Nobody Famous Madame_Fluffy Countess Annabelle Moore >>Maybe it's her humanity. Like, she still has too much of her humanity left in her and she finds that killing a human, even for their blood, is disgusting and wrong. Maybe it's because since she decided to become a vampire, she knew she would be drinking animal blood. The others didn't know about that life pre-change so maybe it affects how you think post-change. Or, it could simply be that since the Cullens were known to be 'vegetarians', she simply adopted that lifestyle of choice. I'm sorry, but I have to side with satanicwatermelon on this one: if anyone--vampire or otherwise--drinks animal blood, they're not vegetarians. ::LOL:: Never said that the term was an accurate one. XD I feel the same way you both do. You drink blood - no matter what kind - you're a damned vampire. End of story. If Meyer was looking for a term to describe vampires that did not feast on human blood, I think 'virgin vampires' would be a better choice. :/ Sort of like the same lines when you order a virgin drink - it's the same as the regular drink just without the alcohol. In this case, they're simply substituting animal blood for human blood.

>>"Vegetarian" is not their technical name. It's just a little joke the Cullen's came up with because they drink the blood of something not many of their kind do.
Humans eat meat. Vegetarians eat vegetables. Vampires drink human blood. Cullens/Denalis drink animal blood.
.....I'm going to agree on Bella's maturity/maternal instincts popping out of nowhere. She started getting annoying with her love triangle in Eclipse but in BD she was really just too perfect. "And then suddenly, I wasn't in love with Jacob anymore because he imprinted on my daughter, which I should have killed him for but it's a good thing Seth got in the way!" "I have perfect control of my powers AND bloodlust! I make Emmett and Jasper lose bets. HA!"

Please, tell me those latter two sentences were jokes and not direct quotes from the book. ::sweatdrops:: In regards to the vegetarian thing - the thing is, there's a significant difference between meat and vegetables, but not much in the terms of blood (its the same substance - just the blood is different). Come to think of it - I'm surprised the Cullens were not completely ostracized from the vampire coven/society by refusing to treat humans as they were meant to be treated - like cattle to the vampires. (I recall Interview with a Vampire and how Lestat reacted when he caught Louie drinking chicken blood - it was, like, the biggest insult to a vampire to be drinking anything other than human blood. Classic!)

Drinking ANY sort of blood is NOT vegetarianism, unless it's plant blood, and since that doesn't exist, the Cullens are NOT vegetarian vampires. You want a vegetarian vampire? Go read Bunnicula.

>>Pfft, of course they're jokes. Just like the Cullens calling themselves "vegetarians." It's a joke. Get it? Just a joke. No need to get your knickers in a twist.

Awww Bunnicula, the true vegetarian vampire X3
And I'm backing Countess up on this one. The Cullens call themselves that as an inside joke. SMeyer never officially called them that. 3nodding

I brought Bunnicula in as a reference to a true vegetarian vampire to argue against the Cullens being "vegetarian vamps".
Back on topic, then:
Edward is a creepy-assed stalker. Seriously, WHY go and break into a girl's house to watch her sleep? REALLY?
