingers, the candlelight reflecting off its shining blade making the steel appear golden.
"Clark, did you travel? Before you came to the Nyx?" she asked, still playing with her knife. "I think I may have crossed paths with you once, but I may be mistaken."

Character:: Clark G. McArthur Location:: Nyx HQ, Conference room
The question suprised him, which rarely ever happened. Clark tried to recall if he had ever seen her befor Nyx. The knife was distracting too, the sudden flashes of light reflecting off of it had begun bothering his eyes.
"Yes." He began, after a pause. "I was traveling for a good six years, give or take a couple of months before I settled here. I visited about twenty different communities during that time. So it is possible."
He was glad for the direct conversation. The group talk was causing him to get more and more secluded from the meeting. Like his name, Clark didn't keep secrets about his past. If anyone in the room wanted him dead they could have done it several times over.
He was suprised the meeting hadn't began yet. It was unlike Alpha, as Clark always refered to him as, to be so late. Especially for a meeting considered so urgent.

Akana stopped twirling the knife and placed it carefully back where she had it hidden. She paused and looked him up and down, his face striking a familiar chord somewhere in a distant memory. Laughing quietly, she shook her head.
"I think I know where I met you. You were helping some gang, and I happened to take advantage of one of the members. Tricked him into giving me all his money," she remembered clearly now. He had looked different, but so had she. "I must have been sixteen still. But I remember seeing you when I was getting away."
Akana was pleased. She couldn't believe it, something about Clark had always nagged at her, and now she knew what it was. "Maybe I'm wrong," she said, just in case, "It was a while ago."

✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ The woman's thoughts wandered against her will, she hated daydreaming but seemed to be doing it more and more. With her arms crossed over her chest she drummed her fingers on her arm and stared at the space past Clark.
As Dolly rose up look out the window only Eve's ears followed her, her mind was elseware and her eyes distant. The question as to why Strake left her last night creeped back into her skull and she felt a pang of fear and sadness all roled up into one big mess.
Eve let out a sigh and dropped her feet to the floor with a dull thud, she couldn't take it anymore, Starke's secretive nature had finally taken its toll and she bit back tears as she forced her voice to stay steady. "I'll be right back."
She stood and rather hastily walked out the door.

✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ The male growled in his throat as he tore his gaze from Crow, that b*****d pissed him off so bad! He couldn't understand why Commander felt Dayne had to work with him; the male's ears picked up Commander's last comment and was confused as to why the two of them were so valuable.
Dayne grinned widely as he reflected on sacrifices being made for the greater good; it felt like WW2 all over again and Dayne liked it. He felt a thin bond to Adolf Hitler and shivered at the thought, this was going to be good. He'd make sure of that
"How do you suggest we set up this trap? I honestly didnt think you'd like the idea so I didn't go into further detail."

Akana watched the girl leave, concerned. Eve was upset about something; it was easy to see from the tense set of her shoulders and the uncharacteristically hurried footsteps that thumped softly as Eve left. Akana's dark eyes followed her out of the room but she didn't follow the girl, feeling that Eve had needed to escape from people more than she needed advice or comfort.
After a short silence, Akana turned her attention back to Clark, wanting to see if he possibly remembered her or if she had simply imagined their encounter.
