Jokerman-EXE Gaia Name: Jokerman-EXE Character Name: Isaac Screwstrip Gender: Male Age: 21 Species: Clockwork Knight Skills: Isaac is an incredibly skilled mechanic (obviously) and inventor. Physical Description: Gangly, thin, and pale, Isaac definitely needs to get out more. His dark blond hair is thick, and long enough to almost reach his eyes. He has no facial hair or incredibly defining features, although his eyes are an amber color due to extensive modification. Personality: Isaac is truly talented, but he is always second-guessing himself and never has any real confidence. He likes to put other people first and let himself sink into the background. Morally, Isaac has a hard time speaking out against things he disagrees with, but for himself is very proud to be allied with the Hunter's Coven and staunchly upholds their ideals. Biography: Isaac is the happy son of loving parents, both of whom were high-ranked mechanics working under and closely with the Chief Mechanic. The two were excellent at their job, and at being parents. Their son was a quick learner and had incredible natural talent. However, as the son of such prestigious people, he always felt inferior, like a student, although this was not due to any fault in his parents. In fact, they tried to teach him to be great. Still, he remained shy and withdrawn. He is obviously old enough to remember when the factions allied themselves with each other. Raised by such patriotic individuals, Isaac obviously had strong ties to his faction, and thus, to the Coven. Alliance: Hunter's Coven Group Membership: Clockwork Knights Supernatural Abilities: Isaac is equipped for combat, although he hates fighting. Within his forearms are rotating saws, in the form of tonfas. Specialized nozzles in his fingers allow him to use his steam in high-pressure jets to heat or burn organics, and make a small smokescreen. In his thighs are specialized compartments that hold various tools, like small wrenches and screwdrivers, and attachments for his body that enable him to perform his work easier. His hands can be quickly adjusted into drills, and there are razor-sharp blades in his knuckles and heels that are retractable. In his wrists are steam-powered lead slug throwers. His eyes are replaced with ocular implants that allow him to see further, as well as in magical and infrared modes. Gaia Name: Jokerman-EXE Character Name: Victor Le Treu Gender: Male Age: 21 Species: Human - Unified Skills: A skilled manipulator, Victor is well-versed in verbal combat and manipulation, and in mediation and pretty much everything that has to do with using words to make others do what he wants. He is also moderately skilled in Tae Kwon Do , although it's nothing to brag about. Physical Description: Tall, thin, and rather painfully wiry, Victor is pale, with thick black hair. His arms are rather long, as are his legs, and his usual attire consists of dark pants and a long-sleeve shirt. He wears a long blindfold over his eyes; he's blind. Personality: Calculating and manipulative, Victor can take on any aspect necessary to get his way. He can pretend to be a great friend, or a vicious beast of an opponent. He always appears calm and in control, but at times of stress, he shows that he is actually bitter at the world for his circumstances, and has a general misanthropy. Biography: Victor has not been blind since birth. He was blinded in a car accident at age 15. Always an antisocial misanthrope, he grew even more bitter and withdrawn after his accident. He was approached by an agent of the Cabal, who could not offer to replace his sight, but to give him another method of doing so. Victor agreed, and went in to become a Unified. The operation went well, and he was bonded to a Demon Minor. His lost sight was replaced with a magical sight, which was stronger due to his lack of mundane sight. However, now that he had what he wanted, he saw no further use for the Cabal, and became apathetic regarding its goals. He is still technically a member of it, but he hardly goes out of his way to do anything for them. Still, if asked, he claims membership, and he would defend them from slander or insult. It's the least he can do for new sight. Alliance: Cabal Coalition...sort of. Group Membership: The Unity...sort of. Supernatural Abilities: Victor, like all Unified, is not detectable magically. Also, his magical sight is above average, being that it is his only sight. His magical skills are average, as are his physical ones. Gaia Name: Jokerman-EXE Character Name: Calleoch Voltorni Gender: Male Age: 31 Species: Psion Skills: Calleoch is skilled in the standard Illuminati skills of photographic memory and advanced learning, and has a very sharp scientific mind. He can process information at an incredible rate, and has reflexes to match. Physical Description: Neither overly muscled nor scrawny, Calleoch is a very forgettable figure, which is perhaps a useful trait in his line of work. His face and hair are fair, with no discerning features other than tiny golden flecks in his irises. Personality: He is a very calculating