Black_Rain Queer Question What concentration camp in Nazi Germany had a large number of homosexual men? I don't remember what it was called, but didn't they make you wear a little pink thing to show you were gay?

Correct!! One of the many homosexual concentration camps ... and yes they did force homosexuals to wear badges. Men -->  Women --> Though the woman's stood for prostitution, birth control users, anti-social woman, and lesbians.

During the Spanish Inquisition, when witches were being burned at the stake, burning gay men with them was common. The gay men were required to gather the faggots (the bundles of sticks used to light the bon fire--the real meaning of the word 'f*****t'). If not enough faggots (sticks) were gathered to complete the job, the gay men were thrown onto the fire to keep it going for the witches. Over time, the word f*****t was often used to refer to gay men, which forced them into the 'closet' for fear of being burned to death. Next time you think about using this offensive word, stop yourself and reconsider what you're saying--who you're offending when using this word. Even if spoken in jest, it can still have devastating effects.
