The vendor smiled, very sheepishly, and scooped up two plum-flavored ice cream scoops, placed them in cones, and gave them the ice cream.
Tykier got his, and licked it. "Mmm!!! It's very delicious!!!" He started to eat it.

"Thank you." 'Zuba murmured to the vendor, taking her ice cream. She took a bite out of it, pausing before nodding in agreement with him. "Very." she concurred, enjoying the cold dessert.

Taking a few bites out of his ice cream, he began to look around to see what to do next... He was enjoying himself, as well as the ice cream!

'Zuba glanced around, looking at the other booths. There was just so much to do and look at! "Kimonos like yours." she commented, motioning to one of the booths. They had some pretty ones for girls, too. "Fabrics look nice." She said, taking another bite of her ice-cream. She wanted one, two. The boy had a nice one, and she'd seen a few other people dressed up in them....
She wanted one. She'd have to ask Mother, though. She doubted she had enough gold for them.

He followed her eye to the kimono booth, then smiled, "So, you want a kimono..? Mine's a man's kimono... You'll be better off with a woman's one," Ty explained to her. "Otherwise, you'll have to work with these shoulder things," he pointed out.

Zuba blinked, not really understanding the difference; both were pretty. "Want...but will ask Mother later." she said, nodding once. No need to drag him over there; from what she'd gathered, boys generally hated clothes shopping. Okay, so by 'boys', she meant she'd observed Mother's boyfriend at the mall, but it still applied, right?

'Zuba was wrong about Tykier not wanting to go clothes shopping. "Come on..! I bet we could find you the perfect kimono!" He lead her to the outdoor shop, by means of gently pushing her towards the booth.

'Zuba blinked as she was pushed forward towards the shop; she definitely hadn't expected that. "Um...." She wanted to protest, but Tykier seemed excited over such a little thing...how could she say no? Of course, when it came time to buy it, she could use the "I have no money, but I'll ask my mom" line, and just happen to "forget" to ask. After all, she didn't need something that pretty....even if other people had them and she wanted one too... Okay, maybe she WOULD ask Mother for one.

He saw her look, smiled, and laughed a bit, then said, "Here, I'll pay for that..." He was truly a nice guy, and wanted to help her gain some self-confidence...

'Zuba's reaction was instant; she began shaking her head. "No! Don't have to...." she said, almost panicking. She was NOT going to let him spend so much gold on someone like her! Absolutely NOT!

He laughed, "No, it's okay! I don't mind it at all..!!! It's my allowance, and I want to spend it by getting you a nice kimono..!!!" He smiled his usual calm, and serene smile. He then paid the cashier.
He just gently received the gold, and placed the kimono on a hanger, in a dress bag. The cashier then gave it to Tykier.
Tykier thanked the man, and gave the bag to 'Zuba. "There..! Now you have a beautiful kimono to wear..!!!"

'Zuba wasn't sure whether to be grateful or horrified. He'd just bought her a dress the was WAY too pretty for her, and that cost a lot of gold. She took the bag with her free hand before rifling throught her pockets.
"Here." she said, holding out the little cloth purse that held the remainder of her gold. "You take. Pay rest back later." she said, her voice firm. She was not taking no for an answer.

"Er..." Tykier stammered as 'Zuba giving him her purse. "I think your parents would freak if you gave me your gold..."

'Zuba shook head. "Tell Mother it was for kimono. No worries; no freak. So take." She offered a faint smile, hoping that'd help convince him.

Tykier took the purse, "Okay..." It was weird for him to take gold from a woman. His Mom told him to always be nice to females. So he got the gold(not in a greedy sort of way), and placed them in his pocket wallet(which has a chain connected to his belt loop). He gave it back to her.
