Tvinna looked back at Godric and smiled brightly. "We found it!" She repeated, almost in awe.
(I thought they were in the river the whole time)

"Yep, we did. I think that we can find anything if we want it badly enough." Godric chuckled as he sat in the water of the pool deeper. It was true that they seemed to always find what they were looking for. Or maybe it was just they were diviners of water?

Tvinna blinked as she felt herself being pulled closer to the edge of the cliff where the water was pouring down. "Hey Godric! Am I supposed to get out now?" She asked an obvious question, but it was the best one she could come up with at the moment.

"Well, you can get out when you wan..." He trailed off. Godric hadn't noticed how close Tvinna had gotten the the waterfall itself. "Oh, no I mean yes!" He was confused for a moment before swimming over to her and tried to pulled her back the other way.

Tvinna looked at Godric with a nervous smile, and her eye even twitched slightly. She grabbed at him as she tried to swim away, making little distance away from the current.

"Keep swimming. I know you can do it." Even Godric could feel the pull of the current now. Why had he not noticed this before? Was it just the sheer beauty of it? Had he been lost in it? Godric did his best to swim and try to reach Tvinna as well.

Tvinna shook her head as Godric got closer. "No, you'll get pulled in too!" She could feel her arms and legs growing weak and she had to fight to just not give up.

Godric knew she was right, but that didn't stop him. He swam after her with his front paws reaching out. "Almost there." He said as he tried to reach her knowing that soon he two would go over as well.

Tvinna pushed her back paws on the ground, the only thing left she could do to keep from getting sucked in. She reached out and grabbed his paw. Then, her fotting slipped on the gravely bottom of the river and she went face-first into the water and looking all traction against the current.

Godric grabbed her paw and then began to pull hopping that he could do it. His back paws were dug into the river floor as well. He could barely keep his face above water.

Tvinna tried to regain her footing, but the current kept her paws form staying on the bottom for longer than an instant. Not wanting to be the cause of possible injury to Godric she closed her eyes, held her breath, and let go.

Godric looked as he felt Tvinna let go of his paws. "NO!" He called but he could tell it was too late...at least for him to try to grab her in the water. Not unless he wanted to go to.
The male swam to shore and began to run on the side. He wanted to try and find a rope or something that he could catch her with. He knew it would more then likely be too late, but he had to try something.

Tvinna tried to keep her head above the water as the current sucked her further away from the river's edge and closer to the falls. She didn't try to fight it, and she could feel herself growing weaker anyways. At least she had saved Godric, she thought to herself. That small fact was enough to passify her spirit and warm her heart. She took one last breath, slowly closed her eyes, and felt herself weightless among the crashing water.

Godric called to her, "TVINNA!" As he could no longer her see her head above the water. What was he doing? He wasn't helping her...just watching her go... no he thought.
Godric ran around the shore till he found some thick vines. He tied one end to a tree and then tossed the other out into the water. He hoped it wasn't too later. If it was, he hoped the waterfall was a small one and she would survive it.

Tvinna felt enormous pressure all around her as the water pulled her down. She could hardly move, and that was limited to a mear twitch of an ear or finger, of a slight turn of the head. Then that was all softer as it seemed to slowly disappate, and she found herself in a deep pit. She was quickly running out of air, so she struggled to swim up and away, but she could feel her legs growing weaker and her vision hazier as the light abover her seemed to not be growing any closer.