person, and has almost no emotional connection to anything - yet. His demeanor is very cold, and he does not appear to understand social norms. He is unintentionally blunt and abrasive. Biography: Calleoch's childhood was as uniform as an agent of the Illuminati could be. He was almost the exact paragon of what the IIB wanted: a faceless, forgettable, sharp mind with skill in psionics. He has been trained since birth and serves the IIB's interests with little concern for himself. Alliance: Alliance of Tyrg Group Membership: Psion Union Supernatural Abilities: Calleoch is a skilled Psion, so he has the power to affect reality with his mind. Beyond that, he has developed the ability to read others' minds without causing them intense pain. However, the more he tries to read, the more noticeable it rapidly becomes, so he usually only gets surface feelings. Gaia Name: Jokerman-EXE Character Name: Tanto Gender: None (Although he prefers a male form) Age: 6290 Species: Demon-Major Skills: Tanto is a skilled fighter with his two-handed claymore. Of course, for a demon of his size, that's one hell of a big sword. He is also surprisingly agile for one so large, although not more so than a regular sized being. Physical Description: In his humanoid form, Tanto is a dark, devastatingly handsome man. He is tall, muscled, and cultured, although none of that matters to his actual ability. In this form, he always wears glasses that obscure his eyes, because they always remain their original color: deep purple. In his demonic form, Tanto is a large, black and purple creature, similar in stature and makeup to a gigantic suit of Gothic armor, about thirteen feet tall and with an open helmet to reveal his countenance: a smiling, needle-toothed visage with violet eyes. Personality: Conniving and cruel, Tanto constantly tests people and toys with them just to see how they react. He rarely believes himself at fault and will justify any one of his actions. He can be cruel and heartless, then shrug it off like a bad shirt and move on to another activity, seemingly without realizing how vicious he was being.. Biography: Tanto was one of the Angelic Lieutenants at the time of the Fall, meaning that he occupied a position comfortably in the middle of the Heavenly Hierarchy. He was one to fall, casting off his Angelic name to take the name Tanto. He has since spent millenia training to perfect his form and style, eventually mastering the notoriously wild Chaos and bending it to his will. It took him thousands of years, but it was worth it, as he is now a force to be reckoned with. He works with the Outlander Confederation simply because it allows him the freedom of movement he needs, and it's much less of a hassle for him. Alliance: Outlander Confederation Group Membership: Knight of Moloch Supernatural Abilities: Tanto is a Wielder of Chaos, meaning that he can warp both Reality and Unreality. Unfortunately, Chaos being what it is, the effects are rather random. Tanto is also a skilled kineticist and swordsman, with thousands of years of experience and training. Winnar.

Gaia Name: SirBayer Character Name: James Lee Johnstone Gender: Male Age: 32 Species: Human, caucasian. Resurrected. Skills: Johnstone is a business man. He has skills related to such things like that - paperwork. Beyond that he's a minor intellectual, having gone through college and what not. He knows a little coding, but that way of work has since gone by. Physical Description: Johnstone is of average height and heavy, non-muscular, fatty build. His hair is cut at a decent, normal length, he keeps clean-shaven, and generally dresses like a normal human being. He counteracts this by occasionally allowing his Warlock Soul to overpower his normal senses, and he acts generally like a knight. A rather dark knight, but a knight nonetheless, with a strong sense of fair fighting. Personality: James is influenced heavily by his Warlock Soul, and strongly believes in a few of the basics of chivalry. He’s ironically still selfish enough to fight for his own good, which is why he’s a member of the Cabal. Nonetheless, he constantly tries to make fights or conflicts fair, which frustrates teammates to no end. He very, very rarely will take advantage of an unfair advantage. Biography: Johnstone worked his way up in Microsoft from nothing. He started as a bottom-level coder and worked his way up through the ranks, realizing a moderate-paying managerial position, still fairly far down. It was while he was here that his Warlock Soul awakened and told him what had happened. For whatever reason, his Soul awoke far too late for the initial conflict. It introduced itself as Moses Lakeman (after explaining the Cabal) and told him he needed to speak with Legion. He proceeded to do so and join the Cabal. He ended up sacrificing his job for this, but didn’t mind all too much. Alliance: Cabal Coalition Group Membership: The Cabal Supernatural Abilities: Johnstone is an Evoker, with Elementalism and some skill as a Demoniac behind him. He tends to focus on fire, and summoning repeatedly a nasty little demonic bull.

