Her heel collided with the boulder like a hammer to a walnut, crunching it down into nothing. LIttle time could be spent lingering though, so she stood backto her feet and moved on to her next rock, able to step up and take a proper attack to it, unlike last time when she had to chase the boulder down the mountain side. This time she would shoulder check the boulder but with her right side, giving her left one a break. It was till sore from the rocks she had stopped it with earlier.

That alone would be enough to do some hefty damage. The second her right shoulder pushed into the boulder it simply gave way. Again she coughed at the dust that floated up around her and she worked up a wad of saliva and dust, spitting it out to the side. Pretty soon she'd be able to lay against the mountain side and blend in with all the dirt that covered her clothes, hands and face. Just the thought of laying down for only a moment was tempting, but the rumbling of stone braught her back into focus as two more bolder brothers tumbled down towards her. Man, these guys just keep coming... Tightening her fists, Amaya choose to stand her ground, her feet planted firmly. And when one of the boulders came to greet her, she offered it her right power punch.

Her fist indented into the boulder, effectively stopping its movement, but failed to destroy it. A numbing tingle raced up her right arm. but she could do little but ignore it. Raising her left hand, she placed it against the boulder to balance herself. Then she cocked back her knee and thrust it forward to smash through the boulder, finishing up the job one fist couldn't handle alone.

Down the pieces of rock fell to meet the earth it came from. And then its twin came charging right afterwards to claim vengeance. She tended to favor her right hand, but Amaya would have to figure out a way to do without it for a few minutes. At least until the odd tingling had passed. This boulder held no concern for her plight however and soon closed the distance between them. She drew back her left arm and slammed an elbow into the stone hoping to crush it in one blow.

The force of her elbow driving into the boulder had produced the desired results and the stone crunched away into the dirt. For a moment, there was nothing and Amaya used the opportunity not to rest, but to continue her ascent of the mountain without interruption. Though she had done a great deal of running and climbing, forward and backward, she had managed to progress along and soon found herself climbing over a ledge that stuck out from the mountain side. It was here that a much larger problem was discovered. The boulders that had been tumbling down towards her this whole time were simply smaller pieces of a huge chunk of rock that had somehow started to shift from the mountain's hold. If she could damage the bigger slab, then maybe some of the weight would ease and the pieces could crumple at a more manageable size, or even stop sliding away all together.
Just as she had worked all of this out, another chunk of stone broke off from the origin and barreled along towards her. It hardly had any speed to it now that she was so close, so she simply planted her feet in a solid horse stance, ready to catch the rolling boulder.

Amaya held out her arms, grunting as the boulder made contact. But her goal was not to actually stop the stone as much as it was to redirect its power, just as Ryoko-sensei had been teaching her. It was a bit awkward, since the boulder was a bit wide, but she believed all the same principles applied. So she quickly adjusted her right foot so that she could pivot, gripping the stone tightly, then spun around launching it right back at the bigger hunk of mountain rock that it had chipped away from.

The boulder went sailing with the combined efforts of her strength and its own redirected force, exploding into the mountain side. Amaya quickly ducked down into a ball covering her head as flying chunks of debris flew through the air from the collision. A large cloud of dust followed like a storm, coating her in a fresh layer of dusty dirt. She didn't move an inch until she was sure that the worst of it had passed and she slowly lowered her arms to take a look. From what she could make of it, no boulders would be running off down the mountain side from this angle any longer. Sighing in relief, the girl fell back flat against the earth, staring up at the sky.

Raisuke saw the rock coming at him before it could ever get too close but he didn't jump up, because he had a plan for this one. He was in what was almost a small hole. He would pull his knees back to his chest. Then as the rock rolled over where he was, he flattened the surface quickly against his feet, launching the large rock into the air. As he did that he rose out of the whole and did a back handspring back away. Because everyone knows, what goes up must come down. And that it did. Though it became kind of stuck in that whole. It also seemed to crack a little bit.

Raisuke would then just casually walk up to the large annoyance and give it a little tap. It would only look as if he were knocking on a door. It seemed to do the trick, because the rock just crumbled at his feet. It went down into the hole like there was never anything there to begin with.

After the arrogant display of how he hit and broke that last rock, he would start to proceed in a sort of zig zag pattern up the mountain once again. This time he would get up there far enough that the rocks were falling at a much quicker pace then before. He finally found one that was actually rolling instead of the falling. He pulled back his left foot while planting his right one firmly, swinging a kick into the large stone. As his foot connected, his leg started to get pulled under the boulder.

Only his toes would be hurt by the boulder though. Because he wouldn't give it time to progress any further. Having already weakened its structure, he would go primitive by throwing a headbutt at it. It would just split in half, not crumbling. As he barely did much to it except hit it at one solid point of impact.

Raisuke would then limp for a second before another boulder came hurdling down the mountain at him. He just threw both arms forward, causing the boulder to start cracking some as his hands impacted its surface. He had just tried to stop it right there, which caused him to start sliding backwards down the mountain with it. His facial expression twisted with the effort he was pushing out.

Raisuke made the mistake of looking back as he held the boulder back. He was nearing what seemed to be a nice sized drop off. His eyes grew wide with panic. He pulled back enough to shove the rock away from him. Then as it came back down at him, he shoved his fist through it with a thunderous force. It almost looked like powder when he was done. But the danger wasn't done yet, another smaller rock was rolling at him that was about waist high. He tried to leap over it, but it caught his feet and he faceplanted right into the side of the mountain. Ouch.

Raisuke's face would be bruised after that one. He would push up like a pushup. As he was coming up, he could see another boulder coming at him. He would twist and throw a coiopera kick. His foot impacting the large stone with enough force that it caused it to roll back up the mountain a little ways.
(Don't know how to spell coipera, but its a type of martial arts. Known as breakdance fighting.)
