Kae slowly opened her eyes, yawning and stretching her arms.
"Morning..." she said, putting her arms down and smiling. "I hope you've been well?"

"I have been better," Falco admitted as the bickering among his guardian and sprite continued. "They have been at it ever since you left," Falco then added as an explaination.
"What am I supposed to do? Allow the foul mouthed thing to turn Falco into a hooligan?" Sarah retorted savagely glaring at the sprite.
"Uh-huh...right. And like you do not treat him like a two year old," said the sprite rolling his eyes. " The boy should be killing stuff right now and yet...what has he ever done? Blergh, he can't even do magic,"

"Eek," the wind spirit said, looking somewhat guilty. Deciding not to comment further on the subject for fear of angering either party, Kaelyn smoothed down her dress and stood up.
"Alrighty, Falco and Sarah, are you ready to begin the lesson?" She asked, smiling. "Dirk, we won't need you right away, so feel free to relax."

"I'm ready ," said Falco after chucking Dirk onto a nearby rock. "Let's get started,"
"Hmph, good riddance to bad rubbish," huffed Sarah before facing their instructor. "I'm ready too miss Kaelyn,"
Dirk meanwhile sat sulking on the rock where he was left. This was boring and the sprite amplified it by yawning loudly ever so often.

"First, and most importantly, you have to work together on this," Kaelyn said, looking slightly (not much) less sleepy in 'teacher mode'. "While Falco's magic has gotten stronger as he's grown, it's still necessary for you, Sarah, the guardian, to support it with your own power until it has fully matured."
That said, Kae nodded.
"The element of wind has many different purposes. It can give flight to the flightless, both living and nonliving, and can be used for both offensive and defensive purposes. We'll start off by working on manipulation, then move onto more specific tasks."

"Manipulation? As in making it do what we want it to?" Falco asked incredulously. The idea of actually making such a strong force of nature bend to someone's will sounded a bit unnatural to the zahdl.
"Come on Falco, in big cities and stuff people use the wind to generate electricity, fire to cook and so on and so forth. It will be great or...are you afraid Falco?,"
"No, at least I don't think I am," replied Falco shrugging. "Knowledge is knowledge and how someone uses it is entirely up to that particular being. I just find it hard to swallow that we are going to aquire that knowledge," said Falco before turning to grin at his instructor. " So, what do we do first?"

"Well, seeing as how the weather is fairly quiet today," Kaelyn began, gesturing to the still grass behind her, "we shall begin with calling up a small wind. It is better to start small to prevent oneself from tiring out."
Kaelyn put her hand on her chest.
"Every being has a wellspring of energy within them. In the case of Zahdl, and some other beings, they happen to have a great deal more. I want you to try and reach down and grasp that energy with your mind. Trust me, you'll know it when you feel it."

After the Halloween fiasco, Myu found herself back at her room in the barracks. Weeks flew by, and she hadn't heard from any of the other Zahdl or anyone. Not like she really cared because she honestly didn't. Nyx was enough to handle, so being around someone else would just be...burdensome. Though, it was still...odd.
Shuffling about, Myu noticed a small piece of parchment that looked a tad suspicious on a piece of dusty furniture. The parchment itself appeared to be dusty as if it too had over stayed its welcome.
Walking over to it, Myu picked it up to read its contents only to filled with anger.
"Nyx," the teen started, her voice not changing its tone. "when did we receive this letter?"
The guardian snorted, almost amused by the question Myu had asked her. How was she supposed to know when they received this letter? She didn't even remember seeing it until now. "Why? What does it say?"
Of course, Nyx wouldn't know. She doesn't know anything. It was ignorant of Myu to give Nyx the benefit of the doubt. "Apparently, I'm missing some training. We must go. Now."
Myu wouldn't turn this opportunity down. It was a chance for her to get stronger.
"Where to?"
Without answering, Myu made her way to the plains, a place she frequently visited. To her surprise, class was already in session.

"Reach down huh? " Falco said as he closed his eyes and tried to find this 'wellspring of energy'. Before anything could be accomplished however, his thoughts were interupted by Dirk who spotted someone in the distance.
"Angry chick heading this way," the sprite said sounding the alarm.
"Chick?" Falco said looking towards the indicated direction. "That's no chick. That's Myu!"
"So it is," said Sarah who had also been trying to focus ( and was last to notice the approaching figure). "She must have got the message Kaelyn sent,"

"Ah, so she did receive the message," Kaelyn mused aloud. She thought that she had left the message somewhere noticeable, but knowing her, it had fallen to the floor or something equally trite.
"Welcome," she said waving a hand, "we were just starting. Please, join us."
She smiled her lazy smile.

So they were just starting? This pleased Myu seeing as she hadn't missed anything, whatever this anything might be. She wasn't actually sure what this whole thing was about, but Myu was sure it would be beneficial.
"Thanks!" Nyx chimed happily. She too was up for whatever was thrown her away. "Well. I'm Nyx, if you don't know. I'm sure Falco does, or I'd have to have Myu whack him on the head."
"...Which I wouldn't..."

"I remeber Miss Myu and Nyx well enough," Falco said laughing at Nyx's remark as well as Myu's flustered looking face. "Great to see you guys again! It has been quite a while!"
"Please to meet you," Sarah said greeting the duo. "Perhaps now Falco will feel the urge to strive better now that he has a competition,"
"I doubt it...," Dirk said dryly. "You see, when a boy meets a girl...,"
"Dirk...Falco and Myu are just friends," said Sarah irritated.
"Yeah, my point exactly mother hen; friends... Perhaps someone should teach you biology before yo-mffft,"
"That is...enough Dirk," Falco said pouncing onto the sprite. "Your mouth will definitelyget you into trouble one day,"