Gaia Name: SirBayer Character Name: Cassandra Hammerich Gender: Female Age: 25 Species: Germanic Caucasian human. Skills: Cassandra does not have much in the way of normal combat training. She has some shooting training and knows how to throw a grenade and fix a wound, but her only other mundane skills are artistry and cooking as both are hobbies. Physical Description: Cassandra is unusually tall and unusually thin (her metabolism is ridiculous), at the cost of substantial femininity. Not particularly buxom but at least with some sort of female shape, she shows more as a wraith than a model. Her hair is a silverish-blonde and comes to her shoulder-blades, and her eyes are a very light, almost whitish blue. She dresses impractically when left to herself (some chump on the top named McCulloch enforces uniforms whenever possible), with rather a penchant for long skirts and backless clothing, not to mention sandals or just going barefoot. Classic to any up-in-the-air-headed girl, she insists on wearing a little golden pendant with some anonymous heart’s desire’s picture within. Whether this person is alive or still attracted to her is entirely annoyingly uncertain. Personality: Cassandra is not incredibly feminine, and sort of floats in the ground between tomboy and uber-girl. Either way she has a remarkable disrespect for the fact she is a girl. She’s rather unfocused and head-in-the-clouds, probably because of her ability. She never really focuses on anything, and prefers to multi-task. Single critical objectives rarely work for her. She enjoys eating and isn’t particularly sensitive to her weight, which is hideously unfair since as has been said she’s got a ridiculous metabolism. She doesn’t relish shooting or killing people, but she knows that she has an obligation. It used to be that she severely lacked friends because she was insufferably honest. She has since overcome the flaw, but under extreme stress will suddenly fall back to unintentionally insulting anyone and everyone nearby. Biography: Born to a German father and American mother, Cassandra is bilingually fluent, but grew up exclusive in the United States. She discovered her overly sensitive third eye during a skirmish between the Coven and the Tyrg alliance by tracking a Tyrg operative for several Coven soldiers and allowing them to get the drop on him and kill him. They hired her shortly thereafter. Alliance: Hunters’ Coven Group Membership: Warlock Hunters (No special group.) Supernatural Abilities: She’s extremely, extremely perceptive to magic, to the point of being able to read the past and even occasionally foresee upcoming events and frequently to read souls enough to see emotion and potential actions (more occasionally). She’s also capable of limited elementalism and healing as a sort of defensive measure should her rifle be unavailable or her foresight insufficient defense.
Gaia Name: SirBayer Character Name: Patrick Petrachkov Gender: Male Age: 33 Species: Russian-Irish human. Skills: Pistol and rifle shooting to high degrees, and especially with a scoped weapon. Stalking an area and generally being a completely invisible sniper. Speaks English and Russian fluently. Physical Description: Patrick is not very tall but very broad. He stands at 5’ 10” but weighs 230 lbs. His hair is shaved short and even, and is more or less a reddish-brown. His eyes are an electric green and somewhat small for his face. His entire face is somewhat flat and angular, and very Russian. He wears the camo appropriate to whatever mission he’s performing, and frequently a balaclava and/or a boonie hat, the latter more often than the former. A flak jacket with plenty of pockets comes along for the ride. He carries a backpack and a case which contain the equipment necessary to set up a properly comfortable sniping position (mat, water, food, etc.), an M82 (.50 cal semi-auto sniper rifle) over one shoulder, a UMP45 (chambered in the .45 ACP round) over the other, and a Five-seveN on his thigh, all with plenty of ammunition appropriate for the weapons, as well as a flashlight and a red dot sight on the UMP45. Personality: Patrick is a soldier, trained and true. He stays calm and cool through trouble, and is trained to care none for human sacrifice, particularly that of the enemy. He makes his best efforts to protect friendlies, but his life is far more valuable to him than others’. Off duty he’s very quiet and a bit cold-shouldered, even to people who should theoretically be his friends. He isn’t interested in much of anything besides shooting and reading classical literature. He has a bizarre penchant for eating corn on the cob (he’ll chase the stuff with unusual passion) and for fruit (he keeps a stock of apples and pineapples in his bag when he goes sniping), as well as enjoying animal hunting. Biography: While maintaining very extra-national features, Patrick was born to second-generation immigrants who had married amongst their own, and in the end ended up with a lot of Russian and Irish blood in him. He joined the military long enough to qualify for advanced marksmanship training, and went all the way through sniper school before the Tyrg offered him employment as a Shadowman. It took a few more years to master the REF for him, as well as cross-training with other Tyrgani operatives, but finally he received a position as a junior member of a Shadowman team of two. As the junior member, he was generally the one with the long rifle, and at this point continues to be constantly. His current fellow operative is Wilhelm Klausmeir. Alliance: Tyrgani Alliance Group Membership: Shadowman Supernatural Abilities: Absolutely none beyond his REF-generating capability.

