I can only wish. He thought as he continued to run after her doing his best to keep up with her so he wouldn't lose her in the tall grass. He knew the direction they were headed in though and soon enough the grass would clear to sand and he wouldn't have to worry about not seeing which way she went.

She continued to run and seemed to disappear into the tall grass around the cove. But she could only around a little aimlessly, never having been to the part of meadows before. Soon enough she was running on sand, which made her blink.

"Here I come Rells," he said chuckling and as soon as he was out of the grass he lept into the air spreading his wings and flew after her, gaining the advantage of speed.

She looked over her shoulders, eyes wide, "That's not fair at all Rasui, you know I can't fly!" she scolded him as she kept running, trying to put more distance between them.

He couldn't help but grin at her especially as they got at the waters edge. Picking up his speed he swooped down above her and wrapping his paws around her lifted her up and flew out over the water keeping low, not knowing how long he could keep it up but he wanted to treat her to this at least for a short moment.

Rella yelped when she suddenly felt paws go around her and she was lifted off the ground. She struggled a little, not understanding what was going on, but relaxed when she saw Rasui over her shoulder. She blushed and looked on ahead, the tips of her paws skimming over the water.

Rasui grinned down at her, "so how do you like flying?" He asked but just as he asked he felt his grip on her slipping too. So he turned back towards the shore but as he turned his paws slipped and he dropped her into the water. And though he personally didn't like swimming because of how the water weighed down his feathers he dove in after her.

"It's....amazing..." she said, enjoying the wind blew through her fur and blond mane. She had a feeling he couldn't hold her up there for very long, but she enjoyed it for as long as possible. What she didn't expect was to be dumped into the water. It wasn't that deep thankfully, but she did cough and sputter as she pushed her head out of the water, taking in air.

Rasui swam up next to Rella with an apologetic look. "Sorry Rells, I meant to get you to the sand," he said wearily hoping she wasn't mad.

Part of her hair clung to her face, but she gave him a reassuring smile as she treaded water, "Oh it's ok, besides, we didn't get hurt!" she exclaimed. She started swimming to shore, her mice bouncing up and down in the sand, looking concerned.

When she started to swim towards the shore he followed after her and up onto the shore, where he shook out his fur and made a disgusted face as his feathers drooped and clung heavily from the water. He then looked over at her and chuckled, "you have one of my feathers in your hair."

She shook her fur off as best she could, but she had to sit down and try to squeeze the water from her hair. She looked over at him when he said she had one of his feathers in her hair, but before she could pull it out, her mice skittered over and pulled it off, starting to play with it. She could only giggle softly at them.

Rasui couldn't help but chuckle as the mice took the feather and started to play with it. "It looked cute on you," he said turning back to look at her as he flopped down into the sand and spread out his wings to help them dry.

She blushed lightly when he said that, smiling, "Thank you." She then laid herself down to let the sun dry her fur, but she had to get busy with her hair so it didn't become totally messed up.

As she took care of her hair he rest his head on his paws and couldn't help but watch her. The way the water beaded on her fur and glistened in her sun made her look like she had a bunch of little gems on her.