Red Phoenix48 Gaia Name:Red Phoenix48 Character Name: Gender:Was male Pre-Transformation. Real name: Alexi Ghulurak. Named himself after transformation: Ixpath the Worm. Age: 45 (25 at time of transformation) Species: Formerly human, Now Worm that Walks. Skills: Learned in human anatomy and hand-to-hand combat. Physical Description: A tall, imposing man in life, Alexi is horrifying in death. A living, thinking column of worms in a robe, with sockets for eyes, hands made of worms, and other such things, he is a monument to humanities lust for power, no matter the cost. The worms are a lightish brown color, not at all slimy or sticky, and move as a whole. Personality: Cruel, somewhat sadistic, power-hungry, and generally mean-spirited, Alexi will do whatever it takes to advance, not caring who he has to push aside to get things done. Still, he has his honor to fall back on, evil as he might seem. He sees death as a doorway that can be opened on either side, a testament to how far his corruption has descended. Biography: A moderately skilled wizard in the Necroguild, Alexi always wanted more power, until he hit the cap of the knowledge his weak mortal flesh could witstand.. Instead of despairing, he searched the libraries for something, anything, that would make him more powerful. He discovered the ritual known as the Gathering of Maggots, which would bring a terrible being back to life as a Worm that Walks, a half-alive, half-dead creature that gained ever-increasing power with the mages it consumed. During the casting of this ritual, Alexi underwent unimaginable pain as he was devoured alive by the worms he summoned to do his bidding. Coming back slightly insane, for twenty years he has held back the worm's thirst for blood. The other mages hate and fear him, at least those weaker than him, but he is a exceedingly potent necromancer, and the guild would be foolish to let him go. Alliance: Tyrgani Alliance. Group Membership: Necroguild Supernatural Abilities: Skilled Black Magician who can devour mages alive (By having his body envelope them, then having the worms tear them to pieces) and absorb their power, Physical resistance to anything not on fire (Which spreads like wildfire on his body), ability to disperse and reform elsewhere (A slow form of teleportation) and the ability to heal as long as he is on natural ground (Calling worms out of the earth to join his body.) along with undead traits, such as being immune to death and black magic, but taking more damage from light magic, and holy magic.

Physical Description: Josh is a skinny guy who wears regular clothes with a mage hat which is known for many mages. often when he is mad or uses his magic, his eyes turn all yellow, and shades his face with his hat whis looks like he has no face just darkness. Personality: Josh Valencia is a nice guy who is not very shy. He will destroy almost anyone when he is angry. But not children. Everyone else. Biography: Josh has gone through a lot since he was 10. his Father had died then and only his mother could help him. Eventually she had been assassinated by the Evil People Of the West, or EPOW. He has set off to kill them and find people who have also experienced what has happened to Josh Valencia. Alliance: Mages Of the World, or MOW Group Membership: MOW Supernatural Abilities: Josh, in a fight, would kick some butt or use his magic to kill people. If he is in a pinch, which he usually is, he whips out his knife from his belt and slices them.

Tada! I have a character! Mostly. Gaia Name: SiberDrac
Character Name: Tyrose "Ty" Franklin Gender: Male Age: 16 Species: Werebeast (fox) Skills: Exceptionally skilled at "Ghost Recon," "Tetris," and "Super Smash Brothers: Melee." Impressive hip-hop/breakdancer and contemporary dancer. Basic combat training, primarily in were form. Heightened senses of hearing, sight, and smell (species attribute). Quick sprints, high jumps, and agility are his primary skills, making up for his pathetic upper body strength. Able to sense emotions and lies with 99% accuracy. Retains trivia permanently and learns quickly, when he's interested. Physical Description: Human form: about 5'3", with silken, shoulder-length hair and bright, green eyes, always above a boyish grin. He has tanned skin, smooth features, sloe eyes, a delicately pointed chin, and a thin, adolescently athletic body. There is a tiny scar on the left side of his neck, just under his ear, that is usually covered by his hair. He walks and moves fluidly and playfully, but those eyes that can draw in a woman of any age from a hundred yards away can also pierce into a person's soul. As for clothing, he chooses mostly loose-fitting clothing that flutters in breezes and trails behind his movements like a comet's tail. Fox form: quite obviously, like a smaller, lither version of the classic werewolf. Slightly taller, but unlike many werebeasts, not exceptionally so. He has bright red fur and the same alluring, green eyes. Even when walking upright, he manages not to look hunched or awkward. His tail is proportionately sized. The scar remains. Personality: This is a child with a fierce sense of loyalty to his people who does not abide by racial slurs on the werebeast population or werefoxes. That loyalty is the only readily readable deep moral basis he displays. He is immensely playful and sometimes difficult to keep on track, especially given his customarily shallow senses of value. He is a Bohemian; given the opportunity and the proper alcohol, he'll drink 'til he's drunk and hit on any girl he thinks he has a chance with. Usually, he'll end up in her bed for the night and gone by morning, without once degrading her or treating her like a tool. He'll help an old lady cross the street so he has a chance to look at her jewelry. He'll hold a door for someone because the door looks, in that particular moment, like it would be prettier open. In summary, this is a person who makes people's lives better without that ever being his motivation. Biography: Born and raised in what was once the United States' good Pennsylvania countryside, he has known virtually no cares. His parents put him to work on the farm, but also doted on him and never really needed much done; the acreage was mostly there for show while the parents worked their own jobs. Strangely, in this time of constant stress and uncertainty, these two people never allowed their son or his twin sister to know what the world was going through. They kept the two of them aware of the world; they were not in a box. However, his parents had met because they were both thespians, and good ones. News of bombings was met with grins; assassinations were turned aside with jokes and laughter. This bred in Ty a general inability to understand negative emotions in other people; they always seemed to bring about bad things. The single 'bad thing' to ever happen to Ty was the loss of his sister. The two were as close as a brother and sister could possibly be. As twins raised in such unparalleled conditions, they played together, learned together, finished one another's sentences, and, the one time they were threatened during their lives together, fought together. They completed one another, as well. Ty was always a little skittish and cowardly; his sister was tomboyish and more curious than cautious. Ty could pacify any situation they ever ran into with friends at school; his sister incited them. While in the field behind their house at age fourteen, the two of them were searching for a treasure their parents had said was buried back there. While outside, Ty's sister was suddenly lying on the ground, bleeding profusely from a wound in her stomach. Ty blacked out. When he woke up, she and the blood had vanished. He went back home, and couldn't find his parents. The police found him days later, playing chess with a ninety-year-old man by the side of a busy street downtown. He had somehow gotten a fast food meal, and the two were sharing it as they played. After than, he was given to a foster family that didn't want him and turned him over to the military of the Hunters' Coven, where he was taught how to better use his power and how to fight. The permanent sense of levity had already been instilled, but what had happened beneath the surface stayed there, until he began hearing reports of a girl who had looked just like him appearing in the area he lived in. Then, still with a grin on his face, he ignored his commanding officers' orders and began a hunt for her. She has remained hidden from him, but he is determined that of all things, this is the most important. His parents forgotten, he searches for his sister and in the meantime carries out whatever assignments he might receive, whether academic or military. Alliance: Hunter's Coven Group Membership: none Supernatural Abilities: Venom I'm not sure what your policies on werebeast abilities/magics are, but I think we can go ahead and assume that being able to turn into a werefox is definitely not a natural ability. Haha, no worries.
Now, this character I rather like - he's a traditionally Cabal-aligned species (Werebeast) who's aligned with the Coven for a reason other than the espionage/counterespionage groups.
Regarding supernatural abilities, that would basically be the degree to which he's more powerful, faster, etc., in his animal or half-morph form. Werebeasts are unable to use magic due to the way their transforming ability causes their body to react to mana.
Also, a note, a new generation of young adults is here now - the war generation, so to speak, those who've spent their whole lives with the Council of 27 and its 4 major Factions operating openly. Anyone under twenty is absolutely certain to be unable to remember the pre-war period. I'd have to check notes to get the exact age, which I can't do right now, but yeah.
